GloRilla has teamed up with Lil Durk for the song “Ex’s (PHATNALL Remix).” The track finds them rapping about their experiences with past partners and is accompanied by a music video that sees them performing their respective verses.
“Don’t tell me nothin’ ’bout my exes, man, them n***** sad (They sad)/ Might get ’em tatted on my face bеcause them n***** dead (Rеst in piss),” raps GloRilla, who’s spotted in a parlor getting the aforementioned tat. She then joins Durk as they rap in front of some luxury cars.
“Ex’s (PHATNALL Remix)” is one of the standout tracks on GloRilla’s newly released EP, the deluxe edition of Anyways, Life’s Great. The project includes its nine original songs with four new additions, including the Durk collaboration and “Nut Quick (Remix)” featuring Trina.
GloRilla’s deluxe EP comes on the heels of her concert with Finesse2Tymes, which took place in Rochester, New York, earlier this month. The show ended with a stampede that ultimately claimed three lives.
“I am devastated & heartbroken over the tragic deaths that happened after Sunday’s show,” GloRilla tweeted. “My fans mean the world to me [sad face emoji] praying for their families & for a speedy recovery of everyone affected.”
GloRilla’s expected to perform at several festivals this year, including Dreamville Fest, Coachella and Roots Picnic.
Kanye West will not face charges after he grabbed and tossed a woman’s phone in January. As ABC News reports, the woman declined to press charges against Ye. The damage to her phone was also minor, solely affecting the device’s $30 case.
The incident occurred as Kanye left daughter North West‘s basketball game, and he was captured by paparazzi, TMZ reports. Footage from another bystander shows Ye approaching the picture-taking woman and confronting her about the incident.
“You didn’t have to run up on me like that,” he said, to which the paparazzo responded, “I wasn’t running. I wasn’t running — but Kanye you’re a celebrity.”
He instructed, “If I say stop, stop with your cameras!” He then reached into her car, grabbed her phone and threw it into the street. The clip was given to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department for evidence.
The phone incident is one of Ye’s latest incidents with paparazzi; he credits his bad experiences with them as the reason he first took prescribed medication.
Taylor Swift is making sure her fans wake up to new music in celebration of her new tour, which kicks off Friday.
Taking to her Instagram Story, the singer announced out of the blue, “In celebration of The Eras Tour I’m releasing 4 previously unreleased songs tonight at midnight.”
The singer used a clock and grinning emoji before revealing which tracks will get the “Taylor’s Version” stamp of approval.
Two songs are from The Hunger Games movies, “Eyes Open” and “Safe & Sound.” For the latter song, she will be joined by The Civil Wars singers Joy Williams and John Paul White.
She also confirmed she’ll release a rerecorded track off her Speak Now album: “If This Was A Movie (Taylor’s Version).” Taylor has yet to release the rerecorded version of Speak Now, so this news will likely excite her fanbase.
Taylor’s fourth and final song appears to be one she’s never released before: “All Of The Girls You Loved Before.” Fans believe the track was recorded for her 2019 album, Lover, but was later rejected.
Taylor didn’t release further details about her four new offerings, but fans are already furiously combing through the new update for Easter eggs.

While U2 certainly has a lot of fans, there are also plenty of people who think they take themselves a bit too seriously, and now Bono is apologizing for that … sort of. In an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, the rocker reads off a so-called apology, before pretty much taking it all back.
“I apologize for having the unreasonableness of youth as I enter my 60s,” he shares. “I apologize for being a singer who will get in your face whatever direction you’re looking. I apologize for not being shy or retiring and for loudly giving thanks for where I go to work. I apologize for stretching our band to its elastic limit.”
He also apologizes for his desire to make “an unreasonable guitar record that rattles my cage and others,” and for “repeating over and over that rock ‘n’ roll is not dead, it’s just older and grumpier, and occasionally makes fireworks out of its mood changes.”
But in the end, he’s not really apologizing for anything: “But most of all, I apologize for apologizing.”
The interview comes as U2 is set to drop their new album, Songs of Surrender, on Friday. Their Disney+ special, Bono & The Edge: A Sort of Homecoming, also premieres Friday.
Paul McCartney was celebrated at a tribute concert in New York City Wednesday night, with an all-star lineup performing some of theRock & Roll Hall of Famer’s classic tunes.
The Music of Paul McCartney, a benefit show put on by New York City entrepreneur Michael Dorf, featured performances by Graham Nash, Nancy Wilson, Wings guitarist Denny Laine, Bruce Hornsby, Natalie Merchant and more, with a special surprise appearance by Patti Smith.
Showbiz 411 reports that Smith treated the crowd to a performance of The Beatles track “She’s Leaving Home,” while the concert also featured performances of “Band on the Run” by Wilson and Laine, “For No One” by Nash, “Yesterday” by Lyle Lovett, “Maybe I’m Amazed” by Betty LaVetteand“Let It Be” by New York’s Resistance Revival Chorus.
The night ended with a finale that featured all the performers singing “Hey Jude.”
Dorf has been organizing these tribute shows since 2004, with previous concerts paying tribute to such artists as The Who, Van Morrison, David Bowie and The Rolling Stones. The concerts raise money for organizations that provide music education programs and opportunities for underserved youth.
HBO Max’s hit video game adaptation The Last of Us wrapped up Sunday night, and after the tense season ender, Pedro Pascal was in the mood for a laugh.
Actually, it seems he was already there before the show even premiered. To his Instagram, Pascal shared a series of funny behind-the-scenes shots, including pics of him and co-star Bella Ramsey laughing hysterically, and a blooper from a scene with her.
The latter has Pascal’s Joel trying to encourage Ramsey’s Ellie on their arduous post-apocalyptic hike through the United States. But as Joel pontificates, Pedro apparently loses his train of thought and runs out of things to say — and then doubles over laughing.
One commenter suggested it was like a famous scene from The Office, when Steve Carell‘s Michael Scott confusingly attempts to explain his managerial prowess.
Pascal said of the clip, “Beldro on the hill,” using the nickname people have given their two characters.
The actor added, “To #TheLastofUs cast, creators, and crew. I would stay alive for any of you. Apocalypse level gratitude.”
Just as Pedro says in the clip, he and Ramsey will indeed “keep going” … into a second season.
(LOS ANGELES) — Thousands of Los Angeles public school employees are poised to go on a three-day strike next week amid stalled union negotiations.
SEIU Local 99 — which represents approximately 30,000 cafeteria workers, bus drivers, custodians, special education assistants and other employees in the Los Angeles Unified School District — announced on Wednesday it will lead a three-day strike from March 21 through March 23 to “protest the school district’s unfair practices.”
United Teachers Los Angeles, which represents more than 30,000 teachers at LAUSD, has also announced it will honor the strike and not cross the picket lines — which could mean no classroom instruction, school officials said.
Workers have been in contract negotiations with LAUSD for nearly a year, according to SEIU Local 99, which has been seeking wage increases, increased staffing for student services and more full-time work. Last month, 96% of its members voted to authorize a strike over the district’s alleged harassment and threats against those engaging in union activities, it said.
“As LAUSD parents and workers, SEIU Local 99 members know a strike will be a sacrifice but the school district has pushed workers to take this action,” Max Arias, SEIU Local 99’s executive director, said in a statement. “Families have been sacrificing for far too long on poverty wages. Students have been sacrificing for too long in school environments that are not clean, safe or supportive for all. Too many workers have been subjected to harassment simply for demanding change.”
The average yearly salary of LAUSD school workers is $25,000, with most working part-time hours, “making it difficult to retain and recruit sufficient staff for student services,” according to the union.
The district — the second-largest in the country — said it has offered the union a 5% wage increase and 4% one-time bonus for the current school year, as well as a 5% wage increase and a 5% one-time bonus for 2023-2024, for all bargaining unit members, as well as pay increases for some workers. The district said it has also “proposed class size reductions in all schools with further reductions and increased staffing in our highest needs schools.”
LAUSD Superintendent Alberto Carvalho charged in a statement Wednesday that the union is “simply refusing to negotiate.”
“With a historic offer on the table that was created in direct response to SEIU’s demands, and with additional resources still to be negotiated, it is deeply surprising and disappointing that there is an unwillingness to do so,” Carvalho said in a statement.
Carvalho also apologized to families and students and said they are “doing everything possible to avoid a strike.”
The next negotiation session is Friday, the district said.

Ed revealed Thursday that he will debut –, which is pronounced Subtract, in its entirety later this month. “I’m doing a very special show at Eventim Apollo on 27th March. Will be playing the new album the entire way through,” he announced.
Ed will be joined by Aaron Dessner of The National, who helped produce the new album. The singer previously revealed Taylor Swift, who worked with Dessner on her folklore and evermore albums, was the person who introduced them.
Ed also revealed a “twelve-piece band” will be there to back him during the show. Tickets are available to purchase now. The FAQ explains the show at London’s Eventim Apollo will be filmed. It is unknown at this time where or when the concert will be aired.
Subtract arrives May 5, and the first song off the album, “Eyes Closed,” will be released on Friday, March 24.

The American Band Tour kicks off March 18 with an appearance at the Clewiston Sugar Festival in Clewiston, Florida, followed by an April 1 headlining date in Akron, Ohio. (NEW YORK) — Meteorologists are predicting flood threats for a large portion of the U.S. this spring.
About 44% of the U.S. is at risk for flooding, Ed Clark, director of National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Water Center, told reporters on Thursday.
There is a risk of flooding in most of the eastern half of the U.S. including most of the Mississippi River Basin, NOAA said. In the West, the historic snowpack along the Sierra Nevada mountain range, combined with elevated soil moisture, is heightening the potential for spring floods across much of California’s coast.
The snow melt will bring much-needed water to California and the Great Basin. The reservoirs that depend on the Colorado River, such as Lake Powell and Lake Mead, are currently at record low water levels following years of drought.
Climate change is driving both wet and dry extremes, NOAA administrator Rick Spinrad said.
Moderate to exceptional drought coverage across the U.S. is at its lowest since August 2020 and is likely to continue improving, or end entirely, across much of California and the Great Basin due to the heavy influx of moisture in recent months.
Extreme to exceptional drought across parts of the southern High Plains will likely to persist through the spring season, with droughts also expected to develop into parts of New Mexico. Across parts of the Northwest U.S. and northern Rockies, drought conditions are also expected to continue. Droughts may develop in Washington state.
The spring wet season is expected to improve drought conditions across parts of the northern and central Plains, while current drought conditions in Florida are expected to improve or be alleviated during the next three months.
Above-average temperatures are likely for much of the southern and eastern half of the U.S. this spring, forecasts show.
For April through June, the greatest chance for above-average temperatures exists from the southern High Plains and northward along the East Coast.
Above-average temperatures are also likely for Hawaii and northern parts of Alaska.
Below-average temperatures are predicted for the central Great Basin and the northern Plains.
NOAA forecasters predict above-average precipitation this spring across the Great Lakes, Ohio Valley and into parts of the mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Below-average precipitation is most likely for the Southwest and parts of the Pacific Northwest.
