Earlier this year, Korn played an intimate concert at the Hollywood United Methodist Church in Los Angeles to celebrate the release of their new album, Requiem. Now, the “Freak on a Leash” metallers are releasing an official live recording of the unique event.
The set, titled Requiem Mass, will arrive on February 3. It includes renditions of songs such as “Start the Healing” and “Worst Is on Its Way.”
The Requiem Mass show was held in February and was attended by 300 fans wearing “appropriate black funeral attire.” The concert streamed online, as well.
Along with the church performance, Korn supported Requiem this year with shows alongside System of a Down and Evanescence. The group’s next scheduled date is at May’s Sick New World nu metal nostalgia festival in Las Vegas.

A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical will have its gala opening night Sunday at New York City’s Broadhurst Theatre. The man himself will be attending, along with Frankie Valli, record mogul Clive Davis, Bernadette Peters, Camryn Manheim, Audra McDonald, Lea Michele and Bob Gaudio.
Gaudio, a member of the Four Seasons, produced six albums for Diamond, as well as his hit Barbra Streisand duet “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers.” He’s a producer of the new musical.
The show tells Diamond’s story using many of his most beloved hits, from “Love on the Rocks,” “Sweet Caroline,” “I’m a Believer” and “Red Red Wine” to “Cracklin’ Rosie,” “Song Sung Blue,” “America” and many more.
According to a press release, the opening night is set to feature an “unforgettable red-carpet entrance” by Diamond, 81, as well as a “never-to-be-seen-again, surprise moment with one of the recording industry’s greatest living legends.” Will he join the cast onstage for a rendition of “Sweet Caroline”? Balenciaga’s creative director, Denma Gvasalia, has broken his silence regarding the brand’s recent controversial ad campaign.
“I want to personally apologize for the wrong artistic choice of concept for the gifting campaign with the kids and I take my responsibility,” Gvasalia wrote in a statement on Instagram Friday. “It was inappropriate to have kids promote objects that had nothing to do with them.”
“As much as I would sometimes like to provoke a thought through my work, I would NEVER have an intention to do that with such an awful subject as child abuse that I condemn,” he added.
The famed creative said he needed to “learn from this, listen and engage with child protection organizations to know how I can contribute and help on this terrible subject.”
The apology comes after the luxury brand faced backlash for featuring children with sexualized teddy bears in a recent ad campaign.
Balenciaga’s president and CEO, Cédric Charbit, also issued a statement on Friday, sharing that the company has reorganized its image department to ensure full alignment with corporate guidelines.
The company also confirmed Friday it would be dropping a lawsuit previously filed against the North Six production company, as well as set designer Nicholas Des Jardins, over a separate Spring 2023 ad campaign, which included a photo that showed a Supreme Court ruling on child pornography laws.
Balenciaga had accused North Six and Des Jardins of “malevolent or, at the very least, extraordinarily reckless” conduct in its work on that ad campaign, though a source close to North Six told Good Morning America on Monday that the production company had only handled logistics for the shoot and did not have creative control or input in the campaign.
The company first responded to the blowback on November 22, saying it “sincerely” apologized for the campaign.
Mariah Carey is the latest singer to get a Robloxmakeover for her own in-game show.
Mariah will launch the “Mariah Carey’s Winter Wonderland” experience, a four-night extravaganza, beginning December 21. The singer will help gamers get into the holiday spirit by putting on one show per night until Christmas Eve.
“Christmas is my absolute favorite time of the year! This year, I wanted to do something different to ring in the holiday season,” she said in a statement, adding the show is part of her Roc & Roe production company, which is named after her twins, Moroccan and Monroe.
Mariah continued, “My kids and I live for Roblox, and we couldn’t be more excited to be creating this festive metaverse experience for everyone!”
As for the songs on her set list, Mariah will mix her old and new hits — but she’ll save the most festive and biggest one for her grand finale: “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” Shows start Wednesday, December 21, at 7 p.m. ET. Subsequent shows will be held the same time each night until December 24.
Fans will also get to enjoy some in-game festivities, with treasure hunts featuring her twins, special item drops and the ability for people to deck out their virtual home the way Mariah would want them to. Those festivities are now live in-game.
At the comic convention CCXP in Brazil, where it was revealed the show was returning on Disney+ March 1, 2023, The Mandalorian‘s creator, Jon Favreau, and producer Dave Filoni teased Thursday what’s to come.
In addition to revealing some convention-exclusive footage of the new season, Collider reports Iron Man director Filoni teased from the main stage, “I will say that the scope of it is getting bigger, we have really cool space battles, we have lots of Mandalorians, we have the planet of Mandalore, which we’ve been talking about for a long time.”
He added, “We get to see the Mandalorian culture, and many of the wonderful actors you’ve seen in previous seasons return, and you’ll see them all work together on this show.”
Among others, a recent teaser showed star-and-episode director Carl Weathers‘ return as Greef Karga, as well as Katee Sackhoff, seen in an adversarial role as fellow Mandalorian Bo-Katan Kryze.
Favreau called it a “very ambitious season” that will see the return of some of the episode directors from the critic-and-fan-lauded first two seasons. “We have a very experienced team that have been working together for a long time, and I think a lot of people are going to enjoy what we have in store,” he teased.
Pink‘s husband, Carey Hart,informed fans that surgery on his neck went smoothly.
The motocross professional underwent surgery to fuse vertebrae and shared an Instagram video message to fans a day after the procedure to tell them he’s “feeling great.”
“Well, 24 hours after I checked in, I’m ready to cruise outta here,” he began, celebrating being “on my own two feet.” The athlete added he’s going to make himself a cup of coffee when he’s back home.
He pulled down his T-shirt to show his “little battle wound” near his Adam’s apple, saying the doctors “went in to do my fusion in my neck.” He added he’s very happy with the surgery, which was “not bad at all.”
Hart said he can walk around, shrug his shoulders and “move my head a little bit” as long as he takes it “nice and easy.” He closed by thanking fans for their well wishes and vowed to keep them posted on his recovery.
Hart previously alerted fans to his surgery and explained the doctors “ended up fusing the vertebrae because the joint was a bit hammered.” He also hinted he won’t be able to ride his motorcycles for a few months as part of the recovery process.
He also revealed in the comments that this is his 20th surgery to date and that he has “many more to go.”
Hart and Pink wed in 2006 and share two children: an 11-year-old daughter, Willow, and a 5-year-old son, Jameson.
(NOTE LANGUAGE) While initially planned as a spin-off centering on fan favorites Daryl and Carol, Norman Reedus‘ next post-apocalyptic adventure in the Walking Dead universe will have him going solo in Europe.
As reported back in April, Melissa McBride, who played Carol, made a surprise exit from the production, reportedly over the decision to move the AMC show from Georgia to on location in Europe.
However, the show’s creators tell Entertainment Weekly that the fact Daryl is now alone is a key element of the now-retitled The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
AMC President Dan McDermott tells EW that the show, due out next year, follows the character “as he wakes up and finds himself somewhere on the European continent … How did he get here? How’s he going to get home?”
Reedus calls the show a “reset.”
With three weeks “in the can,” the actor explains, “It’s weird as s***, but that’s the story.”
He adds, “People are speaking French around me, and part of my story is me trying to figure out, ‘Is this good or is this bad? Are we about to get into a fight or are we friends right now?’ I’m trying to read lips with the language that I don’t understand and I’m reading body language … and it’s confusing, and I’m figuring it out.”
He adds, “Yeah, it’s weird, but that’s the show we’re making. So it’s working really well.”
The actor also explains that shooting the show in Europe, as opposed to Georgia, helps sell the new vibe.
“It’s so epic in scale,” he enthuses, “There’s history in the walls around us … It’s a very different feel. It has the stuff that you want from the show, but it’s just picked up and put in a whole other dimension.”

Gladys Knight and Patti LaBelle recently came together for a great cause. The two living legends headlined the AIDS Healthcare Foundation’s annual World AIDS Day Concert, held Wednesday at the The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
At the event, which posthumously honored the late Princess Diana, a longtime humanitarian and AIDS advocate, Gladys took the stage to perform a medley of hits, including “I’ve Got to Use My Imagination,” “I Heard It Through the Grapevine” and “Midnight Train to Georgia.”
Patti, who headlined the concert when it was held in LA back in 2016, also sang a medley of hits, including “Love, Need and Want You,” “On My Own” and “Lady Marmalade,” during her set.
Previous headliners include Mariah Carey, DJ Khaled and Ne-Yo, who performed in 2017; Diana Ross,Teyana Taylor and Keke Wyatt, who hit the stage in 2019; and Jennifer Hudson and Christina Aguilera, who headlined the LA concert in 2021, produced by Debbie Allen.
December 7 will mark what would have been the late Harry Chapin‘s 80th birthday, and that milestone is being celebrated with a worldwide screening of a star-studded documentary about the singer, songwriter and activist.
The documentary features interviews with Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Graham Nash, Pat Benatar, Chicago‘s Robert Lamm, Sir Bob Geldof, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels of Run-DMC and the late artists Pete Seeger, Richie Havens and Harry Belafonte. It focuses on Chapin’s impact on the world, not only through his hits like “Taxi” and “Cat’s In the Cradle,” but also through his tireless work in ending world hunger.
In addition to the documentary, the screening will include 15 minutes of never-before-seen live footage from a recent Chapin Family concert. Some of those same family members will also participate in a live chat that will take place as part of the screening.
Chapin’s son Jason helped produce the documentary and says in a statement, “My family is incredibly excited and grateful for the special event … to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday, 50th anniversary of his first hit ‘Taxi’ and his lasting legacy as a musician and humanitarian. We’re also thrilled that proceeds will benefit three charities that carry on his mission to help end hunger.”
