Tyler Hubbard is a proud girl dad!

The Florida Georgia Line singer treated his four-year-old daughter, Olivia, to an adorable daddy-daughter date that included him presenting her with a bouquet of flowers. Tyler used the precious moment as an opportunity to reflect on the impact having a daughter has had on his life.

“Being a dad to a daughter has to be one of the biggest honors of my life. Watching her grow up and seeing the world through such kind, loving, empathetic eyes, truly makes me want to be a better father, husband, and friend,” the father praised, alongside a photo of him and Olivia smiling wide as she holds the beautiful bouquet. “I love this girl with all my heart. Here’s to many more daddy daughter date nights.”

Tyler and his wife Hayley welcomed Olivia in December 2017. They’ve since expanded their family with two sons: Luca, 2, and one-year-old Atlas.

Joseph Gordon Levitt will play legendary talk show host Johnny Carson in an upcoming biographical series called King of Late Night.

Deadline reports that Levitt was already in the sights of Game Change and Austin Powers series director Jay Roach and co-producer David Milch — creator of Deadwood — some years ago, as the Carson series began to take shape.

The series will be a deep dive into the Tonight Show host’s life, both onscreen and off. Levitt, who transitioned from the child actor in the long-running sitcom 3rd Rock from the Sun to become an in-demand star of hit films like Inception and The Trial of the Chicago 7, will also executive produce the series, according to the trade.

Levitt can currently be seen playing Uber CEO Travis Kalanick in the Showtime series Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber.

Judge “terminates” Amanda Bynes’ conservatorship

Amanda Bynes is now in control of her own affairs. In a brief hearing in a Los Angeles courtroom Tuesday afternoon, Ventura County Judge Roger Lund ruled in favor of terminating her conservatorship.

“The conservatorship is no longer needed or required, and therefore the petition for termination is granted,” the judge declared.

Bynes’ mother, Lynn, was put temporarily in charge of Bynes’ affairs following a 2013 incident in which the actress reportedly started a small fire in a neighbor’s driveway, which came on the heels of previous erratic behavior. After the driveway incident, Bynes was placed on a temporary psychiatric hold.

The conservatorship was reinstated in 2014, the same year Bynes revealed she’d been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

Bynes, who turns 36 on April 2, recently started an Instagram, and her now-deleted first post, weeks before today’s hearing, saw her thanking fans for her support in the matter.

Recently, Amanda’s attorney, David A. Esquibias, told People that his client “believes her condition is improved and protection of the court is no longer necessary.”

Bynes has yet to publicly comment about Tuesday’s ruling.

A change.org petition created with hopes of convincing organizers to remove Kanye West from the upcoming Coachella music and arts festival surpassed 30,000 signatures as of mid-afternoon Tuesday.

The petition demands that the rapper be removed as the Day 3 headliner due to his recent public shots at his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, and her boyfriend Pete Davidson.

“We have watched Kanye harass, manipulate, and hurt Kim, Pete, and others for over a year now. No one seems to want to stand up to him, and the ones that do, he puts under fire as well,” the petition reads. “Most recently, he has been threatening actual bodily harm on others. This is ridiculous that he is allowed to freely do this. Coachella (along with other brand names that are still working with him) should be ashamed of themselves and should not be giving him any more of a platform.”

In addition to his very vocal presence on social media regarding his divorce, Kanye has had social media squabbles with stars and entertainers such as comedian D.L. Hughley and The Daily Show host Trevor Noah over the last few weeks. The rapper also released a music video in which he tied up and buried a Claymation version of Davidson.

Because of some of the statements he’s made recently on Instagram, the social media platform last week banned him for 24 hours, while the upcoming Grammy awards have declared Kanye won’t be performing on the broadcast.

As of now Kanye is still set to perform at Coachella, heading up the April 17 & 24 shows.

Thirty Seconds to Mars will be releasing new music soon. Maybe not 30 seconds soon, but soon nonetheless.

In an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, frontman Jared Leto reveals that the band has “maybe two albums, maybe three, worth of material.”

“We’re going to start putting it out momentarily,” Leto says. “I mean, really momentarily. So really excited.”

Leto shares that he wrote a lot of new music amid the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in “about 200 songs.”

“As challenging as that time was for so many people around the world and devastating for so many, there was also a flip side to it,” Leto says. “And for both my brother [and band mate Shannon Leto] and I, I think it was like the universe doing for us what we can’t do for ourselves sort of thing, where really, it was the first time we were in one place for that long since we were little kids.”

Thirty Seconds to Mars’ most recent album is 2018’s AMERICA, which includes the singles “Walk on Water,” “Dangerous Night” and “Rescue Me.”

Meanwhile, you can catch Leto in the new Apple TV+ series WeCrashed, and in the upcoming comic book movie Morbius, premiering April 1.

Watch Anne Hathaway identify a Kelly Clarkson hit before Kelly Clarkson can

How can you tell it’s been a while since Kelly Clarkson has done an actual concert?  Perhaps by the fact that she doesn’t recognize the intro to one of her signature hits.

When actress Anne Hathaway visited The Kelly Clarkson Show on Tuesday, she and Kelly faced off in a game of “Sing That Name That Tune,” where the trick is to be the one who starts singing the song first, based on hearing the music.  In a clip posted to YouTube, as soon as Hathaway hears a drumbeat, she immediately launches into a note-perfect rendition Kelly’s 2004 smash “Since U Been Gone.”

Kelly proceeds to fall to her knees, and cries, “How did you know it from just that? She knew it from ‘boom boom boom boom boom!'”

Hathaway then says, “Kelly Clarkson, if you do not understand how much we all love that song…everybody here knew it on the first one. Everybody here knew it!”

“S***!” yells Kelly. “Should I just quit? This is embarrassing!”

The clip ends with Hathaway ahead of Kelly by a score of four-zip, as the host notes, “May I remind you, Kelly Clarkson just missed her own song!”

To which Kelly responds — quoting a song by another American Idol winner — “Jesus take the wheel!”

The track also will appear on Soft Cell’s upcoming studio album, *Happiness Not Included, the duo’s first collection of new songs in 20 years, which is due out on May 6.

Pet Shop Boys initially planned to just create a remix of “Purple Zone” for Soft Cell after seeing the latter act perform the song at a 2021 concert, but as they worked on the track it wound up becoming a full-on collaboration.

Soft Cell frontman Marc Almond says of the collaboration, “Working with the Pet Shop Boys was a pleasure, and this track is the perfect combination of us and them,” while his band mate, Dave Ball, notes, “‘Purple Zone’ is probably our finest pop moment since the early 1980s.”

Pet Shop Boys add, “We are thrilled to collaborate with such an inspirational duo as Soft Cell on this gorgeous song.”

Disney employees stage walkout to demand action against ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill

(ORLANDO, Fla.) — LGBTQ workers and employee allies at The Walt Disney Company staged a walkout in protest of Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill, dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill by opponents.

Some employees have been walking out each day since March 15 from 3 to 3:15 p.m.

On Tuesday, more than 100 employees in different parts of the company joined a full-length walkout and protest.

“The Walt Disney Company’s (TWDC) LGBTQIA+ community and their allies are determined to take a stand against TWDC’s apathy in the face of the bigoted ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill put forth by the FL state legislature,” the protest’s website states.

“The recent statements and lack of action by TWDC leadership regarding the ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill have utterly failed to match the magnitude of the threat to LGBTQIA+ safety represented by this legislation,” the website says.

Opponents of the bill say it would shame and silence LGBTQ youth and could have major negative consequences on their mental health.

The bill prohibits instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity from kindergarten to third grade and would limit or prohibit what classrooms can teach about sexual orientation and gender identity in other grades unless they are “age appropriate or developmentally appropriate,” a threshold criticized as vague by the bill’s opponents. It would also allow parents to sue schools that engage in these topics.

Disney CEO Bob Chapek has been criticized for his response to the bill, first for his silence on the legislation and later for not outright condemning the bill in his public statements.

Chapek has since said he would pledge $5 million to groups advocating for LGTBQ+ rights and protections and added that he has contacted Gov. Ron DeSantis’ office in opposition of the bill. He also said political donations in Florida will be paused pending review for any connection to the bill.

“We are hard at work creating a new framework for our political giving that will ensure our advocacy better reflects our values,” Chapek said in an email to Disney employees. “I am committed to this work and to you all, and will continue to engage with the LGBTQ+ community so that I can become a better ally.”

Several Disney companies have released statements of support on social media amid the March 22 walkout, including ABC News, Disney Plus, Walt Disney World, Pixar and more.

Some Disney figures, including ESPN sports anchor Elle Duncan, have shown support for the walkouts during televised broadcasts.

According to Duncan, ESPN employees have also been participating in the daily walkouts. Duncan herself took a moment of silence during her broadcast in protest.

“We understand the gravity of this legislation and also how it is affecting so many families across this country, and because of that our allyship is going to take a front seat, and with that, we’re going to pause in solidarity,” Duncan said.

ESPN’s Carolyn Peck and Courtney Lyle also remained silent for two minutes in solidarity with their coworkers during the Women’s NCAA Tournament.

“A threat to any human rights is a threat to all human rights,” Peck said during the March 18 broadcast.

In a list of demands on the protest website, organizers demand that Disney “immediately and indefinitely cease all campaign donations” to politicians linked to the bill and “commit to an actionable plan” that could protect employees from discriminatory legislation.

Organizers also ask that the company reaffirms its commitment to LGBTQ employees and communities, make contributions to human rights advocacy groups and allocate spending and resources to invest in LGBTQ representation.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of ABC News.

Report: Beyoncé in talks to perform at the upcoming Oscar Awards

If a Variety report that Queen Bey is planning an Oscar performance comes to be true, then the 94th Academy Awards will be one you definitely won’t want to miss.

According to the media outlet, “Beyoncé‘s camp has been in deep talks with producers” to organize an iconic performance of her track “Be Alive,” which is nominated in the Music (Original Song) category and is featured in the Best Picture-nominated film King Richard.

The plan, according to a few people with knowledge of the talks, is to mount a satellite performance of the song — one that would possibly open the show — and broadcast live from tennis courts in Compton, California. The location is where sports legends Venus and Serena Williams practiced drills growing up under the supervision and instruction of their father, Richard Williams

There is even discussion to have Will Smith, who plays Richard in the film, appear onsite with Beyoncé and then make his way to Hollywood in time for the announcement of the winner of the Best Actor honor, for which he’s nominated.

If true, this will be the fourth time Beyoncé performs at the Oscars; if she wins, she will take home her first-ever Academy Award.

The heartwarming song “Be Alive” was co-written by Beyoncé and Roc Nation producer/writer Dixson.
