Rihanna and her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, are enjoying their roles as new parents to their baby boy, a source close to the couple tells People.

“Being a new parent is of course an adjustment, but they are doing great. Their baby boy is healthy and Rihanna is just in awe of him,” the source dishes. “She really was so excited to be pregnant. She loved it. Meeting her son was of course extremely special too.”

According to the source, Rihanna “barely leaves [the baby’s] side,” adding, “She is a fantastic mom … She enjoys sitting outside with her baby.” The fashion icon and singer “very much enjoys spending quiet time with her baby” and “doesn’t seem rushed to get back to work.”

Rih and Rocky announced in January that they were expecting their first child by debuting her growing baby bump in a series of photographs. She then proceeded to take maternity fashion to a whole new level, covering Vogue in a skin-tight bodysuit and showing off her belly at red carpet events.

Laura Dern, Sam Neill say their ‘Jurassic Park’ relationship was “inappropriate”

While 1993’s blockbuster Jurassic Park is universally thought of as a family-friendly film, two of its stars now say there was something “inappropriate” about it.

That is to say, Laura Dern‘s paleobotanist Dr. Ellie Sattler and her love interest, Sam Neill‘s paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant, were quite the May-December romance.

“I am 20 years older than Laura! Which at the time was a completely appropriate age difference for a leading man and lady,” Neill tells the Sunday Times.

“And it was only now, when we returned in a moment of cultural awareness about the patriarchy, that I was, like, ‘Wow! We’re not the same age?'” added Dern.

However, the actress commented, “Well, it felt completely appropriate to fall in love with Sam Neill.”

Neill joked to the paper, “It never occurred to me until I opened a magazine and there was an article called ‘Old Geezers and Gals.’ People like Harrison Ford and Sean Connery acting with much younger people. And there I was, on the list. I thought, ‘Come on. It can’t be true.'”

In their defense, the characters were closer in age in the late Michael Crichton‘s original Jurassic Park novel.

Dern, 55, and Neill, 77, reunite with other Jurassic Park original stars Jeff Goldblum and BD Wong, as well as Jurassic World‘s Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, in June’s Jurassic World Dominion.

The Universal Pictures film opens June 10.

The xx vocalist and bassist Oliver Sim has released a new solo song, “Hideous,” and, in doing so, publicly shared for the first time that he was diagnosed with HIV at age 17.

“I’ve lived with my status since I was 17,” Sim, 32, writes in a statement accompanying the “Hideous” video. “It’s played with how I’ve felt towards myself and how I’ve assumed others have felt towards me, from that age and into my adult life.”

Sim shares that he wrote “Hideous” “quite impulsively” and intended to “release it into the world and be done with it,” but, on the advice of his mother, decided to have “conversations with people in my life first.”

“Either people I hadn’t told yet or people I had told but hadn’t wanted to talk much further on it,” Sim says. “I’ve spent the past two years since writing ‘Hideous’ having those conversations, which was difficult and uncomfortable to start with but has allowed me to feel a lot freer and has only strengthened the relationship with myself and with the people in my life.”

Sim also reached out to Scottish pop singer Jimmy Somerville, who’s long been an advocate for those with HIV and AIDS. The two developed a friendship, and Somerville is featured on “Hideous.”

“‘Am I hideous?’ no longer feels like a question I’m asking to the outside world but rather a counter active one for myself,” Sim writes. “Scary as it still feels, I’m excited to share this music with you and I hope you enjoy it.”

“Hideous” will appear on Sim’s upcoming debut solo album Hideous Bastard, due out September 9. It also includes the previously released songs “Romance with a Memory” and “Fruit.”

The first trailer for the upcoming official David Bowie documentary film Moonage Daydream has debuted at Bowie’s official YouTube channel.

The promo features a variety of clips of Bowie performing live during different periods throughout his career, as well as segments from some of his music videos and films. It includes a voice-over of Bowie saying, “All people, no matter who they are, wish they’d appreciated life more. It’s what you do in life that’s important, not how much time you have … or what you wish you’d done. Life is fantastic.”

The trailer’s arrival comes just in advance of Moonage Daydream‘s premiere, which, according to Variety, is taking place tonight, May 23, at the Cannes Film Festival’s “Midnight Screenings” section.

As previously reported, Moonage Daydream was written and directed by Brett Morgen and is the first film to be officially sanctioned by Bowie’s estate. The movie is described as “a sublime kaleidoscopic experiential cinematic odyssey that explores Bowie’s creative, spiritual, and philosophical journey.”

Moonage Daydream includes previously unseen footage and performances, as well as unheard music, and will feature Bowie’s own narration. The film includes 47 musical tracks, mixed from the original recordings. Bowie’s longtime friend, collaborator and co-producer Tony Visconti is serving as the musical producer of the project.

According to the caption for the trailer on YouTube, Moonage Daydream will get its premiere in cinemas worldwide in September.

Billboard recently reported that the movie will get its TV premiere on HBO and HBO Max in the spring of 2023.

The third set of “I dos” vowed by Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker on Sunday was to die for.

The couple, who had a Las Vegas wedding in April and then jumped the broom officially in a private ceremony in Santa Barbara, California, a few weeks later, were apparently warming up for their nuptials at a lavish ceremony and reception in Portofino, Italy, on Sunday.

Kourtney wore a Dolce & Gabbana wedding dress with an enormous train to the ceremony before changing into a short black number for the after-party — all the better to hit the dance floor. Travis, for his part, wore a traditional black tux to the ceremony, and a swishier, almost pajama-like outfit with sunglasses for the reception.

According to the Instagram Stories from Alabama, the Blink 182 drummer’s 16-year-old daughter, the couple cut the rug to hits from the Jackson 5, and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” and “Crazy in Love” by Beyoncé. The happy couple also swayed to Etta James‘ “At Last.”

According to Page Six, the star-studded celebration ran into Monday morning.

Now that Halsey has gone viral by claiming that their record label demanded a “fake viral moment on TikTok” as a condition for them releasing their new song, the label has responded.

As previously reported, Halsey claimed on TikTok that they “have a song that I love that I want to release ASAP, but my record label won’t let me….unless they can fake a viral moment on TikTok.”

Now, Halsey’s label, Astralwerks-Capitol, responded in a statement to Variety, saying, “Our belief in Halsey as a singular and important artist is total and unwavering. We can’t wait for the world to hear their brilliant new music.”

Meanwhile, following their TikToks, Halsey updated Twitter with tons more details about the song and their quest to release it. They wrote, “Talked to my label tonight after my tiktok tantrum. They said ‘wow the tiktok is going really strong!’ I was like ok cool so can I release my song now? They said ‘we’ll see!’  tell me again how I’m making this up.”

“I’m way too established to stir something like this up for no reason or resort to this as a marketing tactic but now I’m in too deep so there’s no going back,” they added, writing, “at this point i don’t know what to do because I told the truth about what’s happening and now I STILL don’t have a release date AND some of you think I’m lying about this whole fiasco. so I’m double f***ed.”

Responding to fans, Halsey revealed that the song is about their partner Alev, and that they can’t simply release the song on their own because the label “owns the master.” According to Halsey, the song’s been ready for a month, and the video is finished, as well.
