Bush won’t be letting too many days go by before recording a new album.

In an interview with Australia’s May the Rock Be with You, frontman Gavin Rossdale reveals that the “Glycerine” rockers plan to have their next record finished in the coming months.

“I’ve just written 18 songs,” Rossdale says. “We start on Monday with a producer, rearrange — hopefully not too much — the stuff I’ve done. We choose the songs we’re gonna do. We either might use what I’ve started, the tracks, or we might just try nixing them and doing it fresh. Each song will dictate that.”

He adds, “It should be done by the summer, be done by May.”

Bush’s most recent album is 2020’s The Kingdom, which features the single “Flowers on a Grave.”

Meanwhile, Bush just this week announced a U.S. tour alongside Alice in Chains and Breaking Benjamin, which launches in August.

On Tuesday, Amazon announced the launch of a new live radio app, Amp, which will become home to shows by artists like Pusha TTinasheTravis BarkerNicki Minaj and more.

Alongside original radio shows from today’s biggest celebrities, app users will be able to DJ their own live radio show, using catalogs of tens of millions of licensed songs from Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group and a long list of independent music companies, such as Beggars Group, Believe, CD Baby and PIAS, according to Amazon’s statement.

“Radio has always been about music and culture,” Amp VP John Ciancutti said. “But imagine if you were inventing the medium for the first time today. You’d combine what people love about radio — spontaneous talk, new music discovery, diverse personalities, and broad programming — with all that’s made possible by today’s technology. You’d make it so anybody with a phone, a voice, and a love for music could make their own show. And that’s exactly what we’re doing.”

Amp will allow users to set up a show and go live, play hits or deep cuts, talk sports, riff on pop culture, and curate playlists, all for free.

The app is available for download starting Tuesday. An Amazon account is needed to join and use the app. Find out more at OnAmp.com.

Camila Cabello isn’t letting her recent wardrobe malfunction wreck her day. The “Havana” singer poked fun at her Monday-night incident, during which she accidentally flashed some BBC show hosts on live television.

Taking to TikTok on Tuesday, Camila mouths along to Muni Long‘s “Time Machine” while pouting and shaking her head. She added the caption, “When my stylist asked me if I wanted nip covers and I said no.”

She then cheekily added the comment, “Least they’re cute tho,” along with a razzing emoji.

Camila appeared on BBC’s The One Show on Monday to chat about her new single, “BAM BAM,” which features Ed Sheeran.  The wardrobe malfunction happened as she was answering questions from fans and was asked by the show’s host to demonstrate her favorite dance move from the music video.

Her loose shirt moved just enough to expose her breast, but Camila tried to play it off by continuing to dance and told the hosts, “I almost flashed you.” She also added, “I hope you didn’t see [anything.]”

The hosts politely said there was a wardrobe malfunction and tried moving on with the rest of the show — but not before fellow guest, comedian Alan Carr, remarked, “I’ve been a victim of cyber flashing!”

Camila replied that her mother “is in the next room” and is “possibly freaking out” about what had happened.

Camila is gearing up for the release of her upcoming third studio album, Familia, which drops April 8.

Warner Bros.

Zoë Kravitz currently starring as Selena Kyle/Catwoman in the hit movie The Batman, but ironically, she was once turned down for the same role, in 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises, for being “too urban.”

Anne Hathaway ultimately landed the part.

Kravitz revisited the raced-based slight in an interview with The Guardian, saying of Dark Knight trilogy director Christopher Nolan, “I don’t know if it came directly from Chris Nolan. I think it was probably a casting director of some kind, or a casting director’s assistant.”

She added, “Being a woman of color and being an actor and being told at that time that I wasn’t able to read because of the color of my skin, and the word ‘urban’ being thrown around like that, that was what was really hard about that moment.”

Zoë also expressed her triumph in scoring the role with director Matt Reeves — not just for her, but for other actresses of color. “It was crazy,” the 33-year-old admitted happily. “My phone was blowing up more than any birthday I’ve ever had.”

Kravitz trained for four months to play Kyle, who both tangles with and teams up with Robert Pattinson‘s Batman in the film.

“It’s a physical part. I wanted to make sure it felt believable that she was physically capable of doing all the things she was doing,” she explains. “I was actually stronger and more healthy than I’ve been in a long time.”

The actress also took in lots of footage of real cats doing their thing. “It was fun to play with different ways of walking, of being agile,” Kravitz says. “You know, you can’t read cats, which is why a lot of people feel uncomfortable around them.”

‘P-Valley’ season two coming this June

Welcome [back] to the Pynk! The long-awaited return of the hit Starz show P-Valley, is finally here.

Brandee Evans, Nicco Annan and J. Alphonse Nicholson, who play Mercedes, Uncle Clifford and Lil Murda, respectively, joined other cast members in announcing the series return in a video posted on the show’s official Instagram page.

P-Valley’s first season, which gained positive critical acclaim from many outlets, including Rotten Tomato’s 100% “fresh” rating, aired on Starz in July 2020. While there is no specific date for season two June’s release, the show’s “Pynk Posse” is beyond ready for its return.

P-Valley is a television adaptation of creator Katori Hall’s stage play of the same name. Centered around “The Pynk,” a popular Mississippi strip club, the show highlights and embraces dance culture and is based on Hall’s personal experiences, according to The Playlist.

“I actually grew up going to strip clubs, so it was just a part of Southern culture, Southern Black culture,” says Hall. “It was something that we didn’t necessarily look at in a shameful way. And I think it had a lot to do with the fact that the dancers were seen through a lens of athleticism. It wasn’t that they were just taking off their clothes, they were actually performing the Cirque du Soleil-esque skills….”

Hall told Deadline she predicted P-Valley’s success, and while it surprised executives at the network, she knew there was an audience for it.

“I would kid to the executives, ‘Yeah, the number’s going to be, like, 10 million, 20 million.’ And they were like, ‘Girl, those are Super Bowl numbers, be quiet.’ But then, boom, I was, like, ‘Nine million, good, for the first season’” the Pulitzer Prize winner said.

You can catch up on season one of P-Valley on Starz.

(NOTE LANGUAGE) Taron Egerton, star of Rocketman and the Kingsman movies, took a bow on a West End stage Monday night, days after collapsing during a performance of the Mike Bartlett‘s play C**k.

The actor was nearing the end of the preview performance Saturday night, according to patrons, when he apparently fainted. A doctor in the audience tended to Egerton, and an understudy took over for the duration of the performance after a 40-minute delay.

The next day, Egerton told fans on social media, “…I am completely fine. Slightly sore neck and a bruised ego but I’m fine.” According to People, he also added, he “would appreciate it if anyone who was in the theatre last night just said that I gave such a committed, electrifying performance that my body couldn’t handle it and I checked out.”

After Monday night’s performance, Taron cheekily said in another Instagram story, “Did the second preview, didn’t pass out, so…” flashing a thumbs-up.

The play has Edgerton playing the boyfriend of Bridgerton‘s Jonathan Bailey, who finds his relationship complicated when he falls for a woman.

Justin Bieber praised wife Hailey Bieber while performing in Los Angeles on Monday.  The “Baby” singer sweetly dedicated one of his songs to his wife of three years.

According to E! News, Justin was gearing up to perform his hit “Anyone” when he told the audience, “This next song will be dedicated to my beautiful wife.” He then cheekily joked about getting in trouble for showing Hailey some love because, apparently, she is not a fan of being “put on the spot.”

“She’s out there somewhere. She hates me when I put her on the spot. She’s probably over there blushing. She probably hates me right now,” Justin announced. “But I love her. I love you so much baby. Let’s do the damn thing!”

Seems the gesture paid off, because Hailey re-shared a video to her Instagram story of her happily singing along.  She also documented the Monday night concert and shared personal highlights to her story.

Justin is currently embarking on his Justice world tour, his first in over five years. The Grammy winner’s last outing was his Purpose world tour, which ran from 2016 to 2017.

‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill passes Florida Senate

(TALLAHASSEE, Fla.) — The Parental Rights in Education bill, dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill by LGBTQ activists, has now been passed by both the Florida Senate and House. The bill would limit what classrooms can teach about sexual orientation and gender identity.

Under this legislation, these lessons “may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.”

The bill would also allow parents to sue schools or teachers that engage in these topics.

If the bill is ultimately signed into law, it would go into effect July 1. Gov. Ron DeSantis has said he supports the bill, though he hasn’t explicitly said he will sign it if it crosses his desk.

LGBTQ activists and advocates slammed the decision to move the legislation forward, saying it will harm queer youth by shunning representation and inclusion from classrooms. They also say erasing the presence of the LGBTQ community from lessons implies students should be ashamed or should suppress their gender identity or sexual orientation.

In a recent interview on ABC News’ podcast “Start Here,” Florida state Rep. Joe Harding defended the bill, which he introduced. He said the bill would not prohibit people from talking about gender identity and sexual orientation in classrooms, as the bill once stated, but that it would ban curriculum and lessons.

“What we’re preventing is a school district deciding they’re going to create a curriculum to insert themselves,” Harding said.

He said the decision to talk about these topics should be left to the parents.

“Families are families,” Harding said. “Let the families be families. The school district doesn’t need to insert themselves at that point when children are still learning how to read and do basic math.”

The Biden administration has denounced the bill as anti-LGBTQI+.

“I want every member of the LGBTQI+ community — especially the kids who will be impacted by this hateful bill — to know that you are loved and accepted just as you are,” President Joe Biden said in a Feb. 8 Twitter post.

Similar bills have been seen in several other states including Tennessee, Indiana, Oklahoma and Kansas.
