(NOTE NATURE, CONTENT) Just when you thought the idea of Kim Kardashian traveling to Staten Island to hang out with Pete Davidson was surprising enough, comes this development.
Looking to take advantage of the documented — albeit, some might say puzzling — hold Davidson apparently has on Hollywood’s leading ladies, the adult site CamSoda has crafted a sex toy in his…honor?
What’s more, the tattoo-decorated Bluetooth connected device can be synced to…go to work…whenever the heavily inked Saturday Night Live funnyman appears onscreen.
The 27-year-old comedian and actor was famously, briefly engaged to Ariana Grande, but moved on in 2018.
Since then, he’s been linked to Underworld stunner Kate Beckinsale, model Kaia Gerber, actress Margaret Qualley and — prior to making headlines with the now-single Kim K — Bridgerton‘s Pheobe Dynevor.
“Pete doesn’t have to be locked down with just Kim. We can all share a piece of the SNL stud and get to know him more intimately,” said CamSoda VP Daryn Parker.
The characteristically uplifting tune was recorded for the upcoming animated film Sing 2, in which Bono voices a rock-star lion character named Clay Calloway. The movie hits theaters this Christmas.
You can listen to “Your Song Saved My Life,” which U2 previously teased via their newly launched TikTok profile, now via digital outlets. It’s U2’s first new, original song in two years, though Bono and The Edge just contributed to a track with DJ and producer Martin Garrix called “We Are the People” earlier this year.
U2’s most recent album is 2017’s Songs of Experience.
(LAS VEGAS) — NFL wide receiver Henry Ruggs III was driving 156 mph seconds before he slammed his Corvette into the back of a Toyota SUV in Las Vegas early Tuesday morning, killing the driver, according to a police report.
Ruggs, who was released by the Las Vegas Raiders the same day as the accident, made his first court appearance on Wednesday showing visible cuts to the bridge of his nose and wearing a neck collar. The 22-year-old, who police said appeared impaired at the crash scene, has been charged with DUI resulting in death and reckless driving resulting in death. He did not enter a plea.
“It’s about choices, and if someone decides to drive under the influence, and drive in excess of 150 mph, we’re going to seek justice,” Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson said at a press conference after Ruggs’ hearing. “This is a tragic and sad day. It’s a tragedy because a woman lost her life and a lot of other people are suffering. It’s also sad and tragic that Mr. Ruggs is potentially losing an entire career and facing a stiff prison sentence.”
The 23-year-old driver of the Toyota Rav4 who died in the crash has not been identified. A dog in the vehicle also was killed, according to a police report.
The police report tells of several eyewitnesses to the accident rushing to pull the woman from the burning vehicle, but she was trapped and rescuers were unable to help her as they were overcome by smoke and flames.
Ruggs refused a field sobriety test, according to police, but prosecutor Eric Bauman said in court Wednesday that he had a blood alcohol level of 0.161% — more than twice the legal limit in Nevada.
Prosecutors also said they found a loaded handgun on the floor of Ruggs’ Corvette.
Ruggs’ passenger, Kiara Je’nai Kilgo-Washington, 22, also suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.
“Life is about choices. Mr. Ruggs made a choice,” Wolfson said. “And the difficulty I have is there’s so many alternatives. There’s ride-sharing. There’s a designated driver, there’s a taxi, there’s so many alternatives, but Mr. Ruggs made a choice and he’s going to have to live with the consequences.”
Wolfson said the minimum sentence for Ruggs would be two years, with a possible maximum of 46 years, though that could increase if gun charges are filed.
The former first-round pick, considered a rising star in the league, was leading the team in receiving yards and tied for the lead in receiving touchdowns.
Ruggs posted $150,000 bail. His next court appearance is Nov. 10.

(WASHINGTON) — President Joe Biden on Wednesday reiterated calls for his own party to move hastily on his legislative agenda following a punishing election night for Democrats.
“People want us to get things done,” Biden said when asked about former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe’s upset loss in the battleground. “They want us to get things done. And that’s why I’m continuing to push very hard for the Democratic Party to move along and pass my infrastructure bill and my Build Back Better bill.”
Democratic lawmakers appear to be feeling the pressure. On Wednesday, some said it was more urgent than ever to pass Biden’s legislative agenda, pointing to a lack of deliverables they say may have soured voters on Tuesday.
Democrats have been paralyzed on a path forward for Biden’s social spending plan and a separate massive bipartisan infrastructure bill for months. Senators say McAuliffe’s loss and the razor-thin margin in New Jersey’s gubernatorial race are voter responses to that inaction.
“Democrats let Terry down,” Virginia Democrat Tim Kaine said Wednesday. “If we had done the infrastructure and reconciliation bills in October that we will almost certainly do by the end of the month, it would have been extremely helpful to him because it would have meant that Democrats are doers, Democrats deliver things that people care about in suburban communities.”
Democrats have struggled for months to find their way out of a complex political maze they set for themselves in the face of unified Republican opposition to Biden’s social spending agenda. Earlier this year, leadership tied a $1 trillion infrastructure package that includes funding for roads, bridges, waterways and broadband, to a separate social spending package that was yet to be drafted. They vowed one would not progress without the other.
The Senate passed the $1 trillion infrastructure package in August, but it is still negotiating over the social spending package. The House has not yet held a vote on either bill as a result. It may finally vote on both packages as early as this week — too late to impact Tuesday’s election results.
Inaction on the infrastructure package has left moderate Democrats who helped negotiate the bill, like Virginia Democrat Mark Warner, wringing their hands. Warner said both packages urgently need to be passed, but he noted that the infrastructure package could have provided McAuliffe a much-needed win.
“Only in Washington could people think that it is a smart strategy to take a once-in-a-generation investment in infrastructure and prevent your president from signing that bill into law and that’s somehow a good strategy,” Warner said. “It’s not just about the substance of the bill, it’s about showing that you can govern in a way that affects people’s lives.”
Moderate Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., has been demanding a House vote on the infrastructure bill for weeks. McAuliffe’s loss is just another sign that it’s time, Manchin said Wednesday.
“The House needs to really truly pass the infrastructure bill,” Manchin said. That’s something that’s proven. That’s what they really want.”
But Manchin is perhaps the most insurmountable obstacle in the Democratic quest to pass “Build Back Better” because of his opposition to several provisions in the president’s framework, including an expansion of Medicare and paid family leave.
Manchin reiterated Wednesday concerns about cost and inflation, the same point Republicans successfully used to campaign against Biden’s agenda. But Democrats Wednesday said their losses were about a lack of deliverables, not a rejection of the overall plan.
Asked whether voters were pushing back on progressive policies, Democratic Whip Dick Durbin of Illinois said he didn’t believe so.
When it’s finally done, Durbin said he believes “America will receive it, I think, in a positive way.”
Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., diagnosed Tuesday’s losses as “failure to deliver.”
“Congress has to deliver,” Blumenthal said. “The window is closing. We have no more time. We need to get it done.”
Democrats fear that unless they can make significant movement on Biden’s policy, the Virginia race could prove to be a bellwether for the 2022 midterms.
“I’m worried not just in Virginia, I’m worried across the country,” Warner said Wednesday. “We’ve got to show that we can deliver in a pragmatic way that affects people’s lives.”
“There’s no time left,” Durbin said. “This warning to us came early enough for us to do something about it, and now we have to respond.”

Dan + Shay, who rerecorded an original song called “Pick Out a Christmas Tree,” say in a statement, “We sat down to write our song and it sort of poured out of us — it was just the soundtrack for folks going out, families, friends going to a Christmas tree farm, or going to a store down the street and picking out a Christmas tree…hopefully it brings a little joy this holiday season.”

Alt-J has released a new song called “Get Better,” a track off the band’s upcoming album The Dream.
Frontman Joe Newmandescribes “Get Better” as a “union of two songs.”
“The first an improvised song from 2018 I sang to my partner who was suffering from period pain,” Newman shares. “The second was a chord structure I worked on in lockdown that focused on someone living through a bereavement.”
“The context of the pandemic lent my words a chilling weight and gave me a new sense of responsibility as a lyricist,” he says. “Whilst the direct events described are fictional, I believe — or I hope — that it’s emotionally the most honest song I’ve written.”
You can download “Get Better” now via digital outlets. The Dream, which also features the previously released single “U&ME,” will be released February 11, 2022.
Alt-J will hit the road in support of The Dream on a tour with Portugal. the Man starting February 25 in Pittsburgh.

Ridloff as Makkari and Barry Keoghan as Druig/Marvel Studios
Lauren Ridloff may play a super-speedy, Deviant-fighting immortal named Makkari in Marvel’s Eternals, but her storyline is more human than alien.
The Tony-nominated actress, who is making history as the first deaf superhero in the MCU and is deaf herself, opened up to Good Morning America about what this role means to her — especially after she saw an ad for the movie in New York City’s Times Square.
Ridloff, who signed during the interview, as her character does in the movie, said seeing the trailer on a platform that big was “really overwhelming,” and she “started to realize the impact that this film is going to have.” She wanted to tell her own story in the role and hopes people connected to it — “whether they’re deaf, hard of hearing, Black, Mexican [or] women,” she said.
“It’s such an honor to be a part of a film like this where there’s a ton of us,” she added. “We’re so diverse and I think that a lot of people will feel seen.”
Eternals, directed by Oscar-winner Chloé Zhao, features a large ensemble cast including Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Harish Patel and Kit Harington, along with Ridloff.
Ridloff recounted a scene in which Zhao wanted to make a sonic boom sound on the set to depict how fast her character was moving and, when the assistant director offered her a pair of earplugs, she said she didn’t need them.
“It’s not always a challenge [being deaf] and sometimes it can be helpful,” she explained. “That’s a perfect moment of deaf gain.”
