In between all the rock legends who played the Taylor Hawkins concerts in September, it may have been the youngest people onstage who stole the show.

Hawkins’ teenage son Shane memorably took his father’s place on drums to play “My Hero” along with Foo Fighters, while kid music prodigy Nandi Bushell — who went viral after challenging Dave Grohl to a drum battle — joined the Foos for “Learn to Fly” during the concert at London’s Wembley Stadium.

In addition to warming the hearts of countless rock fans, Shane and Nandi became friends, and jammed together backstage during the Wembley show.

Nandi has now shared video of that jam session, featuring her and Shane playing songs including the Foos’ “Everlong” and Nirvana‘s “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”

“Jamming with Shane backstage at Wembley is one of my favorite ever moments,” Nandi writes alongside the clip. “Shane is one of the nicest, friendliest, talented people I have ever met. He is so much fun to be around and has so much energy.”

On Thanksgiving Day, Paramount+ drops the first two episodes of the next chapter in the long-running crime drama series Criminal Minds with Criminal Minds: Evolution.

The 10-episode series has the added freedom of being on a streaming platform. Joe Mantegna reprises as FBI profiler David Rossi, who joins other returning cast members, including Kirsten Vangsness, Aisha Tyler, A.J. Cook and Paget Brewster.

Mantegna tells ABC Audio the new title is fitting. “It looks a little different. It sounds a little different. There are moments that people are going to say, ‘Wait, did Rossi say that?'” he laughs.

Mantegna says it’s heartening to see how beloved the original show is. “I mean, I get fan mail from all over the world. … And it makes you appreciate the fact that … you’re doing something that’s translating in a way that people are responding, not just locally … but all across the world.”

Vangsness tells ABC Audio her longevity on the show always surprises her. “You book a gig as a costar with two lines, and you’re just going to be there and gone. And then they keep bringing you back, and you’re like, ‘This is nice!'”

The series gets the show’s resident tech expert and fan favorite Penelope Garcia up and out from behind a desk. “Before, I did so much exposition on the show … A lot of the time just being like, ‘OK, pretend talk to that person, pretend talk to that person.’ And now, you know, I walk with feet and have scenes, and you realize that walking with feet and scenes with other people are much more satisfying than being in a room alone and just hearing imaginary voices in your head with a fake earbud!”

Lizzo and Lady Gaga are heading to Kensington Palace, London — well, two of their iconic outfits are anyway.

Rolling Stone reports that a pair of the singers’ most iconic looks will be featured at the State Apartments at Kensington Palace’s upcoming display, “Crown to Couture.”

Lizzo’s outfit will be the dramatically glamorous, black-and-gold Thom Browne corset dress she wore to the 2022 Met Gala. Fashion experts lauded the rapper for understanding the assignment of the night’s theme, which was Gilded Glamour.

As for Gaga, the flowing green gown she wore to the 2020 MTV VMAs will be on display.

These outfits will be featured alongside some iconic pieces of fashion history stemming from the 18th century.  Claudia Acott Williams explained the inspiration behind the new “Crown to Couture” exhibit, saying it’s their way of bringing together the past and present.

“By bringing these familiar looks into the Palace and placing them in conversation with spectacular 18th-century court dress, we hope to provide a new perspective on these historic spaces and the seemingly distant customs of the Georgian Court, and allow visitors to experience the Palace as it was meant to be experienced: filled to the brim with the most fashionable and influential names of the day,” said Wiliams.

So, if you want to see Gaga and Lizzo’s fashion choices showing up some 300-year-plus outfits from the Georgian era, you have from April 5, 2023, to October 29, 2023, to see them.

Shanquella Robinson death: Authorities share details differing from autopsy report

(PUERTO LOS CABOS, MEXICO) — As FBI officials investigate the death of an American woman vacationing in Mexico, Mexican authorities revealed Tuesday night that 25-year-old Shanquella Robinson may have been alive and received care from a medical professional for several hours before authorities arrived and she was pronounced dead, ABC News has learned.

The medical professional at the scene allegedly told Robinson’s friends that Robinson was drunk, dehydrated and that they should take her to a hospital. However, they declined to do so, according to authorities.

The new report differs significantly from the original autopsy report obtained by ABC News, which said medical professionals arrived at Robinson’s villa at 3 p.m. and she was declared dead within 15 minutes. The autopsy said Robinson died from a severe spinal cord injury and a dislocated neck.

Authorities have not responded to ABC News’ request for comment on the difference between their report and the autopsy.

According to the new police report, Robinson’s friends requested a medical consultation at 2:13 p.m. After a general practitioner from the American Medical Center arrived at the address in Puerto Los Cabos, Robinson’s friends told the medical professional that she had drank a lot of alcohol.

Medican personnel said they noticed Robinson had a poor verbal response, was in a state of drunkenness and was dehydrated, but had stable vital signs, according to the police report. The medical professional at the scene advised Robinson’s friends to transfer her to a hospital but her friends insisted she stay at the villa, the report said.

At 4:20 p.m., Robinson began seizing, which is when one of Robinson’s friends, Wenter Essence Donovan, dialed 911. As emergency medical professionals arrived, the police report said Robinson began having difficulty breathing and had a decreased pulse.

At 4:49 p.m., the general practitioner said they stopped feeling Robinson’s pulse and started CPR until paramedics arrived. They continued with 14 CPR sessions and five doses of adrenaline without success. Robinson went into an asystole state (type of cardiac arrest), according to the police report. Robinson was declared deceased at 5:57 p.m., the report said

According to the new police report, Mexican authorities were notified by Donovan around 5 p.m. local time of Robinson’s condition.

Donovan, and all of Robinson’s friends who were with her in Cabo, have not responded to ABC News’ repeated requests for comment.

The FBI opened a probe into Robinson’s death earlier this month, which is being investigated by Mexican authorities as a femicide, a form of gender-based violence.

Robinson, of Charlotte, North Carolina, went to the resort city of San Jose del Cabo on the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula with six friends on Oct. 28.

They stayed at a rental villa in Fundadores, an exclusive gated community with vacation homes and a private beach club, according to Robinson’s family.

The next day, Robinson’s parents said they got a frantic telephone call from their daughter’s friends saying she had died.

With all the new and developing information, Robinson’s family is still seeking answers from her friends who know what happened that weekend in Cabo. Sallamondra Robinson, the mother of Shanquella Robinson, said she’s happy the FBI has stepped in to help solve her daughter’s case so it “won’t go in vain.”

“I would like to see each one of them sent back to Mexico because their plan was to come back here thinking that they wasn’t going to be prosecuted,” Robinson told ABC News. “She was a caring person … and I want them to always remember that. We’re going to keep her legacy alive.”

If Marie Osmond has her way, Selena Gomez would play her in a documentary about her life.

Speaking to E! News, the singer opened up about the possibility of having her very own biopic to tell her life story. “I think Selena Gomez would be amazing — only because she has been through a lot of the things that I’ve been through,” Marie raved.

Both singers stepped into the limelight as children, to which Marie noted, “I think it’s nice to have a child’s perspective as being an entertainer because it’s very different.”

As for her experience growing up in front of an audience, the singer is grateful for what her life gave her. “I don’t look at life that way,” she said when asked if she missed out on having a normal childhood. “I look at what’s a positive. I like to dwell on that more than what I missed.”

Selena has not yet commented on the possibility of bringing the legendary singer’s life story to the big screen.

When Keyshia Cole stepped onto the music scene with her 2004 debut single “Never,” many took notice of her signature tooth gap. She eventually covered it with veneers, but it’s back thanks to her role in an upcoming film.

Social media users were in a frenzy after Keyshia smiled and showed off her reopened gap to fans watching her Instagram Live. Twitter was flooded with posts assuming the singer was about to release music reminiscent of her early days.

“Keyshia Cole brought her gap backkkkk now you know her music bout to be,” read one tweet. “Keyshia Cole gap is back,” a fan wrote. “hopefully that old K.C. feel of music will follow.”

It turns out Keyshia is working on a new project, but it’s not music. Speaking to The Shaderoom, the singer revealed she brought her gap back for an upcoming biopic about her life.

“I’m getting in character,” she said in a statement, noting she will play a younger version of herself in the movie. “[W]e start filming in Oakland on the 1st of next month [December].”

Keyshia said she got veneers because her teeth were “really small” and she “just wanted to perfect what she didn’t like about” her smile. She contemplated bringing the gap back before the movie came out, adding she “decided to make that jump” when they started filming.

The procedure cost more than $8,000, Keyshia added. She has no plans to cover her tooth gap again.
