The Godfather of Funk is not quite ready for retirement! George Clinton is hitting the road with Parliament Funkadelic this summer for the One Nation Under a Groove tour.

Camila Cabello and Lizzo are both returning to Saturday Night Live next month.
Camila will make her second appearance on SNL as a musical guest on April 9. Her new album, Familia, drops April 8. The guest host that night will be Jake Gyllenhaal. Hmm…Camila and Taylor Swift are friends, so things might get awkward.
Meanwhile, Lizzo will both host and perform on April 16. It’ll be her second time as a musical guest, but her first time hosting. She’s promoting her Prime Video reality competition series Watch Out for the Big Grrls, which debuts March 25.
For NBC’s American Song Contest, debuting tonight, artists representing all 50 U.S. states, plus five territories and the District of Columbia, will compete to win America’s votes for the best song. Representing the great state of Connecticut is none other than Michael Bolton, and his entry in the contest is available for you to check out now.
The song is called “Beautiful World” — an upbeat, positive song about looking forward to a brighter tomorrow. Michael sings, “All our needs, our hopes and our dreams, still waiting on an open door/I see a spark of light in the dark we’ll be stronger than before.”
“We gotta love like we’ve never been hurt/we’ve gotta rise like we’ve never been burned/and after all of the lessons we’ve learned, we’re gonna make this a beautiful world,” Michael sings. Later in the song, he spells it out: “When we come together/everything’s gonna be much better.”
Michael will be among 11 artists who will perform their original songs tonight for the live studio audience, the viewers, and hosts Kelly Clarkson and Snoop Dogg. If that seems an odd pairing, it turns out the two first met nearly 20 years ago.
Kelly tells Entertainment Tonight, “Well, I don’t remember what award show it was, but it was a long time ago. It was early 2000s, right after I ended up winning Idol, and I was performing at a show and [Snoop and I] passed each other and he said my name…I was like, ‘You know my name?’ I was freaking out. I thought it was so cool.”
NBC’s American Song Contest premieres tonight at 8 p.m. ET.

“The Outlaw Music Festival Tour has always been about family and friends coming together for a great day of music and fun, and with the amazing group of artists joining us, this year promises to be our most special Outlaw Tour to date,” Willie says. “I just can’t wait to get back on the road again.”
Red Hot Chili Peppers hail from Los Angeles and now they will be honored in their home city with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame during a ceremony that will take place on Thursday, March 31.
The band had previously been announced to receive a Walk of Fame star in 2008 but never set a date to accept the honor.
“Our hometown Hollywood boys are finally coming to collect their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” says Walk of Fame Producer Ana Martinez. “We have been waiting for them to break away from their busy schedules to dedicate their star and we are thrilled to welcome them to our Walk of Fame family.”
A number of celebrities will be on hand to help the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers unveil their star, including actor Woody Harrelson, funk legend George Clinton — who produced the Chili Pepers’ 1985 album Freaky Styley — and Thelonius Monster frontman and addiction counselor Bob Forrest. The ceremony will be livestreamed at WalkofFame.com.
On April 1, one day after the Red Hot Chili Peppers unveil their star, they will release their latest studio album, Unlimited Love.
In a cover feature in the upcoming issue of Men’s Health, Oscar-winning actor and seemingly tireless 30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto gets real about his motivations.
When asked about juggling the titles of both movie star and rock star, Leto tells the magazine, “I’m impatient, and I guard my time really well. And that’s probably why I’m able to do multiple things and achieve some of my goals with those things.”
He also adds the caveat, “If you want to achieve greatly, I can tell you how, but it may not be what you want. I’ve…achieved some goals in my life, and it’s been a beautiful thing. But there’s a price you pay for all of it…”
While admitting balance is important in life, Leto also comments, “Why would you ever wanna settle?”
As for staying in share, for Leto, no amount of gym time compares to being on stage. “I’d put it somewhere between amateur bowling and . . . Usain Bolt,” he comments.
“[Y]ou’re up there having a good time, but it’s full on for a couple of hours. You’re singing and running around, you have so much adrenaline, and you’re performing at your limit. Your heart is pounding outta your chest, you’re dripping sweat, and you’re exhilarated, but you’re working your body in a really intense way.”
That said, the 50-year-old star isn’t sharing any secrets about keeping his looks. “I do have a good answer for that, but I probably won’t tell you. Just to keep everybody guessing,” he quips, adding, “honestly, at the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter.”
Leto can now be seen in the Apple TV+ series WeCrashed, and will soon be seen in theaters in Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man universe movie, Morbius.

Pusha T has some beef with McDonald’s.
The rapper just released a “diss track” against the fast food chain in collaboration with Arby’s. On the track, he touts Arby’s new spicy fish sandwich as being superior to McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish. If you’ll remember, Pusha originally helped launch the “I’m Lovin’ It” campaign for McDonald’s, which probably makes the diss sting just that much more.
“I’m the reason the whole world love it/Now I gotta crush it/Filet-O-Fish is s***/And you should be disgusted/How dare you sell a square fish asking us to trust it,” he raps.
“Arby’s crispy fish is simply it/With lines ‘round the corner we might need a guest list,” Pusha adds on the track.
“Just dropped a diss track with @Arbys. Grab some popcorn and a Spicy Fish Sandwich,” Pusha posted on social media, adding the hashtags, “#ArbysSpicyFishDissTrack #ArbysPaidMeButIWouldSayThisAnyway.”
Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason‘s current band, Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets, has announced rescheduled dates for its 2022 North American tour, which originally was supposed to have taken place in January and February before being postponed because of “uncertainty surrounding the [COVID-19] pandemic.”
The rescheduled trek, dubbed The Echoes Tour, now will kick off on September 22 in Boston, and is mapped out through a November 1 concert in Vancouver, Canada.
The outing now features 28 dates, eight of which are taking place in the following newly added cities: Columbus, Ohio; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Detroit; Buffalo, New York; Indianapolis; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Austin, Texas; and Santa Barbara, California. Six previously announced dates won’t be rescheduled.
Tickets for the new shows go on sale to the general public this Friday, March 25, at 10 a.m. local time.
Previously purchased tickets for rescheduled concerts that will be held at the same venue that was originally announced will be valid for the new dates. Ticket holders for shows that are being moved to different venues will receive automatic refunds and also will be offered access to an exclusive pre-sale for tickets to the rescheduled date at the new venue. More information will be sent via email to ticket holders soon. For any other questions about ticketing inquiries, please contact the point of purchase.
“We are really looking forward to returning to North America and we’re happy to be able to now announce these new dates for later this year,” says Mason. “We wanted to make sure to come back when it’s safe for our fans, the band, and our crew.”
Saucerful of Secrets also will be touring from April through July this year in Ireland, the U.K. and mainland Europe.
Disney+ just dropped a TV spot for its upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series, and while it doesn’t show much in the way of new footage that hasn’t already been seen in its trailer, the spot closes with a shot of the man in black: Darth Vader.
The closing seconds of the spot shows Vader igniting his red lightsaber, as his iconic breathing can be heard.
As reported, Hayden Christensen is returning as the fallen student of Ewan McGregor‘s titular Jedi master, and the actor has teased the pair will cross lightsabers at some point in the show, which takes place 10 years after the events of Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith.
That film closed with a defeated Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader being fitted with his fearsome black suit to save his life, following a duel to the death with his battle brother and former teacher. The film juxtaposes that
“birth” with the death of Anakin’s love, Padme Amidala, who dies giving birth to their twins, Luke and Leia. Obi-Wan vows to watch over young Luke as he grows up on Tatooine, which is apparently what the series is about — which also sees the Empire dispatching its fearsome Inquisitors to hunt down the remaining Jedi.
The only other shot of significance in the commercial is a glimpse of Anakin’s old lightsaber, which Kenobi kept safe until passing it to a 19-year-old Luke in Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope.
Obi-Wan Kenobi debuts May 25th, the anniversary of the original film’s release in 1977.
