(NEW YORK) — Former Vice President Kamala Harris kept the door open on a possible third presidential run, saying that she’s “thinking about it,” eliciting cheers from a majority of the crowd at the National Action Network Convention on Friday.

“Listen, I might, I might. I’m thinking about it, I’m thinking about it,” Harris responded when Rev. Al Sharpton, during their chat at the New York City convention he hosts, flatly asked her if she’s planning to run again.

Harris, who said she has spent the last year traveling parts of the country, said that the status quo in government and politics is not working.

“I’ve been traveling the country the last year, I’ve been spending a lot of time in the South and many other places, and the one thing I’m really clear about, also, is the status quo is not working, and hasn’t been working for a lot of people for a long time, and part of the issue is the need to get rid of some of the bureaucracy in government and to understand that the people want — they don’t want process, they want progress. And that’s the work that needs to be done,” Harris said.

During her discussion with Sharpton, Harris was met with different chants during her remarks, including “run again.”

The National Action Network Convention is expected to be the biggest gathering of possible Democratic 2028 presidential hopefuls with appearances by former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, Sen. Mark Kelly and Rep. Ro Khanna.

Nearly all of the hopefuls have either expressed interest or have not shut down the idea about running for president.

So far, many potential presidential candidates have discussed the Iran war as they have chatted with Sharpton during the four-day convention — including Harris.

On Friday, she rebuked Trump’s handling of the Iran war and said that he has deteriorated America’s relationship with foreign allies, leading the country to lose its global standing.

“Let us understand, first of all, this president is the first president of the United States since World War II who does not believe in the alliances that we have with friendly nations, does not believe in the strength of them, the recognition of the history with them, and the importance that that relationship bears on our standing around the world, our influence around the world, not to mention our national security,” Harris said.

Harris said that under Trump’s second term, America is losing its global influence, and it will take “serious” work to regain it.

As Trump has maintained that the U.S. “obliterated” Iran’s nuclear program last June, Harris seemed to say that the war in Iran is evidence that it did not actually happen.

“The man said he got rid of their nuclear arsenal. ‘Obliterated’ it he said, you know how he likes to use those kind of words, ‘obliterated’ it, which is not an ambiguous term — that means you took it out,” Harris said. “Well, evidently he didn’t do that.”

Harris is set to take part in fundraisers for Democrats across the South this spring, turning her focus to helping the party win next fall during the midterm elections as her book tour winds down.

Her April schedule includes fundraisers for the North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia Democratic parties, and remarks at the Arkansas Democratic Party’s annual dinner.

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band have released two live performance videos shot during their current Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour.

The videos are for performances of “Streets of Minneapolis” and Prince’s “Purple Rain,” both filmed during opening night of the tour at Minneapolis’ Target Center.

The “Streets of Minneapolis” performance marked the first time Springsteen performed the protest song backed by The E Street Band. He released the tune in late January, noting it was written in response to what was happening in Minnesota, including the fatal shootings of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

The Prince cover, performed in the late singer’s home state, was the first time Springsteen’s performed it live in over a decade. He dedicated the song to “the maestro.”

Springsteen and The E Street Band wrapped a two-night stand at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles Thursday, which included the tour debut of The River track “Two Hearts.”

The Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour hits San Francisco on Monday. A complete list of dates can be found at BruceSpringsteen.net.

(ONTARIO, Calif.) — A man is facing federal charges for allegedly purposely setting the fire that destroyed a massive warehouse in Southern California, prosecutors said.

Chamel Abdulkarim, 29, is charged with arson of a building used in interstate and foreign commerce and used in activities affecting interstate and foreign commerce, the Department of Justice said on Friday.

On April 7, Abdulkarim allegedly took video of himself setting fire to paper goods in the Ontario, California, distribution center, prosecutors said.

Abdulkarim allegedly said in the video, “If you’re not going to pay us enough to [expletive] live or afford to live, at least pay us enough not to do this [expletive],” the DOJ said in a statement.

The massive blaze destroyed the 1.2 million-square-foot warehouse and caused about $500 million in damage, prosecutors said. No one was injured, the Ontario Fire Department said.

In texts and phone calls, Abdulkarim allegedly said, “I just cost these [expletive] billions,” and, “All you had to do was pay us enough to live. … Didn’t see the shareholders picking up a shift,” according to prosecutors.

The suspect also allegedly posted videos on social media of him starting the fire, prosecutors said.

Abdulkarim, of Highland, California, was arrested on Tuesday on state charges and is expected to be arraigned in state court on Friday, prosecutors said.

Attorney information for Abdulkarim was not immediately available.

Kenny Chesney Live at Sphere Las Vegas (Messina Touring)

Kenny Chesney’s decided to enjoy the Independence Day holiday instead of playing at Sphere July 3-4.

Ticket holders were notified in a message Wednesday, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

“Funny thing about holidays, family, and traditions,” the note said. “You don’t realize how important they are until you remember all the things people in your life want to do to celebrate them; the reason people come together, go home and remember, catch up with old friends.

“Over the last few weeks, I’ve heard about a lot of traditions that wouldn’t be happening – because I was going to play Las Vegas over the 4th of July Weekend,” he continued. “I won’t say I didn’t realize, but I will say: hearing from people I know and care about, I heard them loud and clear.”

Recipients were also given a promo code for another Sphere date.

“Not that I don’t want to see you at Sphere, to share this incredible, full-immersion music-visual experience with you. I do,” he closed.

The “When the Sun Goes Down” hitmaker played 15 shows there in 2025, becoming the first country artist to headline the innovative venue.

Kenny’s nine dates in 2026 kick off June 19 and wrap July 11.

Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello plays on a new song from Peter Frampton called “Lions at the Gate.”

The track is a protest song that, according to a press release, “draws inspiration from lion statues outside Hollywood elite mansions in the 1920s.” It symbolizes “a bold challenge to the ultra-powerful.”

“‘Lions at the Gate’ is a powerful track with a powerful message, and Tom’s playing took it to another level,” Frampton says.

“Lions at the Gate” will appear on Frampton’s upcoming album, Carry the Light, due out May 15. It marks Frampton’s first collection of all-new material in 16 years.

Morello, meanwhile, is currently on tour with another classic rock legend, Bruce Springsteen, playing select songs with the E Street Band.

Doechii and Lady Gaga are ready to hit the “Runway.”

The two artists have released their collaboration for The Devil Wears Prada 2 soundtrack, after the song was initially teased in the film’s final trailer.

The fierce track was made for strutting, with Doechii declaring, “Monday through Sunday, I can turn a dance floor into a runway.”

The song was written by Gaga, Bruno Mars, Andrew Watt and others, and produced by Mars, Watt, Cirkut and D’Mile.

This marks the first collab between Doechii and Gaga, who have expressed mutual admiration for each other.

After Gaga told British Vogue that Doechii’s “pen feels immediately legendary,” Doechii reacted in an interview with People. “I’m the biggest Lady Gaga fan, and she is so dedicated to her creativity and pushing the limits, so for a legend like that to say that about me, it really, really validated me in a humbling way,” she said.

20th Century Studios’ The Devil Wears Prada 2, starring Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep, hits theaters May 1.

Dogstar has premiered a new song called “Joy,” a track off the Keanu Reeves-featuring band’s upcoming album, All in Now.

“It begins with ethereal, dreamy reverb guitar that sets a tone,” vocalist/guitarist Bret Domrose says of “Joy.” “I bought a new guitar – a vintage Gibson ES335 Hollow Body that I brought in. It gave us some new tones to explore and opened a new avenue for us to explore.”

You can watch the video for “Joy” on YouTube.

All in Now, which also includes the previously released title track, is due out May 29. It’s the follow-up to 2023’s Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees, which marked the first Dogstar album in over 20 years.

Dogstar will play a pair of California shows in May to celebrate the album release before launching a full U.S. tour in August.

Yes’ ‘Aurora’ (InsideOutMusic/Sony Music)

Yes is back with new music.

The band — currently made up of Steve Howe, Geoff Downes, Jon Davison, Billy Sherwood and Jay Schellen — will release the new album, Aurora, on June 12. They are previewing the record with the release of the title track.

“Making this record was joyful, a chance to play, explore and give everything to the music,” says Howe. “It’s always been about collaboration, somebody can write a song, but until everybody puts their contribution in it isn’t really a Yes song. We’re not trying to echo the past; we’re carrying the spirit of Yes forward and turning it into something new.”

Aurora is Yes’ 24th studio album and their first since 2023’s Mirror to the Sky. It will be released digitally, on CD and as a two-LP set, along with limited-edition deluxe editions that come with a bonus disc of instrumentals, a Blu-ray with various audio mixes of the album and more.

All formats are available for preorder now.

Yes recently postponed their European and U.K. Fragile tour so Howe could recover from needed surgery. On the tour, the band was supposed to play their 1971 album, Fragile, in its entirety.
