Maddie & Tae only have one concert to go as they close this chapter of their lives as a duo.

The “Girl in a Country Song” hitmakers chose a fitting lyric for one of their final recordings: a cover of Phil Collins’ “You’ll Be in My Heart” from the 1999 Disney movie Tarzan.

“We’re in a really bittersweet season of life right now,” Maddie Font says, “being mamas and transitioning to different paths careerwise. And so this song just means so much to us and really, like, captures our friendship and where we’re at, just how much gratitude and love we hold for each other and our babies and this beautiful thing called life.”

As Maddie & Tae wind down their work together, Maddie will launch her solo career and focus on her son, Forrest Henry Font, who’ll be 3 in September.

Taylor Kerr plans to be a full-time mom to 4-year-old Leighton Grace Kerr and 1-year-old Chapel Shields Kerr.

You’ll find their version of “You’ll Be in My Heart” on Disney’s new Main Street Country EP.

“We love this movie, our babies love this movie, and just musically, I think it is one of the best soundtracks of all time, like of all movies,” Maddie says of Tarzan.

“So Phil Collins crushed it with that song for sure — and crushed my heart. I cry every time I hear it,” she adds.

Kane Brown and Katelyn Brown, Dasha, Breland and Restless Road are also on the Main Street Country record.

According to their website, Maddie & Tae’s final appearance will be headlining the Red Poppy Festival April 25 in Georgetown, Texas.

Disney is the parent company of ABC News and Walt Disney Records.

Tears For Fears co-founder Roland Orzabal is ready to tell his life story.

The rocker is releasing Welcome to Your Life: Love, Death, and Tears for Fears on Aug. 4, described as a “deeply personal memoir” that “explores the formative experiences and complex worldview of a creator, his creations, and his personal life.”

The book is described as an “astrological memoir,” with Orzabal, a lifelong astrology fan, using it as a tool to support the storytelling, revealing how his life has been affected by his astrological chart.

Welcome to Your Life will delve into the creation of the band with musical partner Curt Smith, and their massive success thanks to their 1985 album, Songs From The Big Chair, and hit songs like “Shout,” “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” and “Head over Heels.” It will also cover the creative and personal breakdown of their relationship, leading Tears For Fears to break up in 1991, before reuniting in 2000.

The book will also offer readers a look into Orzabal’s personal life, including his mental health struggles and the loss of his wife in 2017.

“As he reflects on love, faith, and recovery, Orzabal shows how the power of music can heal even the deepest wounds,” the description notes.

Welcome to Your Life: Love, Death, and Tears for Fears is available for preorder now.

The story of legendary Tennessee Lady Vols coach Pat Summitt is told in Breaking Glass: The Pat Summitt Story, now streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+. The documentary follows her journey through her coaching career and features many of the people she impacted. Director Dawn Porter says it also highlights an often overlooked aspect of her legacy.

“Something I think people don’t talk about enough is Pat invited a number of Black women into the University of Tennessee to play for her when that wasn’t that common,” she says. “She didn’t make a big deal of it. … She invited the best players.”

One of those players was WNBA star Candace Parker, who still carries lessons she learned under Pat’s leadership.

“I talked with Candace Parker, who played for Pat, and she said that they were required as Lady Vols to sit in the front row in the classroom. Candace says to this day, when she’s somewhere, she sits in the front row,” says executive producer Robin Roberts. “There were many life skills … that had nothing to do with basketball, but still stays with all these women … decades later.”

With so many meaningful moments embedded in the documentary, Robin hopes viewers walk away understanding how deeply Pat cared.

“I hope people will realize how much she truly cared, not just about the Tennessee Lady Vols, not just about women’s basketball, but how much she truly, truly cared and how she saw you,” she says. “When you were in front of Pat Summitt, you thought you were the only person on earth. She made you feel important. She made you feel seen and heard.”

Dawn adds, “I hope people understand that she was a leader through and through, and she just treated everybody the same. … She was not a person who was only caring about the superstars. She cared about everybody.”

The playlist is updated and includes Wednesday’s wake-up song: “Under Pressure” by Queen & David Bowie. The first song astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen heard was Young & Sick’s cover of “Sleepyhead” by Passion Pit.

That was followed by:

Freddy Jones Band: “In a Daydream”

Chappell Roan: “Pink Pony Club”

CeeLo Green: “Working Class Heroes (Work)”

Mandisa & TobyMac: “Good Morning”

Glass Animals & Denzel Curry: “Tokyo Drifting”

The Alarm has released a video for the song “Live Today,” the final clip to feature their late frontman Mike Peters, who passed away April 29, 2025, after a 31-year battle with cancer.

The track is featured on the band’s upcoming album, Transformation, which will be released May 29.

The video was filmed on a beach in the North of England just days before Peters underwent CAR-T treatment that he had hoped would beat his aggressive form of lymphoma, known as Richter’s syndrome.

“Mike lived a life of beauty and never gave up right to the very end,” says Jules Peters, the rocker’s wife and bandmate. “As the sun rose, watching Mike perform this song with so much optimism and hope will live with me forever.”

“This video is such a difficult watch,” she adds. “It broke my heart … but it captures the eternal essence of Mike Peters that keeps us coming back to him and his incredible songs time after time.”

Transformation is available for preorder now.

(NEW YORK) — Stocks closed significantly higher on Wednesday, just hours after the U.S. and Iran announced a two-week ceasefire.

The Dow Jones Industrial average surged 1,325 points, or 2.8%, while the S&P 500 climbed 2.5%. The tech-heavy Nasdaq jumped 2.8%.

As part of the accord, Iran says it will allow tankers passage through the Strait of Hormuz, a vital shipping route for oil and gas, as long as they coordinate with the nation’s military.

Investors appeared optimistic that the agreement would ease one of the worst global oil shortages in decades, though the resumption of tanker traffic in the strait remained uncertain.

U.S. oil prices plummeted nearly 15% on Wednesday, registering at about $96 a barrel. Still, the price of oil remained well above pre-war levels of about $67 a barrel.

President Donald Trump touted the ceasefire in a social media post on Wednesday, saying there would be “no enrichment of Uranium,” despite the Iranians claiming that the U.S. agreed to its plan, which includes numerous concessions.

The president added that “the United States will, working with Iran, dig up and remove all of the deeply buried (B-2 Bombers) Nuclear ‘Dust.'”

The Iranian Supreme National Security Council’s statement on Tuesday included “acceptance of enrichment” in its 10-point plan.

Investors will likely pay close attention to a potential uptick in tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.

Following Israeli attacks on Lebanon on Wednesday, oil tankers are suspended from passing through the strait, Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency reported.

Typically, scores of ships carry a fifth of the world’s oil through the strait each day, but Iran effectively closed the passage over the course of the war. That oil shortage sent crude prices soaring, and it threatened far-reaching price increases that some economists feared could tip the U.S. economy into a recession.

(PATTERSON, Calif.) — The attorney of a man who was shot in an Immigration and Customs Enforcement-involved shooting in Patterson, California, is claiming ICE attempted to arrest his client based on wrong information.

The shooting occurred on Tuesday near the I-5, when ICE Director Todd Lyons said federal officers were attempting to arrest a man they claimed was an 18th Street gang member when he “weaponized his vehicle” and attempted to run over an officer.

Lyons claimed that the suspect, later identified as Carlos Ivan Mendoza Hernandez, is wanted in El Salvador for questioning in connection with a murder.

Attorney Patrick Kolasinski said during a press conference Wednesday that he has obtained a document from the government of El Salvador that he claims proves Mendoza Hernandez was once arrested and accused of murder but was acquitted.

Kolasinski shared with reporters what appears to be a judicial document from El Salvador that says Mendoza Hernandez was acquitted of homicide in 2019.

ABC News has reached out to DHS for comment about Kolasinski’s claims. ABC News has not independently verified the authenticity of the document.

Kolasinski said Mendoza Hernandez’s family in El Salvador says he was never in a gang. The attorney also said his client has no criminal record in the United States except for a traffic ticket.

Following the shooting, Mendoza Hernandez was taken to a local hospital, according to DHS.

Kolasinski said law enforcement officials and hospital staff have not allowed him and Mendoza Hernandez’s fiancée to speak with him since the shooting.

A hospital social worker could only share that he’s in stable condition, but would not answer any other questions, they claimed during the press conference.
