As has been reported, Lily James and Sebastian Stan became perfect doppelgängers for Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee for the Hulu film Pam & Tommy, but now the buzzy Hulu series has a new teaser.
The clip serves as something of an origin story for one of the couple’s most infamous — and intimate — escapades: their stolen sex tape.
Seth Rogen and Parks and Recreation‘s Nick Offerman are seen scanning through a videotape that was stolen in a burglary of the stars’ Malibu home, when they strike gold: X-rated honeymoon footage of the pair.
“It’s so private,” Offerman’s Uncle Miltie says. “It’s like we’re seeing something we’re not supposed to be seeing. Which is kinda what makes it so hot.”
The stolen footage was leaked online, prompting the Motley Crüe drummer and the Baywatch icon to sue the distributor, Internet Entertainment Group. After settling with the company, the footage was released legitimately in 1998, and made a reported $77 million in less than a year.
Helmed by Stan’s I, Tonya director Craig Gillespie, Pam & Tommy tracks the couple’s whirlwind romance, their quickie 1995 wedding, and their turbulent marriage, which ended in 1998, amid reports of physical abuse.
Neither stars were involved in the making of the series, which was produced by Rogen and his longtime collaborator, Evan Goldberg.
Today marks the 40th anniversary of the release of Joan Jett‘s most successful album, I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll, which features the pop-punk legend’s signature song, her classic cover of U.K. glam-rock group The Arrows‘ 1975 tune of the same name.
I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll was Jett’s second album following the 1979 breakup of her influential all-female group The Runaways, and the first that she released with her longtime backing band The Blackhearts.
The original Blackhearts lineup featured guitarist Eric Ambel, bassist Gary Ryan and drummer Lee Crystal although Ambel was replaced early on during the sessions by Ricky Byrd.
The title track, which was written by Arrows members Alan Merrill and Jake Hooker, became a massive hit for Jett & the Blackhearts, spending seven consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 during the spring of 1982. It’s Jett’s only song ever to top the chart, and was the third-best-selling track in the U.S. in ’82 overall.
The album also included Jett & the Blackhearts’ second-highest-charting single, a cover of Tommy James and the Shondells‘ 1969 #1 hit “Crimson and Clover” that reached #7 on the Hot 100 for Joan and company.
The album, which was split between original tunes written or co-written by Joan and cover tunes, also included memorable renditions of The Dave Clark Five‘s 1964 smash “Bits and Pieces,” doo-woop group The Halos‘ 1961 hit “Nag” and the holiday classic “Little Drummer Boy.”
The I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll album peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200 and has gone on to sell more than a million copies in the U.S.
In 2016, Jett & the Blackhearts’ version of “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll” was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
Here’s the album’s full track list:
“I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll”
“(I’m Gonna) Run Away”
“Love Is Pain”
“Nag”
“Crimson and Clover”
“Victim of Circumstance”
“Bits and Pieces”
“Be Straight”
“You’re Too Possessive”
“Little Drummer Boy”
Could an Anderson .Paak–Taylor Swift collaboration be on the way?
On Tuesday, .Paak, who with Bruno Mars is one half of the duo Silk Sonic, took to Twitter to joke that he’d teamed up with the wrong artist, after sharing a screenshot that revealed that the duo’s debut, An Evening with Silk Sonic, was second in sales to Taylor’s Red (Taylor’s Version) on the U.S. music charts.
“Looks like I linked up with the wrong pop star!” he teased. “Hey @taylorswift13 is your number still the same!? Lmk if you need help with [re-recording your album] 1989, I’m available! #ShakeItOff.”
Perhaps someone used a future copy of Gray’s Sports Almanac to score some easy money: An anonymous bidder plunked down more than half a million bucks for Marty McFly’s hoverboard.
The prop from 1989’s Back to the Future 2, which was autographed by Michael J. Fox and his onscreen nemesis, Thomas F. Wilson, aka Biff Tannen, sold for $506,250 as part of U.K.-based PropStore’s most recent Hollywood memorabilia auction.
The auction house’s event raised nearly $8 million total, thanks to buyers spending big on items including Tom Hanks‘ volleyball pal, Wilson, from 2000’s Castaway, a full-sized Terminator endoskeleton, and more.
“Wilson” was the second-highest-earner of the event last week, fetching more than $388,000 including premiums and fees, while a light-up X-wing miniature used in 1983’s Return of the Jedi came in third, selling for more than $320,600 when the hammer fell.
Tying for fourth place were a helmet worn by Russell Crowe‘s Maximus in the 2000 Oscar-winning epic Gladiator, and Hayden Christensen‘s Anakin Skywalker lightsaber from 2005’s Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, both of which sold for $303,750.
Rounding out the top five biggest earners was Will Ferrell‘s Buddy the Elf costume from 2003’s Elf, which scored $295,312.
Attorneys representing Elijah McClain’s family and the City of Aurora have reached an agreement that the city will pay out $15 million in the civil rights lawsuit filed over McClain’s violent arrest and subsequent death, an official briefed on the matter told ABC News.
This will be the highest police settlement in the history of Colorado, the official said.
The agreement comes over a year after the family filed a 106-page federal lawsuit in the U.S. District Court of Colorado that accused several first responders involved in the incident of violating Elijah McClain’s civil rights and causing his death.
The money will be divided between Elijah McClain’s mother and father. ABC News has reached out to their attorneys for comment.
McClain, 23, was confronted by police on Aug. 24, 2019, while walking home from a convenience store after a 911 caller told authorities they had seen someone “sketchy” in the area.
McClain was unarmed and wearing a ski mask at the time. His family says he had anemia, a blood condition that can make people feel cold more easily.
According to an independent review of his death, officers placed McClain in a carotid chokehold that restricts the carotid artery and cuts off blood to the brain.
The independent review found that McClain had pleaded with officers, crying out in pain, apologizing, and attempting to explain himself.
When EMTs arrived, he was administered a shot of 500 milligrams of ketamine and placed in an ambulance where he had a heart attack, according to officials. He died on Aug. 30, three days after doctors pronounced him brain dead and he was removed from life support, officials said.
The legal battle over McClain’s death is not over: A state grand jury filed a 32-count indictment against the three officers and two paramedics in September, accusing them of several charges, including manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide.
The defendants’ next court date is on Jan. 7, when they are expected to enter their pleas on the charges.
The Aurora Police Association Board of Directors has defended the officers, saying in a past statement: “There is no evidence that APD officers caused his death. The hysterical overreaction to this case has severely damaged the police department.”
Tamar Braxton says her home was burglarized, but surprisingly she’s “not angry” about it.
Early Wednesday morning, the singer and television personality took to Instagram to share the unfortunate news with fans, writing, “A few hours ago, this broken, bum a** man (one that I know) broke into my home and stole my safe only.”
Tamar revealed that although nothing else was stolen, the culprit “broke mirrors” and “turned my bed upside down.”
Despite having her home ravaged, the R&B singer said, “I want you to know first hand that I’m not angry. You did not break me. You did not violate me.”
“What your broken a** don’t realize that God gave me that home and EVERY single thing in it during a pandemic, & also during the time when I was all of those things. God personally put the pieces of my life back together again,” Tamar continued.
“So pumpkin, you did not steal from me. Those things you took, he will give back to me a million times fold!!! You took from God!!!” the former talk show host declared. “I know that is not a payback you are not [sic] prepared for..but get ready. This time you really did it!!”
“Im not sure you realize that I am truly a kings kid and I’m VERY special to him. So I’m sure this one he’s going to take very personally,” she concluded. “And Father, have your way – Amen.”
Tamar captioned the note, “Things hit different when you are a kings kid. Goodnight,” and added the kissing face emoji.

(NEW YORK) — The pandemic has slowed down the supply chain in many sectors, but Campbell’s CEO says he expects the company’s products to be fully available this holiday season.
Mark Clouse, CEO of Campbell’s Soup Company told “Good Morning America” a week ahead of Thanksgiving, that the company’s efforts are the result of “the amazing work of our teams on the front lines and plants and logistics and sales teams.”
“You’ll have all of your holiday favorites on the shelves ready to go. They’ve worked hard to do it and, you know, I would say plan early, but I think we’re in great shape going into the holidays,” he said.
But availability isn’t the only concern for consumers — paying more at checkout has also been a burgeoning issue nationwide.
After a full year into the pandemic, the Economic Research Service for the U.S. Department of Agriculture predicted the cost of food from grocery stores would rise 1-2% this year. The latest Consumer Price Index Summary from the Bureau of Labor Statistics found that the food-at-home index increased 1% over the month as all six major grocery store food group indexes continued to rise.
“Food-at-home” is defined by the U.S. Department of Agriculture as grocery store or supermarket food purchases.
“There’s also been a significant amount of inflation that we’ve seen over the last several months,” Clouse said. “We use every tool we’ve got to keep price affordable. We know how important it is, especially for this time of year and through holiday celebrations so we’ve worked hard to keep the prices reasonable but there has been an increase in price.”
The index for other food at home — not including meat, poultry fish or eggs — “rose 1.2% over the month, its largest monthly increase since April 2020, near the onset of the pandemic,” the BLS report stated. “Cereals and bakery products rose 1% in October following a 1.1% increase the prior month. The index for nonalcoholic beverages rose 0.8 percent in October, the index for dairy and related products rose 0.2%, and the index for fruits and vegetables advanced 0.1%.”
Clouse continued: “Inflation, I would expect to continue to see as we move forward into ’22, but count on us to be doing everything we can to find ways to keep the prices reasonable and affordable, especially through the holiday season.”
To help offset the rising production costs that could be passed on to consumers, Clouse said Campbell’s has relied on “a combination of bringing in a lot of new workers into our facilities as well as the teams performing very well.”
“I would expect as we go into ’22 you’re going to see steady improvement on that front and we’re expecting as we get into the new year to be fully back in supply on most of our products,” he added.
As shoppers head to the store before Thanksgiving, Clouse said “I’m hopeful for everybody that you have a wonderful happy Thanksgiving. My advice is get online, get your recipes, figure out those ingredients you need for your dishes, get out early to the store and get them ready to go.”
Fans will have to wait a little while longer the hear French Montana and Drake‘s song, “Splash Brothers.”
The track was set to appear on French’s upcoming album, They Got Amnesia, due out Friday, but Varietyconfirmed that Drake pulled the song out of respect for victims of the Astroworld tragedy that occurred on November 5.
It’s expected that “Splash Brothers” will appear on a deluxe or extended version of Montana’s album whenever that drops. However, some fans believe the track was taken off the project because of the Canadian rapper’s lyrics.
On Wednesday, a snippet of the song was briefly released online and featured the Certified Lover Boy rapping about being intimate with another rapper’s wife. Many assumed he may have been talking about Kim Kardashian, Kanye West‘s estranged wife, and, in light of the two recently squashing their beef, Drake decided to delay its release. Whether that was part of it Drizzy’s decision is unknown.
What is known is that Drake was a special guest at Travis Scott‘s Astroworld Festival in Houston, where 10 died and hundreds more were injured after a crowd surged the stage. Shortly after the tragedy, Drake, who is being sued along with Scott and others, took Instagram to address the matter.
“I’ve spent the past few days trying to wrap my head around this devastating tragedy… My heart is broken for the families and friends of those who lost their lives and for anyone suffering,” he wrote.
Paul Rudd isn’t letting People crowning him this year’s “Sexiest Man Alive” go to his head. In fact, He would happily relinquish his title for another more deserving: Keanu Reeves.
That was his wife’s choice, Rudd revealed to Extra at Monday night’s New York City premiere of his new movie Ghostbusters: Afterlife. “I mean come on, he’s Keanu! I would have voted for him.”
Believe it or not, the John Wick star never nabbed the title.
Meanwhile, Page Six reports Rudd hung out with his Ant-Man series co-star Bobby Cannavale and his former I Love You, Man pal-turned Brooklyn Nine-Nine lead Joe Lo Truglio in New York City on Wednesday night.
The actors had a late dinner at the restaurant Valerie in Midtown Manhattan, where the humble Ant Man star “took the time to smile and say hello to everyone,” a patron said.
