Dakota Johnson is stuck between two of Hollywood’s hottest leading men in the trailer for the new romantic comedy Materialists.

Written, directed and produced by Past Lives filmmaker Celine Song, the trailer for the A24 film was released on Monday. Johnson stars as Lucy, a young, ambitious matchmaker living in New York City. She finds herself torn between the affections of her new beau, played by Pedro Pascal, and her imperfect ex-boyfriend, played by Chris Evans.

In the trailer we find Johnson’s Lucy celebrating the ninth marriage her matchmaking business is responsible for.

While attending a wedding, she meets Pascal’s dashing character. As he flirts with her, he is interrupted by Lucy’s ex, played by Evans, who is working the event as a waiter.

As the trailer goes on, we watch Pascal’s character woo Lucy, as Evans’ character yearns for her.

“When I see your face, I see wrinkles and children that look like you. So where does that leave us?” Evans says.

At the end of the trailer, Evans’ character asks Lucy: “Why does anyone even get married?”

She shrugs, before she answers, “Because they’re lonely. And because they’re hopeful.”

The trailer also features a brand-new, original song from the pop band Japanese Breakfast, which is fronted by Michelle Zauner.

Zoe Winters, Marin Ireland, Dasha Nekrasova, Louisa Jacobson and Sawyer Spielberg also star in Materialists. It arrives in theaters on June 13.

Tracy Morgan appeared to experience a medical incident at the New York Knicks vs. Miami Heat game at New York City’s Madison Square Garden Monday night.

The actor and comedian, 56, was transported by wheelchair out of the game after he was seen vomiting at his courtside seat.

The NBA game was delayed during the third quarter following the incident while staff cleaned the area where Morgan was sitting. The Knicks went on to beat the Heat 116-95.

In a statement to ABC News, a Madison Square Garden spokesperson said, “We hope Tracy feels better soon and look forward to seeing him back courtside.”

Morgan is a big Knicks fan and a regular at courtside during home games.

Morgan has previously opened up about health issues, including undergoing a kidney transplant in 2010, sustaining injuries following a major 2014 car accident and having pneumonia.

“I’m here. I’m with y’all. Fight, fight. … Listen, you don’t have to have pneumonia, you don’t have to get hit by a truck. you don’t have to get shot. you don’t [have to] get stabbed. You, God forbid, lay down on your bed [and] not just wake up. So your best bet is just to run your race,” Morgan said on The View in 2019.

ABC News reached out to Morgan’s publicist for more information.

‘Andor’ creator Tony Gilroy no longer releasing scripts of the show: ‘AI is the reason we’re not’
Des Willie

Interested in reading the Andor season 1 scripts? You’re out of luck.

Tony Gilroy, the creator of the Star Wars Disney+ series, told Collider in a recent interview that he is no longer making any of the show’s scripts public out of fear they will be used to train artificial intelligence.

Gilroy had been planning to release a book filled with the first season’s scripts, but the rise of AI has put an end to that goal.

“I wanted to do it,” Gilroy said. “We put it together. It’s really cool. I’ve seen it, I loved it. AI is the reason we’re not. In the end, it would be 1,500 pages that came directly off this desk. I mean, terribly sadly, it’s just too much of an X-ray and too easily absorbed. Why help the f****** robots anymore than you can? So, it was an ego thing. It was vanity that makes you want to do it, and the downside is real. So, vanity loses.”

Andor follows a year in the life of Cassian Andor, played by Diego Luna. It showcases how he was radicalized into the rebel who helped steal the plans for the Death Star, which directly sets up the plot to the first Star Wars film, A New Hope.

Gilroy says the show has a “pretty fancy bunch of writers.”

“Everybody’s very experienced,” Gilroy said. “We only get together for five or six days in the beginning to talk about the story, and then we kind of go, and they do their thing, and then they go away. But I always have them as a reference to call upon.”

The second and final season of Andor premieres on April 22.

Disney is the parent company of Lucasfilm and ABC News.

We are so back.

Daisy Ridley and Alden Ehrenreich are set to star in The Last Resort, an upcoming romantic comedy film from director Donald Petrie, ABC Audio has confirmed.

The Star Wars actors will act alongside each other in the project that will also unite rom-com royalty. Petrie previously directed Miss Congeniality and How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days. The Last Resort‘s script was written by Karen McCullah, who wrote Legally Blonde and 10 Things I Hate About You.

The film follows Brooke, played by Ridley, who is determined to prove that she is worthy of running her father’s hotel empire. After she travels to the Philippines to scout a new resort location, she meets Ben, a pilot played by Ehrenreich. The pair fall in love as he helps her discover the country’s beauty, before she must choose between the life she’s built and the one she has just come to know.

Ridley shared a Reel about the casting news to her Instagram Story on Monday, along with three exclamation points and emoji smiley faces surrounded by red hearts.

Ridley got her big break as Rey in the Star Wars sequel films. She is set to reprise that role in the upcoming movie Star Wars: New Jedi Order. Ehrenreich starred as young Han Solo in the 2018 film Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Rachel Zegler is paying tribute to the original Snow White.

The actress, who plays the Disney Princess in the upcoming live-action remake, took to Instagram to honor Adriana Caselotti, the actress who voiced the character in the 1937 animated classic film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

“just had to pay homage to the original snow white, miss adriana caselotti, to whom i owe everything,” Zegler wrote.

The carousel includes a photo where Zegler styled her hair with curls and a red bow clip. After that is a black-and-white photo of Caselotti sharing a similar hairstyle. Rounding out the post is a video of Zegler, wearing the same ensemble, looking off to the side before staring into the camera and laughing.

Caselotti was named a Disney Legend in 1994. Thought of as Disney’s first ingenue of the animated screen, she voiced both the speaking and singing voice of the animated princess. She died in 1997.

Gal Gadot stars alongside Zegler in the live-action remake. It arrives in movie theaters on March 21.

Regé-Jean Page still has no plans to return to ‘Bridgerton’: ‘Very happy to support’
LIAM DANIEL/NETFLIX

Dearest gentle readers, I regret to inform you that Regé-Jean Page still has no intention of returning to Bridgerton.

The actor, who starred as the Duke of Hastings in the first season of the popular Netflix period romance drama, recently confirmed he has no plans to return to the character.

“I’m very happy to support everyone who’s in the show,” Page said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “Everyone’s finding fantastic success but with the show and personal projects, I’m just super happy to say that.”

It seems he is also not interested in joining another popular franchise. When asked if he has considered what it would be like to play James Bond, Page said he is focusing on his current acting projects.

“It’s not something I’ve thought about very much,” he said.

Bridgerton‘s social media accounts first announced Page’s departure from the show in 2021.

“While all eyes turn to Lord Anthony Bridgerton’s quest to find a Viscountess, we bid adieu to Regé-Jean Page, who so triumphantly played the Duke of Hastings,” the statement read. “We’ll miss Simon’s presence onscreen, but he will always be a part of the Bridgerton family.”

The actor spoke about his exit in an interview with Variety shortly after the announcement was made.

“It’s a one-season arc. It’s going to have a beginning, middle, end – give us a year,” Page said. “It felt like a limited series. I get to come in, I get to contribute my bit and then the Bridgerton family rolls on.”

Conan O’Brien will return to host the 98th Oscars next year, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced Monday.

“The only reason I’m hosting The Oscars next year is that I want to hear Adrien Brody finish his speech,” O’Brien joked in a statement, referring to this year’s best actor Oscar winner, whose acceptance speech was over five minutes long.

The announcement comes two weeks after the comedian and producer hosted his first Academy Awards, the 97th Oscars, on March 2, which brought in over 19 million total viewers, making it the no. 1 prime-time entertainment telecast for the 2024-2025 season.

Ahead of the Oscars this year, O’Brien had told Good Morning America he was excited to host Hollywood’s biggest night.

“I have an amazing team of writers. We have been going through tons of ideas, and I’m excited because I grew up watching the Oscars, and it is something [that’s] imprinted on my memory,” he said in February.

O’Brien will reunite with executive producers Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan, who are both returning for a third year, and producers Jeff Ross and Mike Sweeney, who is also a writer for the awards show.

The 98th Oscars are scheduled to be broadcast live on March 15, 2026, at 7 p.m. ET and 4 p.m. PT on ABC. The ceremony will also return to the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood.
