If you ever wondered what advice one Hollywood heartthrob would have for another, wonder no more, because Timothée Chalamet just dished on the career advice given to him by Leonardo DiCaprio.

In the cover story of the October 2022 issue of British Vogue, Chalamet, 26, shared that what DiCaprio told him was simple: “No hard drugs and no superhero movies.”

The advice came during the actors’ first meeting in 2018.

The Dune star, who makes history as the first solo man to be on the cover of British Vogue, also discussed his rise to fame, stating, “I had a delusional dream in my early teenage years to have, in my late teenage years, an acting career.”

“And in my late teenage years, working on Homeland and starting to do theatre in New York, I felt like I reduced my goal to something more realistic, which was to work in theatre and hopefully make enough money doing either a TV show or something I could sustain myself [with],” Chalamet continued. “And then it felt like every dream came true, exponentially. And then life is moving at six million miles per hour.”

The October issue of British Vogue hits newsstands September 20.

Christina Aguilera sweetly marked the 22nd anniversary of her first all-Spanish album, Mi Reflejo, and explained why the moment is so important to her.

Saluting the effort on Twitter, the Grammy winner said she was “Reflecting on this special milestone just in time for the start of #HispanicHeritageMonth.”

“22 years ago I released my Latin Debut, Mi Reflejo,” she continued. “Being able to celebrate my heritage and revisit singing in a beautiful language so close to my heart has meant so much to me.”

Christina also released a 30-second clip about the studio work, calling it “a beautiful experience and time in my life.” Flashback moments include her creating the album’s artwork and performing the record’s tracks over time.

The “Beautiful” singer reflected on the full circle moment of releasing her new all-Spanish record, which has been broken up into four EPs. “Now I’m coming back to Spanish music, which has always been a priority for me.  Coming back as a mother, a grown woman and being able to share that with my kids,” she expressed, adding this will allow her to share “the stories that I have and the growth that I’ve had.”

Christina is set to release her third all-Spanish EP, La Luz, sometime this year. It will follow the previously released EPs La Fuerza and La Tormenta, which will be combined with an upcoming fourth EP to make the comprehensive project Aguilera.

Aguilera will become her second all-Spanish album following her 2000 album Mi Reflejo

While promoting the latest installment of ABC’s Celebrity Wheel of Fortune to Entertainment Tonight, longtime host Pat Sajak seemed to say he was ready to hang it up after 40 seasons.

“Years go by fast,” Sajak said, adding of himself and co-host Vanna White. “We’re getting near the end. It’s been a long [time]. We’re not gonna do this for another 40 years.”

“Happy and proud” of the reception he gets from the studio audience at every show, Sajak said, “It’s an honor to have been in people’s living rooms for that long.”

He continued of his 40-year run, “In most television shows by this time, you would have said, ‘That’s probably enough,’ but this show will not die.'”

The 75-year-old host added with a laugh, “it appears I may go before the show.”

That said, Sajak is still having fun with the celebrity installments of the show, which began in 1975.

He admits to having one bucket list star in mind to spin the wheel. “I’m still pulling for Meryl Streep ’cause I wanna see her say, ‘Come on, big money!'” he said.

He added with a laugh, “That’s all I want, but she won’t come on because she found out you can’t win an Oscar for this.”

Celebrity Wheel of Fortune returns Sept. 25 on ABC.

Fozzy has postponed the remainder of their 2022 U.S. tour dates as frontman Chris Jericho continues to recover from a bruised larynx.

As previously reported, Jericho suffered the injury doing his other job, wrestling, during an AEW event in August, forcing Fozzy to postpone the beginning of the tour. In a new update, Jericho says that, while the condition is “not permanent” and is “healing,” he still “need[s] more time to heal, in order to be able to sing at 100%.”

“Nobody likes to move shows, least of all me, but if Fozzy and I can’t give you 100% during each and every show we do, we won’t do them,” Jericho says.

The affected shows have been moved to the spring of 2023. Previously purchased tickets will be honored at the rescheduled dates.

Fozzy’s tour supports the band’s new album, Boombox, which features the singles “I Still Burn,” “Sane” and “Nowhere to Run.”

Talking Heads‘ debut album, Talking Heads: 77, was released 45 years ago Friday, September 16, and the influential new wave band is marking the milestone in multiple ways.

To begin, Talking Heads have launched its first-ever official website, online store, Instagram page and YouTube channel.

Premiering Friday on the YouTube channel are videos for songs “And She Was,” “Blind” and “Love for Sale,” which have been newly upgraded to HD. Additional high-def Talking Heads videos will be uploaded to the channel in the coming months.

In addition, a new collection of exclusive Talking Heads: 77-themed merchandise is now available at the group’s official store, including exclusive shirts, hats, hooded sweatshirts and other items.

Meanwhile, new Dolby Atmos mixes of all eight Talking Heads studio albums — Talking Heads: 77, 1978’s More Songs About Buildings and Food, 1979’s Fear of Music, 1980’s Remain in Light, 1983’s Speaking in Tongues, 1985’s Little Creatures, 1986’s True Stories and 1988’s Naked — were also released Friday.

Talking Heads guitarist/keyboardist Jerry Harrison oversaw the Dolby Atmos mixes.

Talking Heads: 77 introduced the world to the Talking Heads, one of the bands to emerge from the punk scene revolving around the famed New York City club CBGB. The album includes the classic song “Psycho Killer.”

The band — frontman David Byrne, drummer Chris Frantz, bassist Tina Weymouth and Harrison — remained active until 1991. They reunited only once since then, in 2002, when they performed at their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

After Nicki Minaj filed a defamation lawsuit Wednesday against Marley Green, the blogger accused her of threatening her life. The “Super Freaky Girl” rapper immediately responded and denied the claim.

As previously reported, Nicki is suing Green, known as Nosey Heaux, for saying she was a “cokehead” known for “shoving” cocaine up her nose.

In the lawsuit, the MTV Lifetime Achievement Award winner says Green “falsely and maliciously” called her a drug addict in a Twitter video posted Monday that “outrageously defamed” her and sparked a “firestorm of social media attention.”

After word spread of the lawsuit, The Neighborhood Talk posted the Instagram headline: “Pay Up! Nicki Minaj Makes Good On Promise To Sue YouTuber Who Accused Her Of Doing Coke: ‘Nothing Less Than $75,000.’”

Green replied in the comment section, “Actually Nicki doxxed me and is sending people to threaten my life.”
Nicki fired back, “That’s another false allegation you just made. That, in addition to all the new lies you said will probably cost you more than you know. So now…welp…BYE MARLEY!!! BWAHAHAHAHA.”

Minaj later tweeted she had several other lawsuits just waiting to be filed.

“Hmmm thinking if I should dish them out daily, weekly, orrrrr maybe even monthly…,” she wrote. “this Judd-Li folder is huge. LETS GO!!!!! next.”

She added, “Now let’s hope the ppl you guys r doing all this dirty work for love you enough to hire top notch lawyers for you & to pay your bills once I own your blogs, your shows, those IG pages y’all tried to protect so bad. Couple artists in the folder too. I’ll own your publishing. Duds.”

UMe

Ringo Starr‘s latest EP, a four-song collection titled EP3, was released Friday on CD and digital formats.

As its title suggests, EP3 is the third in a series of EPs; the former Beatles drummer has now recorded and released three EPs since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Coinciding with EP3‘s arrival, Ringo has debuted an official music video for lead track, the upbeat rock tune “World Go Round.” The song was co-written by Toto lead singer Joseph Williams and founding Toto guitarist and longtime All Starr Band member Steve Lukather.

The video features Starr at his home studio and rehearsal space, playing the song with Lukather and recording vocals with some backing singers. The clip also includes scenes of Williams playing keyboards.

The other three tracks on EP3 are “Everyone and Everything,” which was written by hit-making producer and songwriter Linda Perry; “Let’s Be Friends,” a catchy dance tune co-written by Starr’s longtime studio engineer Bruce Sugar and acclaimed songwriter Sam Hollander; and “Free Your Soul,” a laid-back, reggae-flavored tune that Starr co-wrote with Sugar.

Vinyl and cassette versions of the EP are due out on November 14.

EP3 was preceded by the Zoom In and Change the World EPs, which were released in March 2021 and September 2021, respectively.

Meanwhile, Ringo currently is touring North America with his All Starr Band; their next concert takes place tonight in Clearwater, Florida.

Jeff Bridges is reflecting on his recent health battles with cancer and COVID-19.

The True Grit actor, 72, announced in 2020 that he’d been diagnosed with lymphoma. In March 2021, while undergoing chemotherapy treatments, he contracted COVID-19.

“The chemo wipes out your immune system and when COVID hit me, I had nothing to fight it,” Bridges told E! News. “I was just really at death’s door a couple of times there.”

“I remember the doctors saying to me, ‘Jeff, you gotta fight,'” he recalled. He said he thought he was “in surrender mode” but was able to change his mindset thanks to his medical team, trainers and family who “brought me back.”

The Old Man star shared in September 2021 that he’s in remission.

Having survived both cancer and COVID-19, Bridges said he is prioritizing his wife, Susan, whom he married in 1977 and calls “the love of my life,” as well as their three daughters and their three grandchildren.

“So often things are right on our nose that we don’t appreciate,” he said. “But it turns out there are many positive sides in my life that came out of that experience.”

Bridges just began appearing in commercials touting monoclonal antibody treatment for COVID-19, which he said helped him.

Strumming a guitar as he walks through the woods, he declares, “I love being alive, man!”
