If you heard a collective “AWWW!” recently, it might have been from the 12.4-million-plus people who liked Tom Holland‘s sweet Happy Birthday post on Instagram to his Spider-Man films co-star and reported girlfriend Zendaya.
The Avengers film star posted a Spider-Man dressing-room photo of himself and Zendaya that she snapped in a mirror, along with a note that reads, “My MJ, have the happiest of birthdays. Gimme a call when your [sic] up xxx.”
The cuteness overload was nearly too much for followers to handle, with one adding, “YALL IM CRYIN.” Another offered of Tom’s message, “lost my boyfriend but is for zendaya so it’s okay.”
The post was also liked by Tom’s onscreen Aunt May, Marisa Tomei, who commented with a rose emoji.
Oh, and for the record, Zendaya responded some hours later with the message, “calling now,” adding a heart emoji.

After teasing it on social media on Tuesday, Elton John has now confirmed plans to release a star-studded compilation called The Lockdown Sessions.
Due out on October 22, the album collects the many collaborations that Elton worked on after he was forced to put his Farewell tour on pause due to COVID-19. Among these are new songs that he recorded with Stevie Nicks and Stevie Wonder.
“The last thing I expected to do during lockdown was make an album. But, as the pandemic went on, one-off projects kept cropping up,” Elton explains. “Some of the recording sessions had to be done remotely, via Zoom, which I’d obviously never done before. Some of the sessions were recorded under very stringent safety regulations: working with another artist, but separated by glass screens.”
He adds, “But all the tracks I worked on were really interesting and diverse, stuff that was completely different to anything I’m known for, stuff that took me out of my comfort zone into completely new territory.”
The Lockdown Sessions features Elton collaborating with more than 20 artists over 16 tracks, 10 of which are previously unreleased. The unreleased tracks include his collaborations with Nicks and Wonder, as well as with the late Glen Campbell, Pearl Jam‘s Eddie Vedder, Nicki Minaj, Lil Nas X and Charlie Puth.
Also included is his new single with Dua Lipa, “Cold Heart (PNAU Remix),” and the all-star version of Metallica‘s “Nothing Else Matters” that he recorded with Miley Cyrus, Metallica’s Robert Trujillo, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, guitarist/producer Andrew Watt, and famed cellist Yo-Yo Ma.
In an Instagram message, Elton adds that he’s also working on a regular album with songwriting partner Bernie Taupin, which will be his next release.

The Pearl Jam frontman is set to appear on the “Rocket Man” icon’s upcoming album The Lockdown Sessions, due out October 22. As the title suggests, the compilation collects various songs John had recorded with different artists while quarantining amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The last thing I expected to do during lockdown was make an album,” Elton explains. “But, as the pandemic went on, one-off projects kept cropping up.”
“Some of the recording sessions had to be done remotely, via Zoom, which I’d obviously never done before,” he adds. “Some of the sessions were recorded under very stringent safety regulations: working with another artist, but separated by glass screens.”
Vedder’s contribution is a song called “E-Ticket.” The Lockdown Sessions also includes John’s previously released song “The Pink Phantom” with Gorillaz, as well as the all-star version of Metallica‘s “Nothing Else Matters” he recorded with Miley Cyrus, Metallica‘s Robert Trujillo, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, guitarist/producer Andrew Watt, and famed cellist Yo-Yo Ma.

(NEW YORK) — Sleeping too much or too little each night can harm adults’ brain performance, increase symptoms of depression and weight and raise the risk of Alzheimer’s disease, according to a new study.
The study, published in the journal JAMA Neurology, found that sleeping six hours or less per night or nine hours or more per night negatively impacted adults’ health.
“There appears to be a real sweet spot,” said Dr. Jennifer Ashton, ABC News chief medical correspondent and a board-certified OBGYN. “People who got less than six hours of sleep on PET scan brain imaging had a higher rate of these brain plaques that we’ve found in association with Alzheimer’s disease.”
“However, too much, just as bad. Nine or more hours associated with poor cognitive performance,” added Ashton, who was not involved in the study.
The ideal amount of sleep per night is seven to eight hours, the study found.
“This really speaks to the fact that more is not better,” said Ashton. “Your brain needs a certain amount of sleep, but too much actually kind of puts your brain to sleep in some ways.”
The findings of the study — which looked at data from more than 4,000 adults in United States, Canada, Australia and Japan — reemphasize the important role sleep plays in achieving optimal health, according to Ashton.
She noted that not getting enough sleep each night affects your immune system and has been associated with everything from increased risk of heart attacks and stroke to depression and obesity.
“I always say sleep has a [public relations] problem. We look at it like a luxury. In fact, it is a medical necessity,” she said. “We need to prioritize this on par with our nutrition and our fitness for optimum health.”
Ashton added, “I always tell people, ‘If you are not feeling right, look at your sleep first.’”
Here are Ashton’s four tips for achieving a good night’s sleep, in her own words:
1. Follow a consistent sleep schedule: That means, if possible, every day go to sleep and wake up around the same time. You can’t make up for this on the weekend.
2. Avoid heavy meals, alcohol and caffeine in the couple of hours before bedtime.
3. The environment is really important. You want to keep your bedroom cold, dark and quiet, without something with a screen.
4. Meditation and exercise during the day have been shown to increase sleep at night.
