On Tuesday, Britney Spears‘ former husband Jason Alexander pleaded not guilty to charges connected with his alleged attempt to crash her wedding last month, Page Six reports.

Alexander was arraigned Tuesday in Ventura County Superior Court. He entered a not guilty plea to counts of felony stalking with a prior domestic violence conviction and three misdemeanor counts of aggravated trespassing, refusing to leave private property, vandalism and battery.

On top of that, he faces a “special enhancement charge” — not a good thing — because at the time of his arrest, he was on probation for an unrelated case in Tennessee.  He denied those allegations during the arraignment.

Prior to Britney’s June 9 wedding to Sam Asghari, Alexander allegedly broke into Britney’s house in Thousand Oaks, California, and, according to a security guard, tried several times to open the door to the singer’s locked bedroom. Police found he was armed with a box cutter at the time of his arrest.

After Alexander’s arrest, Britney was granted a restraining order and, according to Page Six, fired her security team.

Britney and Alexander, her childhood friend, married in Las Vegas in 2004; the marriage was annulled 55 hours later.

Mariah Carey‘s ex-husband Nick Cannon has been making the rounds, speaking openly on personal life topics during multiple podcast appearances and interview opportunities. For his latest sit-down chat, he told The Hot Tee Talk Show that if the opportunity presented itself, he’d for sure take another stab at a relationship with Mariah.

When asked if he’d “spin the block” with some of his former loves, he told the host he’d “of course” try again with the mother of his twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

“I truly respect the relationship that she’s been in for quite some time,” he said. “But that — come on, that’s my fantasy love. That’s somebody I will always love.”

Cannon gushed about his marriage with the Grammy-winning singer. “I will never have a love like I had with Mariah. And I appreciate,” he said.

If Cannon were to try to rekindle things with Carey, he’d want the relationship to be what it once was. “It was literally like a fairytale with Mariah,” he said. “I’d rather it just be that way — I appreciate that fantasy because if I tried to go back and it wasn’t the same, [I’d feel like,] ‘G**damn, I messed it up.’ But if it could be the way that it was, I’m there!”

Carey and Cannon married in the Bahamas in 2008, welcomed twins in 2011 and were together for eight years. They divorced in 2016.

Judge rejects motion to declare a mistrial in Johnny Depp defamation case

Judge rejects motion to declare a mistrial in Johnny Depp defamation case

Amber Heard was served another legal defeat in a Fairfax, Virginia, courtroom on Wednesday.

Judge Penny Azcarate, who presided over the headline-grabbing defamation case between Johnny Depp and his ex-wife, rejected a motion from Heard’s attorneys to declare a mistrial.

Heard’s legal team’s argument centered on the fact that the age listed on Juror #15’s jury summons was inaccurate.

On Wednesday, the judge denied their motion, stating there was no fraud in the case and so the verdict should stand.

“The juror was vetted, sat for the entire jury, deliberated and reached a verdict,” read Azcarate’s ruling in a filing obtained by ABC News.

“The only evidence before this Court is that this juror and all jurors followed their oaths, the Court’s instructions and orders. This court is bound by the competent decision of the jury,” the ruling concluded.

Further, Azcarate argued that if the defense had an issue with the juror, her attorneys should have brought it up earlier.

As reported in June, the jury decided that Heard defamed Depp in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed in which she said she had been a victim of physical and sexual abuse in her relationship, though she did not identify Depp. The jury agreed with Depp’s attorneys that although the actor wasn’t named in the op-ed, which had been vetted by attorneys before it was published, it was clear who Heard was accusing.

Depp was awarded $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages, though Virginia law automatically caps the latter to $350,000.

Heard is expected to appeal the verdict after it is finalized.

Kane Brown‘s wife, Katelyn Brown, launched her own wine brand in 2022 and the message behind it is rooted in family.

The company, Allen Rose, gets its name from the couples’ middle names, Allen (Kane) and Rose(Katelyn). “We have sat on this name for years knowing it would represent something special,” Katelyn says on the website

She also honors their two daughters with a rosé named after eldest daughter Kingsley and a white wine for youngest daughter Kodi. The Kingsley Rosé features a fruity blend of strawberry, pomegranate and dragonfruit, and pairs nicely with a fish dish or refreshing salad, while the Kodi Pinot Gris blends pear and floral hibiscus with tropical notes of guava and passion fruit.

“Family & friends mean the most in our lives and coming from a family where sitting around a table with a glass of wine created some of the best memories and beautiful conversations, really encouraged me to create something special and delicious to continue those traditions,” Katelyn says of why she started the wine collection. “I cannot wait for you to try these wines, and let me know what memories and pairings you create.”

You can order bottles of Allen Rose online through Apolloni Vineyards

Dolly Parton inspired Monica to make a country album

Back in April, at the 2022 CMT Music Awards, fans got the collaboration they never knew they needed when Jimmie Allen and Little Big Town shared the stage with R&B legend Monica for a rendition of her song “Pray.”

Now, Monica’s got a full-blown country album in the works, which she says she’s been working on with Brandi Carlile. The project, called Open Roads, might seem like a left turn for the singer — but it actually dates back to her decadeslong Dolly Parton fandom.

“My Dolly Parton obsession began — and it hasn’t ended — and what it was, was that my love for my family is really my connection to her,” Monica tells ET Online.

“I was in her park [Dollywood] at about 10 years old, and the lady working told me, ‘Well, I’m Dolly’s first cousin and she gives us a job, a car and an apartment. It’s amazing,’” the singer recounts. “So when I met her and I realized all of these people are related to her and she built all of this, it really helps her family and community, that’s when my love for her began in country music.”

Of course, Dolly is a dream collaborator for Monica’s album, but she’s not the only one: The singer also names Mickey Guyton and Chris Stapleton as people in the country genre who she’d love to work with.

Sean Paul teams up with Gwen Stefani for new song “Light My Fire”

Sean Paul teams up with Gwen Stefani for new song “Light My Fire”
Fernando Hevia

Sean Paul is back and is getting a little help from his friend Gwen Stefani in his new and nostalgic-themed music video, “Light My Fire.”

The clip dropped Wednesday, which sees the pair — and a bunch of women — hanging out at a house party. While Gwen is downstairs while everyone is grooving to the music, Sean is upstairs and flirting with a woman — who’s dressed in a glittery dress — who’s sitting in a bathtub.

Gwen has her hair twisted into a top knot with blond dreads spilling out from either side, and she’s dressed in the colors of the Jamaican flag.

The song’s third collaborator, Shenseea, then makes her dramatic entrance and the party steps on the gas — the drinks start pouring and people begin lighting up. The video ends with someone throwing meat on the grill as it erupts into flames.

“‘Light My Fire’ is an epic dream come [true],” Sean said of his new music video in a press release. “I’ve been a fan of Gwen Stefani forever and Shenseea — I am so proud of all she’s accomplished in such a short time.”

He continued, “‘Light My Fire’ is a big, bad lovers rock song and we had to represent it with a big, bad video. We went retro on the attire in the video, and basically getting ready to party and some lovers rocking. It’s a vibe we hope everyone gets when they listen to the track — feel good and party lovers rock style.”

“Light My Fire” can be heard off Sean’s new album, Scorcha, which is out now. You can also catch the trio performing the new song Wednesday night on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, which begins airing at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC.
