It’s a busy week for Riley Green, as he sets his Cowboy As It Gets Tour in motion Thursday in Southaven, Mississippi.

Justin Moore, Drake White and Mackenzie Carpenter join him for the first show, with Zach John King, Hannah McFarland and Adam Hood coming along later in the run.

Sunday brings his much-anticipated debut on Taylor Sheridan’s Marshals. “Music’s my only escape,” Riley’s character says in an Instagram preview that also hints at his past as a “damaged man.”

It also includes a snippet of his new song, “My Way,” which comes out Friday. It’s Riley’s first new music this year, save for his duet with Carly Pearce on “If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay.”

You can tune in to see his Marshals debut Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+.

You can register now for presale access at Teddy’s website. Presales start April 21 and run through the week; tickets go on sale to the general public on April 24 at 10 a.m. local time.

After Coachella, Teddy is also booked to play the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and BottleRock Napa in California in May and Bonnaroo in June, with headline shows in between. He’ll spend the summer on tour in Europe.

Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan on why he refuses to use AI

Billy Corgan wants folks to know that he is not a fan of artificial intelligence.

In a recent interview with the And The Writer Is… podcast, the Smashing Pumpkins frontman didn’t hold back when sharing his thoughts about using AI to make music.

“You didn’t ask me, but I’m gonna make a declaratory statement. I refuse, refuse, patently refuse to use AI in my music creation,” Corgan says. “Because, to me, it’s a deal with the devil. Simple.”

“Whether it’s the Promethean fire myth or whatever, to me you’re literally leaning into the thing that will destroy you. Period,” he adds. “So that’s why I’m not gonna mess with it, because the pressure, the inspiration, the soul searching, the ‘I’m not sure I got anything else to say,’ that’s all part of the journey that a songwriter needs to go to.”

Corgan goes on to say that by embracing AI, folks are “flirting with the thing that will destroy us as an economy, as a business, as a movement.”

“We’re asking to be eradicated,” he adds. “But I’m saying, on a spiritual level to lean into it is to ask to be wiped out. You’re asking to be wiped out.”

Victoria Beckham is speaking out about her family in the wake of her son Brooklyn Beckham’s comments criticizing his parents earlier this year.

The Spice Girl and fashion designer briefly discussed the family dynamics with The Wall Street Journal in a wide-ranging profile, published Thursday.

The publication noted Victoria Beckham spoke on the topic without mentioning Brooklyn Beckham’s name specifically.

“I think that we’ve always — we love our children so much,” she said when asked about her eldest son, according to the Journal. “We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be. And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now.”

She continued, “All we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it.”

ABC News has reached out to a representative for Brooklyn Beckham for comment.

Brooklyn Beckham came forward with a lengthy statement on social media in January detailing the family fallout, which he claimed centered around his wife, Nicola Peltz, whom he married in 2022.

“I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private,” he wrote at the time. “Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.”

The 27-year-old claimed in his statement that throughout his life, his parents had “controlled narratives in the press” and “placed” stories, “at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade.”

He also accused his parents of mistreating him and attempting to sabotage his relationship with Peltz, starting before the couple’s marriage.

ABC News reached out to representatives for Brooklyn, Victoria and David Beckham at the time, as well as Peltz, but did not hear back.

David Beckham addressed the accusations on CNBC a few days later, saying, “Children are allowed to make mistakes. That’s how they learn. So, that’s what I try to teach my kids. But, you know, you have to sometimes let them make those mistakes, as well.”

He added, “I’ve always spoken about, you know, social media and the power of social media. What I have found personally, you know, especially with my kids, as well, use it for the right reasons.”

Get ready for a brand-new world of pure imagination.

Kit Connor and Taika Waititi are set to lend their voices to the upcoming animated film Charlie vs. the Chocolate Factory.

Connor will star as Charlie Paley, while Waititi will lend his voice to Willy Wonka. The film is set for a 2027 Netflix release.

It follows Willy Wonka, who has spent years after the golden ticket contest behind bars for the crime of turning a child into a blueberry. After he’s served his time, Wonka returns to his chocolate factory only to find a new foe in teenager Charlie Paley. Charlie and his friends hatch a plot to break into the factory, take a priceless Wonka bar and save their homes from eviction.

“I’m so excited to enter the wonderful world of Wonka. I was immediately caught by the early concept art and the directors’ vision for the film — capturing the spirit and heart that made the original story so special, whilst imbuing it with something so fresh and unique,” Connor said in a press release. “It’s such a fun representation of the London that I know. This new adventure is going to surprise audiences around the world. You’re in for a treat!”

Jared Stern and Elaine Bogan will direct the film that is from the animators at Sony Pictures Imageworks aka the studio behind Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and KPop Demon Hunters.

“Our directors, Jared and Elaine, have a bold vision befitting this new adventure whilst remaining sympathetic to the legacy, and I’m thrilled to play my part in bringing Willy Wonka to life in animated form,” Waititi said. “He is so special to me, and the opportunity to voice such an iconic, eccentric candy genius — if a little mischievous at times — is hugely exciting.”

Cadaver dogs in the Bahamas to help search for missing American Lynette Hooker, April 16, 2026. (ABC News)

(NEW YORK) — The husband of an American woman who is missing in the Bahamas has left the islands two days after being released by local authorities, his attorney said Wednesday, as the search continues for his wife, Lynette Hooker.

The attorney for Brian Hooker said his mother is not well.

Meanwhile, cadaver dogs from the U.S. Coast Guard are now being used to help with the search for Lynette Hooker, local police told ABC News.

The Royal Bahamas Defence Force said in a statement Thursday that the search and recovery work is ongoing, with operations involving “extensive shoreline patrols, sea patrols, aerial drone surveillance, and submersible drone operations.”

Lynette Hooker has been missing since the evening of April 4. Her husband reported she went overboard on a dinghy.

When the 55-year-old Michigan woman and her husband departed Hope Town on the Abaco Islands for their yacht, Soulmate, in Elbow Cay, bad weather caused her to fall off the dinghy, her husband told authorities.

Brian Hooker, 58, was arrested on April 8 and questioned by police. He was released on Monday without charges.

Brian Hooker told ABC News on Tuesday that he was staying in the Bahamas with a “sole focus” of finding his wife, “no matter how likely or unlikely that is.”

He said at the time that he planned “to go back to the boat, and then hire or beg people to help me go find some areas to search.”

Brian Hooker’s attorney did not allow him to answer questions about what happened the night his wife went overboard due to the pending investigation.

When asked if there was anything he wishes he’d done differently, Brian Hooker was emotional, saying, “I will always think there was something I could have done differently. My one job, my one job was to look out for her, and that has not happened. And I’m gonna keep looking out for her now, the best I can.”
