The White Lotus is officially saying bonjour to France.

HBO Chairman and CEO Casey Bloys confirmed the location of the series’ fourth season in an interview with Deadline after the 77th Emmy Awards.

When asked specifically where the next season will take place, Bloys said, “France for sure but details and location TBD.”

The White Lotus creator Mike White was absent from the Emmy Awards ceremony on Sunday, despite being nominated. It was speculated that his absence was due to him being in France, writing the next season of the show.

“I believe that is the case,” Bloys told Deadline.

While HBO walked away with many acting Emmy Awards at Sunday night’s ceremony, none of them went to season 3 of The White Lotus. Bloys spoke about why he believes the show was shut out of the supporting actor and actress categories despite many nominations.

“I do think that The White Lotus may have been a victim of his own success with so many nominations in the categories,” Bloys said. “But again, that’s the way it goes.”

In all, HBO and HBO Max received 30 Emmy awards across 12 different projects, including outstanding drama series for The Pitt and outstanding lead actress in a comedy series for Jean Smart in Hacks.

Ariana Grande‘s first big-screen comedic role will be in the upcoming Meet the Parents sequel Focker In-Law, and so far producer and star Ben Stiller thinks she’s been doing a great job.

Ariana will play the future daughter-in-law of Stiller’s character, Greg Focker. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight on the Emmys red carpet, Stiller said, “We’ve been shooting about a month and I’ve been having the best time with her.”

“She’s incredible: so much fun, so good, such a pro, so funny,” Stiller added.

Most of the cast members from the other Meet the Parents films are returning, including Teri Polo as Greg’s wife, Pam; Robert De Niro as Greg’s father-in-law, Jack; Blythe Danner as Jack’s wife, Dina; and Owen Wilson as Pam’s former fiancé, Kevin.

Focker In-Law arrives in theaters Thanksgiving 2026. This Thanksgiving — Nov. 21, to be exact — Ariana will be reprising her role as Glinda in Wicked: For Good, the sequel to last year’s smash Wicked.

And as if she wasn’t busy enough, next summer Ariana will hit the road for her first tour in six years, which is set to run from June 2026 to August 2026.

The official trailer for Monster: The Ed Gein Story has arrived.

Netflix released the trailer for the upcoming season in Ryan Murphy‘s anthology series on Monday.

This time around, the focus is on Ed Gein, the serial killer and grave robber who hunted rural Wisconsin in the 1950s. Charlie Hunnam takes on the role of the titular killer in the series, which sets out to explore whether monsters are born or created, and also why audiences are drawn to stories about them.

“Driven by isolation, psychosis, and an all-consuming obsession with his mother, Gein’s perverse crimes birthed a new kind of monster that would haunt Hollywood for decades,” the show’s official synopsis reads. “From Psycho to The Texas Chain Saw Massacre to The Silence of the Lambs, Gein’s macabre legacy gave birth to fictional monsters born in his image and ignited a cultural obsession with the criminally deviant.”

After watching a montage of Hunnam’s Gein doing some horrific things, the trailer breaks the fourth wall. “You’re the one who can’t look away,” the actor says directly into the camera.

The trailer also reveals that Addison Rae will appear in the series as Evelyn, a babysitter who becomes one of Gein’s victims.

Tom HollanderLaurie MetcalfSuzanna SonVicky KriepsOlivia WilliamsLesley Manville and Charlie Hall also make up the show’s cast.

Monster: The Ed Gein Story will be available to stream Oct. 3 on Netflix.
