After forcefully separating his name from Jeopardy!, following what turned out to be a pretty shady “try out” period to replace Alex TrebekLeVar Burton is getting his own game show.

The beloved Reading Rainbow Emmy winner and Star Trek: The Next Generation star will topline and produce a television version of the popular board game Trivial Pursuit, which is being produced by Hasbro-owned Entertainment One.

Trivial Pursuit is one of the best-known brands in the gaming universe,” Burton said in a statement, saying he’s “thrilled” to partner with Hasbro and its eOne.

For her part, co-producer Tara Long called Burton, “an iconic member of American pop culture for decades,” whose, “love for intellectual curiosity paired with his ability to connect with audiences worldwide make him the perfect partner…”

The show hasn’t announced a network on which it will air.

In September, Burton said on Trevor Noah‘s The Daily Show that he’d mentally moved on from the Jeopardy! situation. “The crazy thing is that when you set your sights on something…they say be careful of what you wish for, because what I found out is that it wasn’t the thing that I wanted after all,” Burton explained.

“What I wanted was to compete. I mean, I wanted the job, right? But then, when I didn’t get it, it was, like ‘Well, okay, what’s next?'”

Burton added, “The opportunities that have come my way as a result of not getting that gig, I couldn’t have dreamt it up. If you had given me a pen and paper and said, ‘Well, so what do you want this to really look like?’ If it doesn’t include Jeopardy, I wouldn’t have been this generous to myself.”

The Dr. Dre/Nicole Young divorce is becoming more bitter. She’s reportedly now asking the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department to collect over a million dollars from the iconic rapper/producer.

Young’s legal team filed court documents seeking to collect $1.2 million in past legal fees they claim to be owed, according to Radar OnLine. Young claims to have $1 million in the bank, and says she owes her lawyers over a million.

“Andre is doing whatever he wants to do because he is an enormously entitled and well-funded litigant who seeks to exact revenge on his former wife by decimating her financially leaving her without legal representation in this case,” her motion reads. She says Dre has only paid $300,000 of what she says she’s owed.

Young filed for divorce from Dre in July 2020 after 24 years of marriage. She accuses him of carrying out affairs with multiple women during their union. Dre’s net worth is estimated at $800 million. The estranged pair share a son, Truice, 24, and a daughter, Truly, 20. Dre says they signed a prenuptial agreement, but Nicole claims they tore up the prenup a couple of years into the marriage.

As previously reported, Young had papers served to the six-time Grammy winner last month at a cemetery in Los Angeles, where he was burying his grandmother

Netflix released the full trailer for its upcoming apocalyptic dark comedy, Don’t Look Up, on Monday. The movie stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep and many others– including Ariana Grande.

While Leo and Jennifer want to tell the world the end is near because of a planet-killing comet hurtling towards Earth, others don’t seem to care and continue to joke about the growing threat.

Ariana is featured in a smaller role, playing air-headed superstar Riley Bina. The trailer shows her interacting with Leo and Jennifer’s characters, the two whistleblowers who discovered the apocalyptic comet.

“You guys discovered a comet? I have a tattoo of a shooting star on my back,” Ari says in the trailer. Another scene features her suspended in the air, dressed in white, as she sings into a glittery microphone while accompanied by Kid Cudi.

Don’t Look Up premieres in select theaters on December 10 and hits Netflix on December 24.

As previously reported, both Ariana and Kid Cudi are nominated for Hollywood Music in Media Awards for their work in Don’t Look Up. In the category of Song: Feature Film, Ariana and Cudi are nominated for co-writing the movie’s title song. Ariana is up for another nomination and is also vying for Song: Onscreen Performance.
