The record consists of 17 tracks, including the previously released “Supermodel,” “The Loneliest” and “MAMMAMIA,” as well as the recently teased “Gossip,” featuring Rage Against the Machine‘s Tom Morello. Another cut, titled “LA Fine,” is set to drop Wednesday night, when the album becomes available for digital preorder.
Rush! is set to arrive January 20. It’s Måneskin’s first album since their breakout in 2021 following their Eurovision Song Contest victory.

Duran Duran will be ringing in 2023 in New York’s Times Square. The band is set to perform live on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2023.
The new Rock & Roll Hall of Famers have been tapped to play a medley of their classic hits just before midnight, ahead of the ball drop. Other artists performing in Times Square include New Edition, BTS’s J-Hope and Jax.
Other performers helping to celebrate the new year on the show include Fitz & The Tantrums, Maddie & Tae, Shaggy, Ben Platt, Aly & AJ, Halle Bailey, Tomorrow x Together, Bailey Zimmerman, Lauren Spencer Smith, Wiz Khalifa, Finneas, Armani White, Betty Who, Dove Cameron and Nicky Youre.

With awards season ramping up, nominations are coming fast and furious from several organizations, and on Thursday, the grown-ups had their say.
AARP The Magazine has released its picks for its annual Movies for Grownups Awards: the autobiographical Steven Spielberg film, The Fabelmans, led the pack with six nominations. Recognized were Spielberg in the Best Director category and the movie itself for a Best Film trophy.
Tying for fifth place was another movie that will likely make an Oscars appearance, the madcap, multiverse adventure Everything Everywhere All at Once, which picked up five nominations, tying with Viola Davis‘ The Woman King.
Stage and screen vet Alan Cumming will return as host of AARP The Magazine‘s Movies for Grownups Awards, broadcast nationwide by Great Performances on Friday, February 17, at 9 p.m. ET on PBS.

Gunna’s Great Giveaway is back for the holiday season. The rapper’s fifth annual event is set to take place Sunday at a Walmart in College Park, Atlanta.
During the giveaway, the rapper’s representatives will provide gift cards to 1,000 families who filled out preregistration forms prior to the event. According to a flyer, they’ll also receive a “special gift from Gunna.”
Gunna’s Great Giveaway marks another event in his partnership with sustainable waste management and hunger relief company Goodr. He’s previously teamed up with the company for coat giveaways, back-to-school fairs, pop-up grocery markets and more.
“Much respect to Gunna who, no matter what, still finds a way to contribute to the community that raised him,” says Goodr founder/CEO Jasmine Crowe-Houston. “We know that people will struggle unlike any other year this holiday season and it is our honor to maintain Gunna’s legacy of giving back.”
Gunna was one of many charged in Young Thug‘s RICO case. The rapper faced one count of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corruption Act, to which he accepted an Alford plea.
He’s since been released from custody and is required to serve 500 hours of community service.
“While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way,” Gunna said in a statement following his release.
On New Year’s Eve, New York’s Times Square will be rocking with the music of superstars from several different genres, courtesy of ABC’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.
Newly minted Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Duran Duran will take the stage just before midnight to perform a medley of classics from their hit-packed back catalog. In addition, BTS member J-Hope will perform a medley of “Equal Sign,” “Chicken Noodle Soup” and “Butter (Holiday Remix),” and Jax will perform her breakthrough hit “Victoria’s Secret,” as well as her song “90s Kids.”
Meanwhile, legendary boy band New Edition will perform a medley of group, solo and offshoot group hits, including “Rub You The Right Way,” “My Prerogative,” “Poison,” “If It Isn’t Love” and “Cool It Now.”
As usual, Ryan Seacrest will be holding down the fort in Times Square, with help from Liza Koshy. Jesse James Decker will be the Powerball co-host.

Songwriter Shirley Eikhard, best known for writing Bonnie Raitt’s Grammy-nominated tune “Something To Talk About,” has died at the age of 67, Consequence reports. No cause of death has been revealed.
The Raitt hit, which appeared on her 1991 Grammy-winning album, Luck of the Draw, peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100. The tune was nominated for Record of the Year at the Grammys in 1992, while Raitt won Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for her recording of the track. In 2020 the song was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Eikhard, who was Canadian, also wrote songs that were recorded by artists like Cher, The Pointer Sisters, Anne Murray and Emmylou Harris. She recorded 17 of her own albums, and won two Juno Awards for Best Country Female in 1972 and 1973. She was also named Songwriter of the Year at the Juno Awards in 1992.
Josh Groban is sending his love and support to Céline Dion, who revealed last week she has been diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome and will be postponing her tour once more.
According to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, stiff-person syndrome is a rare neurological disorder that affects the muscles in the torso, arms, legs and more. There is no cure for this condition.
Josh shared his thoughts about Céline with E! News. “I owe so much of the beginning of my career to Céline, and her kindness and her voice,” he began. “She’s an inspiration to so many of us.”
Continued Josh, “She’s given so much love to the world, and to so many of us that have been lucky enough to know her and work with her. We’re just pouring that love back out to her and her family.”
The singer said Céline has “got so much more to give” and that her fans will be there to support her.
Josh first met Céline in 1999 when he filled in for Andrea Bocelli to sing “The Prayer” with her at a Grammy Awards rehearsal. He was just 17 at the time.
Andy Summers is revisiting a Police classic. Summers just announced he’s dropping a new version of “Bring on the Night” on Friday, which he recorded with Italian guitar quartet 40 Fingers.
And it seems Andy may have been hinting at the collaboration earlier this year. He previously posted a video of him and 40 Fingers at his Harmonics of the Night photo exhibition in Hamburg, Germany, back in October. In his announcement, he says the recording was filmed there.
“Bring on the Night,” which was written by the Police frontman Sting, was featured on the band’s sophomore album, 1979’s Reggatta de Blanc. It was also the title track to Sting’s 1986 live album, as well as the 1985 Michael Apted-directed documentary on Sting’s solo career.
(JACKSON COUNTY, Mich.) — Three members of a militia group who were convicted of several crimes in relation to a plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer were given yearslong prison sentences Thursday.
The three men — Pete Musico, Joseph Morrison and Paul Bellar — were convicted in October of providing material support for a terrorist act, the most serious charge, as well as firearms charges and membership in a gang. The charge of support for a terrorist act carried a maximum of 20 years in prison.
Pete Musico, 44, who was the first person to receive his sentencing, was given at least 12 years in prison. Through tears, Musico said before the sentencing he had a “lapse in judgment.” He was sentenced to at least five years for the support of a terrorist act charge and membership in a gang, as well as two years for the firearms charge — all which will run consecutively.
Musico’s son-in-law Joseph Morrison, 28, was sentenced to at least 10 years in prison. He was given at least four years for the two most serious charges and then two years for the weapons charge, all which will run consecutively.
Paul Bellar, 23, received at least seven years in prison. He was given two five-year prison sentences each for support of a terrorist act and gang membership, but will serve them concurrently. He will then serve a two-year sentence for the weapons charge.
“First, I would like to apologize for the highly inappropriate comments that I made in the past,” Bellar said in court before his sentencing. “I would like to apologize to the governor. I am very embarrassed by the comments that I made.”
Whitmer provided taped testimony to the court prior to the sentencing.
Morrison, Musico and Bellar were part of a militia group known as the Wolverine Watchmen, which took part in armed protests at the Michigan state capitol, largely over Whitmer’s strict COVID-19 shutdowns. All three men were photographed at the Capitol, holding rifles, outside Whitmer’s office, during one of those protests in April 2020.
A member of the group eventually turned into a confidential informant in March 2020 after talk turned to harming law enforcement and eventually public officials. Fourteen members of the self-styled militia were arrested in October 2020 and news of the plot to kidnap Whitmer emerged.
On the group’s Facebook page, Bellar “advocated for Governor Whitmer being ‘dragged to the streets and hung’ and threatened to toss a Molotov cocktail at her home after the Governor extended shutdown orders related to the COVID pandemic,” according to prosecutors. Musico allegedly discussed finding the addresses of police officers and killing them and attacking politicians, including Whitmer, in their home, according to prosecutors.
Morrison posted on social media about “coming for” Whitmer, while also talking about trying to “catch that b—- as she came out the emergency exit” during the April 2020 armed protest, per prosecutors.
Other militia members, Adam Fox and Barry Croft Jr., were convicted in federal court of the most serious charges in a retrial in August after a previous trial ended in a hung jury. Fox and Croft face life in prison in sentencing hearings on Dec. 27 and Dec. 28, respectively. A judge rejected a request for a retrial last month.
Fox and Croft “intended to kidnap Governor Whitmer from her vacation cottage near Elk Rapids, Michigan” and use “destructive devices to facilitate their plot by harming and hindering the governor’s security detail and any responding law enforcement officers,” according to the Department of Justice.
Two other members of the militia — Kaleb Franks and Ty Garbin — pleaded guilty to lesser charges and agreed to testify in the federal case against Fox and Croft.
50 Cent‘s business relationship with Starz continues … but just for one more show. The network has announced that it’s developing Fightland, a scripted series about the world of British boxing. 50, born Curtis Jackson, has been tapped as executive producer.
Fightland will specifically follow “a retired, disgraced world champion fighter drawn into the corrupt underbelly of the sport after the disappearance of his childhood best friend and training partner,” according to a press release. “To save his friend, the troubled fighter will have to return to a way of life that nearly destroyed him – one that cost him everything to leave behind.”
Alongside 50, who’s executive producing through his G-Unit Film & Television, are fellow EPs Francis Hopkinson and Katharine Leadbetter of Expanded Media. Sebastian Arboleda, the vice president of original programming, and Alex Alberts, director of original programming, will oversee the series on behalf of Starz.
“‘Fightland’ embodies the stakes, swagger and ambition that collaborations between STARZ and 50 Cent have come to represent,” said Kathryn Busby, president of original programming at Starz. “We are excited to be working with Daniel [Fajemisin-Duncan] and Marlon [Smith] who are brilliant writers and whose authentic take will bring this global story to life.”
The announcement of 50’s role in Fightland comes months after he expressed relief over the end of his contract with Starz. “09-17-22 official day of really owning my content and deciding where and how I do it moving forward,” he previously wrote on Instagram, before announcing he’d let fans “know where we are going shortly.”
In the comment section for a new post about Fightland, he clarified that the upcoming series was “the last show I had to pitch to STARZ” before their deal ended.
