Ariana Grande welcomed some old pals to her recent string of concerts in the LA area.

Ari posted to Instagram a carousel of photos from her Eternal Sunshine tour, and one of them showed her posing and smiling with Elizabeth Gillies and Matt Bennett, two of her co-stars on the Nickelodeon show Victorious. There were also photos of her posing individually with Elizabeth and Matt.

All three appeared on Victorious from 2010 to 2013, with Ari playing Cat Valentine, Elizabeth playing Jade West and Matt playing Robbie Shapiro. Also in the cast were Leon Thomas III, who’s now a Grammy-winning musician, and Avan Jogia, who’s now engaged to Halsey.

After attending the concert, Elizabeth wrote on Instagram, “You’ve always been a visionary who stayed true to herself and poured herself completely into her art and this tour is no exception. It’s spectacular, visually stunning, deeply immersive and made me feel like I was watching a movie. It also made me feel like I was watching an artist at the top of her game.”

“I’ll never understand how that voice comes out of you so perfectly and effortlessly every night but it definitely does. You were born to do this and nobody does it like you. Nobody could,” she concluded.

Ariana responded in the comments, “oh my f****** goodness liz i am sobbing at this.” She added, “my sweet, my dearest, my dingus, my friend, i love you so much always.”

Ari’s next concert is Wednesday in Austin, Texas.

Could a top-10 album inspire Keith Urban to cut another record of yacht rock tunes?

If so, he’s well on his way to a sequel, as flow state debuts at #7 on Billboard‘s Top Album Sales chart.

With versions of everything from Seals & Crofts’ “Summer Breeze” to Player’s “Baby Come Back,” the record includes 10 covers. There are guest spots by Little Big Town and John Mayer, in addition to Michael McDonald on the album’s sole original track, “We Go Back.”

All the originals covered in flow state were top-20 hits on the Hot 100 between 1972 and 1981.

Earlier, Keith told Billboard if “there’s any reason to do a second (album), I literally have the 10 songs picked out already.”

flow state debuts at #12 on Top Country Albums and #57 on the all-genre Billboard 200.

Greta Van Fleet is teasing a new song.

The “Highway Tune” rockers have shared a video from the studio on Facebook, jamming a track that begins as a quieter, piano-based tune before the guitar and drums kick in.

“A love song we were born to give,” the post’s caption reads.

The new track will follow the May single “Play Your Games,” which marked the first fresh Greta Van Fleet material to follow their 2023 album, Starcatcher.

“Play Your Games” was released after Greta Van Fleet had posted a video called “Thanks for the Wild Ride,” which had fans worried that the band had broken up. However, they later confirmed they were back in the studio.

Greta Van Fleet also returned to the live stage in May with an underplay show at New York City’s intimate Bowery Ballroom venue.

2 dead in Northern California library shooting

(LOS ANGELES) — Police arrested an 18-year-old suspect in a shooting Monday evening at a Northern California library, which left two dead and one injured, according to the Chico Police Department.

Shots were fired soon after 5 p.m. at the Chico branch of the Butte County Library in Chico, California. Law enforcement took the suspect into custody as he fled the library out the back, Chico Police Chief Billy Aldridge said in a news conference on Monday.

The suspect, identified as Bradley Scott Sayer, was arrested and is currently being held in the Butte County Jail on two counts of murder, according to Chico police.

Officers said the suspect wanted a Columbine massacre-style shooting and did not know the victims.

On April 20, 1999, two students opened fire at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, gunning down 12 of their fellow students and a teacher before killing themselves.

According to law enforcement officials, Sayer was wearing clothing like that of Columbine killer Eric Harris. And Sayer, the officials tentatively believe, is associated with an online fandom group of mass killers that has been linked to previous shootings. The officials believe he acted alone over his Columbine obsession.

“The incident this evening was obviously very sad, traumatic for a lot of people,” Aldridge said in the news conference. “Very traumatic for our community.”

Police are waiting to notify the victims’ families before releasing their names. In addition to the two dead, a child was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, Aldridge said.

All branches of the Butte County Library are closed on Tuesday.

Law enforcement said they are continuing to investigate the shooting, and there is no current danger to the public. They believe the shooter acted alone. The Chico Police Department is collaborating with the Butte County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI in the investigation, which remains ongoing.
