Actor, writer, director and The Mandalorian creator Jon Favreau was honored with the 2,746th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in a ceremony Monday.

Favreau, who as an actor starred in movies including Rudy, before breaking out as the writer and star of Swingers alongside his longtime friend Vince Vaughn, went on to direct films including the holiday classic Elf and helped launch the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Iron Man in 2008.

Favreau’s Walk of Fame monument reflects his contributions to television.

Favreau was honored at the podium by his Chef coach and Chef Show co-star chef Roy Choi, as well as Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr.

Downey celebrated Favreau’s vision, noting that Iron Man got underway 16 years ago to the day of the honor. Referencing his troubled past, Downey said, “I was beyond grateful for the power of second chances … and for no good reason, Jon and Kevin [Feige, Marvel Studios’ now-president] trusted me.”

Downey explained, “Iron Man was a second-tier superhero property [that] had no shot at affording Kevin Feige the opportunity of launching a cinematic universe, because there was no such thing as a cinematic universe.”

Channeling Tony Stark, a sunglasses-wearing Downey said, “Now I would never insinuate that it was me who made Jon a multihyphenate international sensation,” before adding Favreau’s work “continues to leave us elevated, inspired and connected.”

Favreau humbly accepted the honor in a “very brief speech,” noting he had many fond personal and professional memories of the landmark on Hollywood Boulevard. “To be part of this fabric is really the honor,” he explained, saying he hopes his star will continue to inspire “people who want to tell stories.”

To “make it official,” Downey added a wad of gum to Jon’s star.

Jennifer Lopez is reportedly moving again, this time to a swanky Pacific Palisades mansion in Los Angeles.

ET Canada reports she and husband Ben Affleck sank $34.5 million into buying their new property, which is in escrow. The outlet also pinpointed the Zillow listing, which reveals the mansion was constructed in 2022 and offers seven bedrooms and 13 bathrooms across 15,100 square feet of living space. The residence is set on an acre of land and also comes with a six-car garage.

As for the more luxurious perks, the home offers a gourmet kitchen, full-service bar, temperature-controlled wine cellar, private gym and health spa, private theater, pool, jacuzzi, outdoor kitchen and, per the listing, ample privacy.

The purchase comes a few days after Lopez listed her luxurious Bel Air mansion for $42 million. She and Affleck are also reportedly parting ways with their estate in Georgia, which offers 87 acres, for a cool $8.9 million.

With the addition of their Pacific Palisades mansion, their portfolio includes a mansion in the Hamptons and a cottage in Encino, California, as well as a penthouse in New York City.

After fatal shooting, ‘Rust’ to resume production this spring

Producers announced cameras will roll again this spring on Rust, the Alec Baldwin film on which cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was killed in 2021, according to a press release.

Director Joel Souza, who was injured by the bullet that fatally struck Hutchins after it discharged from Baldwin’s pistol on set, will be back behind the camera, as will several key crew members.

As reported, Matthew Hutchins, the widower of the slain cinematographer, will now serve as an executive producer on the film. He joins Rust‘s original producers and a new addition, Academy Award-nominated The Thin Red Line veteran Grant Hill.

The press release noted safety officers will be added to the film and, “at Hutchins’ behest and with his blessing …, cinematographer Bianca Cline (Marcel the Shell with Shoes On) will complete Halyna’s vision for the film.”

Cline is donating her salary to a charity in Halyna’s honor.

In the announcement, Souza noted, “Though bittersweet, I am grateful that a brilliant and dedicated new production team joining former cast and crew are committed to completing what Halyna and I started. My every effort on this film will be devoted to honoring Halyna’s legacy and making her proud. It is a privilege to see this through on her behalf.”

Baldwin and set armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed have been charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter in Halyna’s death. They are scheduled to make their first court appearance virtually on February 24.

Prosecutors claim that Baldwin and Gutierrez-Reed failed to correct reckless safety violations in their roles as producer and armorer, respectively, and that Baldwin pulled the trigger, contradicting his statements to the contrary.

Last week, Halyna’s parents and sister filed a new lawsuit against Baldwin and the film’s producers, alleging negligence, battery, intentional affliction of emotional distress and loss of consortium.

With 31 superhero movies under his belt, one might think there weren’t many heroes Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige would be excited to meet — but Harrison Ford was one of them.

Feige explained to Entertainment Weekly what it was like landing Ford as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, replacing the late William Hurt in the fourth Captain America film.

“I’m sure anyone you’ve ever talked with about Harrison Ford says this, but it’s unbelievable that we get to meet and talk with him and that he’s embracing this role,” Feige enthuses.

“He’s tireless with the amount of work that he does. This is certainly a big part for Thaddeus Ross. He’s the president of the United States in the film. And with Harrison, you think about Air Force One, and you think about some of his confrontations with the president in Clear and Present Danger.”

He adds of Anthony Mackie‘s character, who has taken up the mantle of Cap from his pal Steve Rogers, “There’s a dynamic between President Ross and Sam Wilson. They have a history together, but in this film, we’ll be seeing the dynamic between Captain America and the president of the United States in a way that is just incredible.”

Feige adds, “This has been a dream for years, ever since Jon Favreau cast Harrison Ford in Cowboys and Aliens. I was always very jealous of that, so to have him finally in the MCU is just incredible. It’s like, I can cross that off the wishlist.”

The studio head says the fourth Cap movie will start shooting “relatively soon.”

On Friday, Marvel Studios’ next big movie goes small — subatomic, actually. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania primarily takes place in the Quantum Realm, the mysterious region far smaller than most have ventured to and has only been glimpsed in the previous movies.

Turns out — according to the film, that is — there’s a whole world in there and a very big threat to our world in the form of Loki veteran Jonathan Majors‘ Kang the Conquerer.

Ant-Man trilogy director Peyton Reed and company, however, needed to build a world for Kang to conquer first, and that took some brainstorming, he explained.

“We looked at everything from electron microscope photography to things like Heavy Metal magazine in the ’70s and ’80s,” Reed explained at a recent press event.

“And we wanted to bring in all these elements, like there’s a little sword and sorcery element, and then there’s a real, like, you know, Moebius element to it,” the filmmaker continued.

“We just wanted to assemble a team of artists and say, ‘We’re creating the Quantum Realm,’ you know? None of the other Marvel movies have really dealt with it, and we want to create this very vivid world that has its own internal history and internal logic and, you know: Who are the creatures there, and who are the people there, and how do you travel? What are the laws of physics? All these things needed to be figured out.”

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania stars returning series actors Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer, as well as Marvel Cinematic Universe newcomer Kathryn Newton as Cassie, the daughter of Rudd’s size-shrinking hero, Scott Lang.

“Believe”: ‘Ted Lasso’ returns to Apple TV+ March 15

Apple TV+

Game on: Ted Lasso is returning to Apple TV+ on March 15.

Following the show’s historic back-to-back Emmy wins, the streamer on Tuesday dropped a teaser to the forthcoming third season.

AFC Richmond’s personalities are shown each making up cheery yellow signs with the word “Believe” written on it — except for, as one might predict, Emmy winner Brett Goldstein‘s Roy Kent, who, with a grunt, scrawls the word in a teensy font.

Jason Sudeikis‘ ever-cheery manager then enters the locker room with Brendan Hunt‘s Coach Beard and smiles, seeing each of the players have taped their respective signs to their lockers.

“Well, if seeing is believing, I believe we’ve been seen,” Ted tells Beard.

Ted Lasso‘s Wednesday debut predicts a mid-week drop for each new episode, a first for the streaming service.

Apple TV+ teases, “In the 12-episode third season…the newly-promoted AFC Richmond faces ridicule as media predictions widely peg them as last in the Premier League and Nate (Nick Mohammed)…has gone to work for Rupert (Anthony Head) at West Ham United. In the wake of Nate’s contentious departure from Richmond, Roy Kent steps up as assistant coach…”

The streamer continues, “Meanwhile, while Ted deals with pressures at work, he continues to wrestle with his own personal issues back home, Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) is focused on defeating Rupert and Keeley (Juno Temple) navigates being the boss of her own PR agency.”

The tease concludes, “Things seem to be falling apart both on and off the pitch, but Team Lasso is set to give it their best shot anyway.”

(NOTE LANGUAGE) Michael B. Jordan‘s played a few roles throughout his career, but his favorite was Oscar Grant in Fruitvale Station. In a feature interview with Rolling Stone, he recalled the reaction from French audiences when he and director Ryan Coogler brought the independent film to France.

“Motherf***ers standing up for 10 minutes. I didn’t know what the f*** was going on,” he recalls. “I never thought a n**** from North Jersey’d be able to have that impact.”

According to Michael, Oscar “is what Adonis [in the Creed series] is the most current iteration of.”

“He is Black in the world. He has to work through the aftereffects of what Killmonger was fighting for, and how Oscar wasn’t seen or respected,” he explains. “Adonis is trying to start a family, and dealing with childhood trauma, not knowing how to talk and not knowing how to express himself. Not knowing why he feels less, why doesn’t he feel worthy.”

Ironically, Michael faces similar struggles, working hard to “feel like I deserved the blessings that I have.” The actor admits he’s scared he’ll never feel like he’s accomplished enough.

“I don’t know if I want to be in a constant state of building. But I don’t see myself slowing down,” Michael says. “Even when I say I want to slow down — I do, in theory, [it] sounds good. But then, I’m so curious … I don’t want to leave any stone unturned. I want to squeeze every f***ing drop out of this.”

When asked if he’ll ever make time for a relationship, he says, “Of course I think about it, but I definitely want to try to be responsible with that, knowing how I wanted to be as present as possible. It’s gonna happen when it’s supposed to happen.”

‘The Bachelor’ recap: One lady has Zach doubting her intentions

‘The Bachelor’ recap: One lady has Zach doubting her intentions
‘The Bachelor’ recap: One lady has Zach doubting her intentions
ABC/Craig Sjodin

This week on The Bachelor, Zach‘s romantic journey took him and the ladies to the Bahamas, where he discovered at least one contestant may not have been there for the right reason.

A group date saw 12 of the women joining Zach for a fun day at the beach, but fun in the sun turned to anger and frustration when Anastasia, seemed to be hogging all the attention, even pulling him away at one point to spend some time alone with him.

Kylee‘s attempt to steal Zach back was met with resistance from Anastasia, leading to a confrontation between the two when Anastasia tried to spin Kylee’s plea not make her have to “fight” Anastasia as a threat of a physical altercation with her.

During a conversation with Zach at the after party, Kylee suggested that, based on a conversations she’d had with one of the other ladies, Anastasia was in the competition to attract Instagram followers, instead of a relationship. Ariel ended up with the date rose and, despite her efforts to convince Zach that her intentions were good, Anastasia was sent packing.

Following the rose ceremony, Davia and Genevie were also sent home.

Elsewhere during a one-on-one date, Brooklyn opened up to Zach about a six-year relationship in which she was the victim of domestic abuse. In a confessional, the 25-year-old Oklahoma native revealed that at one point, she was awakened by police after being knocked out. She eventually gathered the courage to end the relationship and has never looked back. Zach was “blown away” by her courage and offered her the date rose, which she accepted.

Another one-on-one rose went to Katherine — or “Kat” as she prefers to be called.

Here are the 11 women remaining after Monday night’s episode:

Aly, 26, a healthcare strategist from Atlanta, Ga.
Ariel, 28, a marketing executive from New York City, N.Y.
Brooklyn, 25, a rodeo racer from Stillwater, Okla.
Charity, 26, a child and family therapist from Columbus, Ga.
Gabriella “Gabi,” 25, an account executive from Pittsford, Vt.
Greer, 24, a medical sales rep from Houston, Texas. — First Impression Rose
Jessica “Jess,” 23, an e-commerce coordinator from Winter Springs, Fla.
Kaitlyn “Kaity,” 27, an ER nurse from Austin, Texas.
Katherine, 26, a registered nurse from Tampa, Fla.
Kylee, 25, a postpartum nurse from Charlotte, N.C.
Mercedes, 24, a nonprofit owner from Bloomfield, Iowa

The Bachelor returns Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
