We knew that Selena Gomez‘s pal Cara Delevingne would be one of the actors joining the cast for season two of Selena’s acclaimed Hulu series Only Murders in the Building. Now we know what part the model and actress will be playing.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, Only Murders showrunner and co-creator John Hoffman says Cara will portray Alice, a new love interest for Selena’s Mabel. Alice is an art-gallery owner who, as Vanity Fair reports, “puts Mabel in touch with a side of herself she’s been somewhat neglecting since the show began.”

Hoffman says Selena and Cara’s long friendship made their interaction onscreen “amazing,” adding, “It’s a little sparky in all the right ways that makes you feel like, ‘Oh, someone’s opening someone’s world.'” However, Steve Martin‘s Charles and Martin Short‘s Oliver aren’t very happy about Mabel’s new relationship, according to Hoffman.

But, of course, Mabel, Charles and Oliver have to focus on clearing their names after last season’s cliffhanger ending. Season two, which also feature guest stars Amy Schumer and Shirley MacLaine, debuts June 28.

(NOTE LANGUAGE) Singer Keyshia Cole is no stranger to sharing her personal life stories, and after enduring a tumultuous last year with the losses of both her mother and father, the 40-year-old star recently opened up about finally getting answers to a mental health struggle.

On her Instagram story earlier this week, Cole explained how a recent visit to the emergency room revealed a diagnosis of severe anxiety.

“I’m so proud of getting a few hours sleep, literally have been getting None! So not ok. SMH,” she wrote, as shared by The Jasmine Brand. “And have been having the worst anxiety attacks. When I can literally feel my heart hurting. Had to to take my a** to the emergency room. They gave me damn medicine for anxiety. I didn’t KNOW wtf was happening to me.”

Cole’s frequent updates on the status of her mental health seem to be helpful for those who may experience the same struggles. Fans and fellow celebrities chimed in on Instagram to not only show support to the singer but to also share their own mental health stories.

“That’s happened to me before,” rapper/producer Rico Love said. “I went to the ER . You literally feel like your having a stroke or something (in your mind of course because if you’ve never had a stroke you have no way of knowing what it feels like).”

One fan detailed a similar experience, saying, “Yep. I’ve been exactly there. Once I thought I was having a heart attack.”

Many users extended grace to the star, who, in a series of re-tweets in 2019, hinted at a struggle with depression. One user asked if she’s ever dealt with depression, to which Cole responded, “Of course.”

Sharon Osbourne is getting assistance from an IV amid her bout with COVID-19.

On Wednesday, the wife of Ozzy Osbourne shared a photo of her hooked up to an IV drip while sitting up in bed next to two dogs and giving the peace sign. In the caption, she simply wrote the word “Covid” bookended by two profanity emojis.

As previously reported, Sharon, 69, tested positive for COVID-19 after returning home to care for her husband, 73, when he was diagnosed with the virus last week. In an interview with the U.K.’s The Talk this past Monday, Sharon said that she felt “OK,” while adding that Ozzy was “doing much better.”

Sharon previously caught COVID-19 in December 2020, and was briefly hospitalized.

Olivia Rodrigo joined a growing list of artists condemning the recent leak from the Supreme Court that indicated the justices were set to overturn Roe V. Wade, the landmark 1973 decision that made abortion a constitutional right.

Olivia performed in Washington D.C. on Wednesday and tore into anti-abortion sentiments.  “Because we’re in D.C., I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to say how heartbroken I am over the Supreme Court’s potential decision,” she said, according to Billboard, which drew a strong response from the audience.

“Our bodies should never be in the hands of politicians,” the Grammy winner declared. “I hope we can raise our voices to protect our right to have a safe abortion, which is a right that so many people before us have worked so hard to get.”

The 19-year-old singer joins a string of pop stars who slammed the potential ruling, which includes Harry StylesMariah CareyAdam LevineBillie EilishAva Max and many others.

Halsey penned a fiery letter to fans on Tuesday, which said in part, “I cannot stress enough the implications of this moment in history. This is a cruel attack on our fundamental right to choose if and when to have a child. I felt this way before I became a mother and I feel this way even more now after having my son.”

Ariana Grande also spoke out against the decision and said via her Instagram story, “It’s never been more necessary to make sure you and everyone you know and care about are registered to VOTE in ALL elections.”

Stardate: October 13th, 2021: Anson Mount is recording one of the most legendary monologues in pop culture: The opening to the original Star Trek series, famously voiced by William Shatner. The Star Trek: Strange New Worlds star, who plays Captain Kirk’s predecessor, Captain Christopher Pike, is having a moment.

“At one point, I said ‘Guys…we’re going to remember this moment for the rest of our lives,'” he tells ABC Audio. That’s when the date, and the Blue Origin launch come into the picture. “And I realized of course…William Shatner is in orbit right now! I was like, oh man. Don’t ever try to outdo Shatner!”

Talk about living up to expectations. The Paramount+ show, set a decade before Captain Kirk takes command of the Starship Enterprise, is rich in Star Trek history and lore, showcasing new and classic characters like Mister Spock, played by Ethan Peck.

“I feel a huge amount of pressure to do this properly,” Peck tells ABC Audio, referring to the legacy of Leonard Nimoy, who played Spock for almost 50 years. “Because it is such an iconic character not just in Star Trek, but I think in television history. It’s forced me to grow personally.”

Rebecca Romijn — who stars as Pike’s Number One, Una Chin-Riley — echoes the sentiment. “You feel that pressure, you want to make sure you’re not letting anybody down,” the X-Men star says, telling ABC Audio the Trek franchise is in good hands when it comes to this outing.

“We ask a lot of questions, we don’t want to get anything wrong,” she says. “Pronunciation is always a big thing with our dialogue! But yeah, I would say I feel like a caretaker first and foremost.”

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is now streaming on Paramount+.

A$AP Rocky

(NOTE LANGUAGE) A$AP Rocky dropped off his new song and video, “D.M.B.,” on Thursday, and the star of the cinematic visual is none other than his girlfriend, Rihanna

Directed and executive produced by Rocky himself, through his creative agency, AWGE, the nearly five-minute-long video, shot in New York last summer, features imagery of the soon-to-be-parents having fun in the streets of Rocky’s hometown and enjoying each other’s company. As an ode to the couple’s love story, a pre-baby bump Rihanna frolics with and beside her boyfriend as the two depict a story of ride-or-die partners.

Declaring his love of women in the new track, Rocky raps, “I was lost then, but I found you / I was slim thick, with a bounce too / It’s your tough love that I’m bound to / I f**k it up, then it’s round two.”

Considering the full song title, “Dat’s My B***h,” and the fact that their baby is expected any day now, it could be safe to say Rocky isn’t letting Rihanna go anywhere, anytime soon. (Video includes uncensored profanity.)

Taylor Swift dropped yet another ‘Taylor’s Version’ re-recording of one of her songs from 1989: “This Love.”  The song will be featured in the upcoming tv series The Summer I Turned Pretty.

“Thank you @jennyhan for debuting my version of This Love in the trailer for @thesummeriturnedpretty,” Taylor announced on Instagram.  I’ve always been so proud of this song and I’m very [emotional] about this turn of events.”

The Grammy winner then shocked fans by revealing, “‘This Love (Taylor’s Version)’ comes out tonight at m i d n i g h t!” — and, of course, people are already hard at work piecing together what clues the singer may have left in her caption.

The working theory, which has been for some time, is that Taylor is ready to release her newly re-recorded version of her 1989 album because “This Love” isn’t the only track off the record to get a ‘Taylor’s Version’ makeover. Last year, she released “Wildest Dreams” after featuring it in another movie trailer for DreamWorks’ animated film Spirit Untamed.

It’s currently unknown when Taylor will drop her new and improved 1989, but fans are holding out hope it’ll arrive very soon.

As for the The Summer I Turned Pretty TV series, based off the trilogy of books authored by Jenny Han, it arrives June 17 on Amazon Prime Video.

ABC

Gabby Barrett shared the music video this week for her current single, “Pick Me Up,” and it’s a mini-movie that tells a love story dating back to 1962.

Things start off with a high school-aged girl, played by Gabby, who goes for a ride in the shotgun seat of her boyfriend’s truck. Fans will probably recognize the guy behind the wheel: It’s Cade Foehner, Gabby’s real-life husband, whom she met while the two were contestants on American Idol.

The next scene flashes forward to 1978, with the same couple — now married, with a young daughter running around the house. It’s another nod to Gabby’s real-life love story: She and Cade share a daughter named Baylah May, who was born in early 2021.

Though there are bills marked “past due” on the table, the pair still find time for each other, with Cade turning on the radio and leading Gabby in a dance around the living room.

Their love story stays strong into the present day: By the end of the video, Gabby’s an elderly woman in a nursing home, but Cade — also wearing makeup that makes him look older — still shows up with flowers.

“Pick Me Up” is one of four new tracks Gabby released on the deluxe version of her Goldmine album in late 2021.
