Elvis Presley‘s famous Memphis mansion, Graceland, has announced plans for the virtual edition of this year’s Elvis Week event, which coincides annually with the anniversary of the late King of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s death.

Among the scheduled shows is the “Elvis Presley in Concert” event, which features footage of Elvis on the big screen accompanied by a live group, including guitarist James Burton, piano player Glen Hardin and bassist Jerry Scheff of Elvis’ TCB Band, plus a special appearance by Presley’s ex-wife, Priscilla Presley.

There will also be two “Conversations on Elvis” interview sessions, featuring such special guests as I Dream of Jeannie‘s Barbara Eden, who appeared with Presley in the 1960 film Flaming Star, and Elvis’ Memphis Mafia  entourage member Jerry Schilling.

Three different packages are available for Virtual Elvis Week, offering access to various events. You can purchase the packages at VirtualElvisWeek.com, while tickets to the in-person Elvis Week festivities are available at Graceland.com.

Elvis Week also will feature the traditional candlelight vigil held on the eve of the anniversary of Elvis’ August 15, 1977, death and running until the morning hours of August 16. As usual, the vigil will be streamed live for free at Livestream.com.

While generally considered an “album” band, Emerson, Lake & Palmer did release singles throughout their long career, and now, a new vinyl box set featuring a dozen 45-rpm seven-inch discs replicating various U.S., U.K. and international singles is due out August 26.

The collection, simply titled Singles, features the discs housed in reproduced, original picture sleeves and comes packaged with a booklet boasting detailed notes, rare photos of the U.K. prog-rock trio and a foreword by ELP drummer Carl Palmer. Also included are art cards inspired by the singles’ sleeves.

The box set, which features songs spanning from 1971 to 1992, is being released in celebration of ELP’s 50th anniversary. All of the tracks have been remastered by respected studio engineer Andy Pearce.

Among the songs included in the collection are such ELP classics as “Lucky Man,” “C’est La Vie,” “Jerusalem” and the band’s biggest U.S. hit, “From the Beginning,” which reached #39 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1972. The box set also features the single-edit version of ELP’s adaptation of Aaron Copland‘s “Fanfare for the Common Man,” which peaked at #2 on the U.K. chart in 1977.

“This box set of singles is very important to the development of ELP,” Palmer says. “The music that you will hear opened the door to radio around the world, and then the musical concept of ELP was born.”

‘Euphoria”s Martha Kelly still in shock over Emmy nomination

Karen Ballard/HBO Max

For four seasons, Martha Kelly played nerdy Costco insurance adjuster Martha Brooks on FX’s Emmy-winning comedy Baskets, but on Tuesday she snagged an Emmy nomination in the Guest Actress category for playing a very different character.

In Euphoria, the stand-up comedian and actress with a famously droll delivery was cast against type as Laurie, a ruthless drug dealer. She tells ABC Audio that ironically, considering the accolade, she needed some convincing from the series’ creator that she could nail the part.

“I think Sam Levinson just wrote a really scary character who’s like a mild-mannered sociopath,” she deadpans. “In real life, I think those people are rare, but they can do a lot of damage, you know? Because people don’t think they’re actually scary.”

The second season of the show has Zendaya‘s drug-addicted Rue in a very dangerous debt to Laurie, and Laurie’s threats to her — no matter how disturbing — are made more so because they sound like they’re coming from a soft-spoken soccer mom.

A day after the nomination, Kelly says she still in shock.

“It still doesn’t seem real, and that’s probably good,” she admits with a laugh. “I mean…I think it would be weird to be like, ‘Oh, yeah, cool. I deserve it.’ Like, that would be a weird response.”

She adds, “It just seems unreal…It’s like Euphoria and all the regular cast are so talented and the crew is so talented and they got all these nominations. And I feel like it’s a party bus that I’m like holding on to the back bumper, riding a skateboard behind.”

Kelly says, “It’s so fun. I feel really lucky.” (AUDIO IS ABC 1-ON-1)

Incidentally, Kelly can also be seen on another nominated HBO show, the comedy Hacks.

On Tuesday, Britney Spears‘ former husband Jason Alexander pleaded not guilty to charges connected with his alleged attempt to crash her wedding last month, Page Six reports.

Alexander was arraigned Tuesday in Ventura County Superior Court. He entered a not guilty plea to counts of felony stalking with a prior domestic violence conviction and three misdemeanor counts of aggravated trespassing, refusing to leave private property, vandalism and battery.

On top of that, he faces a “special enhancement charge” — not a good thing — because at the time of his arrest, he was on probation for an unrelated case in Tennessee.  He denied those allegations during the arraignment.

Prior to Britney’s June 9 wedding to Sam Asghari, Alexander allegedly broke into Britney’s house in Thousand Oaks, California, and, according to a security guard, tried several times to open the door to the singer’s locked bedroom. Police found he was armed with a box cutter at the time of his arrest.

After Alexander’s arrest, Britney was granted a restraining order and, according to Page Six, fired her security team.

Britney and Alexander, her childhood friend, married in Las Vegas in 2004; the marriage was annulled 55 hours later.
