After wrapping her first string of dates on her Velvet Rodeo Las Vegas residency, Miranda Lambert came home to dinner, made with love by her husband, Brendan McLoughlin.

The country superstar made her very first Instagram Reel to commemorate the occasion. “I think I did it. Trying to keep up!” she said in the caption, showing a spread of a cheesy, saucy baked dish, plus pasta.

“We made it back from Vegas feeling both fulfilled and tuckered out from being gone a month,” she said. “Ain’t no welcome home like some homemade happiness by [Brendan McLoughlin].”

Even the couple’s pets got in on the celebration: One shot in Miranda’s Reel shows her hand-feeding pasta to a pair of excited dogs.

“Mutts eating pasta should be a thing…lady and the tramp movie! Anyone?” the singer joked.

Miranda heads back out to Vegas for more Velvet Rodeo dates in late November.

Olivia Rodrigo name-checked Glee in her breakup anthem “deja vu” — and has now met one of the stars of the series, Lea Michele.

Olivia attended the Wednesday night performance of Funny Girl and the two shared a moment backstage.

The Broadway actress, who is playing lead Fanny Brice in the musical, shared an Instagram photo of them posing together, with her hand resting on Olivia’s shoulder. Olivia’s holding onto the musical’s Playbill book and smiling.

Olivia saluted the early aughts with her outfit, opting to wear large gold hoop earrings, a black spaghetti strap tank with a high neckline, and a black-and-white plaid mini skirt with a black sweater tied around her hips.

“This beautiful girl came to see @funnygirlbwy last night,” Michele captioned the sweet photo. “loved seeing you @oliviarodrigo absolutely adore you!” She also shared the same photo to her Instagram Story and wrote, “I [love] you Olivia.”

Olivia was touched by the shoutout and ran to the comments to share her excitement. “LOVE U! U WERE INCREDIBLE!!!!” she wrote in all capital letters.

Of course, fans of the two are now hoping they jump into the studio for a collab. Others are calling for Olivia to follow in Michele’s footsteps on Broadway so she can combine her love of acting, singing and theater.

So very ’Special’: Lizzo shares “hidden” love for Radiohead growing up

Thom Yorke famously wished to be “special” on Radiohead‘s breakout hit “Creep.” Perhaps that’s what inspired Lizzo to name her new album Special.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, the “Truth Hurts” artist shares that she was a big Radiohead fan growing up. However, that wasn’t something she was eager to share with her friends at the time.

“It was a Black school, mostly Black and brown, Caribbean, I had Nigerian friends,” Lizzo explains. “They were all listening to what was on the radio: Usher, Destiny’s Child, Ludacris, and I was into Radiohead’s OK Computer.”

Lizzo adds that she kept her Radiohead fandom hidden so that she wouldn’t be “made fun of by my peers.”

“I wanted to be accepted so bad; not fitting in really hurt,” she says.

In addition to her love for Radiohead, Lizzo says she sang in a “very Mars Volta–influenced” prog rock band when she was 19 or 20.

While Radiohead may not have actually inspired Lizzo’s Special, the album does include a tribute to another English band with its closing song, which is called “Coldplay.”

Cher lists her mansion in Malibu for $85 million

Cher is ready to move out of the Malibu mansion she’s owned since 1989 and has listed it for a whopping $85 million.

The Wall Street Journal reports Cher’s home sits on a 1.7-acre lot overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This isn’t the first time the singer has tried selling the property, however.

Back in 2009, Cher listed the Italian Renaissance-style estate for $45 million.

So, what makes this property worth $85 million, besides the fact a living legend lived there for over 30 years?  For starters, the mansion offers 13,200 square feet of living space, which includes seven bedrooms. In addition, it offers luxury perks like an infinity pool, meditation room, indoor-outdoor gym, courtyard with a fountain, tennis court, theater and a detached gatehouse on the property.

As for the most on-brand Cher thing the house could offer, it comes with a climate-controlled wig room.

“From every room, there is an ocean view,” Cher told the outlet. She said she would host “intimate dinners in the family dining room,” as well as “tented parties in the courtyard and pool area,” depending on party size.

The gated property, which boasts a driveway lined with over three dozen palm trees, also comes with added security, like a panic room that doubles as a closet.

It should be noted that while Cher bought the place in 1989, she rebuilt the mansion in 1999.

No reason was given for why the singer is moving on from her beloved home. That said, if you want to own a piece of Cher’s history and have $85 million to burn, there’s a house in Malibu with your name on it.

Netflix has debuted the trailer for the upcoming release of the sequel Enola Holmes 2.

Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill return as Enola and her brother Sherlock, and the preview, set to Jet‘s “Are You Gonna Be My Girl,” teases their upcoming adventure.

The streaming service states, “Now a detective-for-hire like her infamous brother, Enola Holmes takes on her first official case to find a missing girl, as the sparks of a dangerous conspiracy ignite a mystery that requires the help of friends — and Sherlock himself — to unravel.”

In between foot chases, and dodging blades and bullets, Enola gets some advice from her mother, Eudoria, played by Helena Bonham Carter. “Find your allies, work with them and you will find yourself becoming more of who you are,” she says. “You could be magnificent.”

She apparently takes the advice and at one point dispatches a group of men with her friend, Susan Wokoma‘s Edith, at her side.

“She likes causing trouble, doesn’t she?” Edith understates at another point.

Enola Holmes 2 debuts November 4 on Netflix.

There may be a wave of breakup stories circulating the internet lately, but for Angela Bassett and husband Courtney B. Vance, who are celebrating 25 years married, the couple says they “can’t wait to do 25 more.”

Along with a video dated October 1, 2022, that shows an anniversary celebration, the couple penned a sweet message to one another on Instagram on their October 12 anniversary.

“25 years… When we first got married, we couldn’t wait to say we made it to 10 years! Now look at how far we’ve come!” they said. Referencing the song “Joy and Pain” by Frankie Beverly and Maze, they wrote, “As Frankie says, ‘Joy and pain are like sunshine and rain…’ Whew! He sure was right!”

The actors continued, “We’ve had ups, we’ve had downs; we gained two amazing children; but lost cherished family members and friends… We’ve had successes, we’ve had failures; we’ve had spectacular wins, we’ve had devastating losses…”

The note wrapped by saying, “But through it all there’s been one, beautiful constant: We’ve always had each other! Thank you God for each and everyone one of these 25 years! We can’t wait to do 25 more! 10/12/1997🔒❤️”

The message and video were shared to their Instagram pages.

In a 2020 interview with People, Bassett opened up about their loving relationship and shared her thoughts on a successful marriage.

“Staying together so long, whether in the industry or not, I think the important thing is that you gotta marry the right person,” she said.

Bassett and Vance married in 1997 and share 16-year-old twins, son Slater and daughter Bronwyn.

Kane Brown hit the top of the country charts with “Like I Love Country Music,” the second single off his Different Man album, but the song almost ended up on the cutting room floor.

The singer shares the story in a new video interview with CMT, explaining that he wrote “Like I Love Country Music” in 2019, the same day he wrote “BFE,” one of the songs off his 2020 album, Mixtape, Vol. 1.

“Country Music” — or at least an early version of it — kind of got lost in the shuffle, Kane says.

“I just kind of fell out of love with this one and just realized that there was, like, a half-time missing,” he says. “Which made me not like the song anymore. So we went in and beefed it up a little bit.”

With help from his producer, Dann Huff, Kane reconfigured the song as the throwback anthem fans know and love today — and added a short feature from Brooks & Dunn, who sing a snipped from their song “Brand New Man” during a reference to the track in Kane’s lyrics.

“That is not an edit from their song,” Kane clarifies. “They actually went in the studio and both sang, like, a word apiece. Which I thought was a bigger story than them singing a whole verse or a whole chorus … it made the song amazing.”

“Country Music” went #1 faster than any other single in Kane’s career so far.

Report: Ed Sheeran teases surprise new album at secret show

Ed Sheeran may have done more than crossed an item off his bucket list when he performed at Union Chapel in London — he may have also confirmed a new album is on the horizon.

The Sun spoke with alleged witnesses who attended the top-secret performance — only 600 people were allowed in — who say Ed previewed eight new tracks.

“The new tracks sounded amazing. It’s obvious he has poured his heart and soul into them,” one insider told the outlet. No titles or lyrics were made available, as Ed asked attendees to lock their phones during his secret set.

Ed last released Equals, stylized as the “=” sign, which contained hits “Shivers,” “Overpass Graffiti,” “2step” and “Bad Habits.” The 2021 effort marked his fifth studio album.

Ed began teasing the arrival of Subtract — again stylized as the “-” sign — earlier this month when promoting his North American tour. He has not revealed when the album comes out.

During the performance, Ed also paid tribute to his late friend Jamal Edwards, who passed away at age 31 earlier this year. The singer apparently cried while speaking about Edwards.

“It was an incredibly special night. The atmosphere inside the venue was very emotional and there were lots of tears,” a witness explained and added, “To see someone as famous as Ed let his guard down in such an intimate gig really was a once in a lifetime moment.”

The event was to benefit the Wellstock charity, which is run by British singer Will Young. The organization strives to raise mental health awareness and support charities that focus on improving lives.

The Rock asked whether he’d consider heading up Warner Bros.’ superhero universe — from the boardroom

Recently, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav made it known the studio was looking for an executive to head up a unit that could turn its DC Comics properties into a blockbuster-minting machine the way Kevin Feige has done for Marvel Studios.

But could that person also be a DC superhero?

The question was put to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson at Wednesday night’s New York City premiere of his upcoming Warner Bros. film, Black Adam. So will The Rock trade his superhero tights for a business suit?

Not exactly.

After pondering the question from Variety over a long pull from a bottle of water, Johnson said diplomatically, “The best position that I could be for DC is one as an adviser, where I can help. I love DC. It’s in my blood. In the spirit of growing up with the DC Universe, I’m here to help in any way I can, including looking for and finding that right leader or leaders.”

Johnson also weighed in on another long-shot prospect: Could movie fans one day see Disney-owned Marvel heroes alongside those from Warner Bros.’ DC Universe?

It has happened in the pages of comic books several times over the years, beginning with Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man in the 1970s, and more recently when the heroes from DC’s Justice League faced off with Marvel’s Avengers. Movies, however, are far more complicated, with ownership rights and profit sharing just some of the tangles that would need to be smoothed out.

Johnson, however, took a “never say never” approach when asked. “Well, I’m always optimistic. I’d like to think that we would see that. My philosophy is anything can get done…”
