Tucker Wetmore has released “Proving Me Right,” his first new music since his debut album, What Not To. Some fans think it’s about his real-life ex-girlfriend, who is allegedly dating another country artist. “Keep on puttin’ it on now, baby/ Find some guy with a song now, baby,” Tucker sings. “Go do what you wanna/ But all you’re doin’ me wrong is just proving me right.”

After many teases, Luke Combs has released the touching ballad “Giving Her Away.” It’s written from the point of view of a groom talking to his soon-to-be father-in-law on his wedding day. “Giving Her Away” comes with a video of Luke recording the song in the studio. “Man, you brought your baby/ I brought a ring,” he sings. “And I’m giving her my name/ And you’re giving her away.”

Cory Kent has teamed up with Koe Wetzel for a song called “Rocky Mountain Low.” In a statement, Corey, who co-wrote the song, says, “It has all the rock and roll elements I grew up on and all the country influences I love. I asked my buddy Koe to jump on the second verse, and he was the person I pictured when writing that part, so having him on the track just makes it feel even more authentic.”

Dasha has teamed up with singer Ricky Manning to record a duet version of his viral hit “Someone Else & Jesus.” She says in a statement, “My ex-situationship actually played me this song in his car last year, and I instantly became obsessed. A few weeks later, I randomly ran into Ricky and totally had a fangirl moment because of how much I loved the track.” That led to the collaboration. (Video contains uncensored profanity.)

DJ Khaled took to Instagram to share the nostalgic gift he received from Jay-Z and Roc Nation for his 50th birthday. The video starts with Khaled looking at throwback photos of the BMW M3 1991 he used to own, before walking out of his home to see a red BMW M3 1991 waiting in his driveway. “Nah, this legendary,” Khaled said. “Y’all went crazy with that. You know how classic this is? … Yo Hov, stop, y’all gonna make me cry. … I used to sell alligator shoes out the back of the trunk! This that real deal.”

Monica poked fun at Ray-J‘s use of social media when she jokingly confiscated his phone at the Boy is Mine tour stop in Atlanta Thursday. “Before we leave here, I am going to take Ray-J’s phone,” Monica said, before walking over to him and taking it away. “He’s not just Brandy’s brother, but he’s my brother, too. In all he does, he means well.”

An official teaser has been released for Keke Palmer‘s Peacock series, The Burbs, which is set to release on Feb. 8, 2026. The show “follows a young couple who have reluctantly relocated to the husband’s childhood home,” according to a press release. “Their world is upended when a new neighbor moves in across the street, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light, and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood.”

Victoria Monét revealed during a recent episode of Angel Reese‘s podcast that she’d love to collab with Drake. “I still want to work with Drake,” she said. Reese responded, “As you should.”

Alex Warren has teamed up with Gigi Perez for a new version of his song “Eternity,” along with a live performance video of the song.

The track originally appeared on Alex’s album You’ll Be Alright, Kid, and Alex and Gigi performed it together at Lollapalooza in Chicago over the summer.

“Im so lucky to be able to call this amazing woman a friend, collaborator and someone I truly just admire,” Alex wrote of Gigi on Instagram Friday. “You often hear about collaborations in music being so sterile but with Gigi i was able to find someone I truly can call one of my closest friends.”

He added, “Watching her in the studio inspires me [every day] to be a better musician but also to be able to give a song another life is so incredibly hard to do and she was able to somehow leave an imprint I never thought was possible.”

Gigi said in a statement that she connected to the song right away. “Grief is an isolating experience and having a friend who understands you makes the difference between isolation and connection,” she said. “I’ve been greatly impacted by the way Alex shares his experience with loss through his music and it encourages me to continue to share my story.”

Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Gene Simmons is headed to Washington.

The KISS founding member is set to testify on Tuesday before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee’s Intellectual Property Subcommittee in support of the American Music Fairness Act. The bipartisan bill aims to ensure radio corporations pay performers for playing their music.

“Having spent my career in the music and entertainment industry, I understand the vital importance of this issue,” Simmons said in a statement. “The American Music Fairness Act represents sound public policy. Artists must be properly compensated for their creative work.”

He added, “I look forward to meeting with both Republican and Democratic Senators to discuss why this legislation is crucial for thousands of present and future American recording artists.”

This isn’t the only reason Simmons will be in DC. On Sunday, he and his KISS bandmates will receive the Kennedy Center Honors. The ceremony will be taped and air Dec. 23 on CBS.

In Simmons-related news … the sons of Simmons and his band mate Paul Stanley are making music together. Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons, who go by Stanley Simmons, just released their debut single, “Body Down.” The song is now available via digital outlets.

This season of The Voice featured Zac Brown as a mentor for the teams coached by Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé. Now he’ll return to the show to perform on its season finale, along with Riley Green.

Billboard reports that during the Dec. 16 finale, Riley will perform the song “Jesus Saves” from his latest album, Don’t Mind If I Do. It also appeared on his 2024 EP, Way Out Here.

Zac will perform “Butterfly,” a song that was originally recorded as a duet with Dolly Parton. It appears on Zac Brown Band‘s new album, Love & Fear, which came out Friday. Standing in for Dolly on the song will be Noah Cyrus.

The two-night season finale starts Dec. 15 on NBC.

Violet Grohl, the eldest of Dave Grohl‘s daughters, has premiered her debut singles.

The tracks are called “THUM” and “Applefish,” and are out now via Bandcamp.

“I’m beyond excited to finally share a little bit of what I’ve been working on over the last year,” Violet shares in an Instagram post. “I made these tracks with the most bada** group of musicians, so happy they’re finally yours.”

Violet, 19, previously sang on a cover of the X song “Nausea” with her dad, which was released in 2021. She’s also sung live with Foo Fighters and performed “All Apologies” during Nirvana‘s reunion performance at the FireAid benefit concert in January.

The Hollywood Reporter reported in 2024 that Violet was working on her debut album.

The Game teamed with DJ Drama for Gangsta Grillz: Every Movie Needs a Trailer. There are 18 tracks on the project, with features from Eric Bellinger, Jeremih, Mozzy, O.T. Genasis, Hailey Williams and Latoiya Williams. He also worked with producing duo Mike & Keys.

GloRilla has released double the music, dropping singles “March” and “Special.” “March” is accompanied by a music video directed by Troy Rescue, which finds Glo as a member of a marching band. It’s an homage to the 2002 film Drumline. “Special” sees Glo getting personal and asking her man for a few affirmations.

Westside Gunn has released a new song about the sneaker brand he recently collaborated with. My Sauconys Glowin — a three-track EP featuring Stove God Cooks and Benny the Butcher — comes on the heels of his Saucony Progrid Triumph 4 Super FlyGods. Stove God also dropped “El Pueblo.”

Young Thug dances in the studio as he listens back to the song “Revenge” in its new music video, available to watch on YouTube. Features Lil Gotit and 1300Saint are also spotted busting out their dance moves and performing their respective verses for the visual.

Ice Spice released the song and video for “Thootie” featuring Tokischa. “It’s the [first time] people are actually hearing me speak or rap in Spanish, and it was fun to show another side of who I am, and it’s even more special that I got to do it with Toki,” Ice says in a statement, as per Uproxx. “We went to the Dominican Republic to shoot the video last month, and it was a vibe. I definitely felt at home.”

In case you didn’t believe it’s actually P.O.D. playing that cover of The Beatles‘ “Don’t Let Me Down,” we now have some visual evidence.

The “Youth of the Nation” rockers have premiered the video for their take on the 1969 single, featuring footage of Sonny Sandoval and company rocking out to the track. You can watch it on YouTube.

P.O.D. first released their “Don’t Let Me Down” cover in September.
