New year, better Fivio Foreign. At least, that’s what the rapper is aiming for.

He announced on New Year’s Eve that he’ll soon be checking himself into a rehabilitation center.

“I wanna let y’all know, with the help of my team, my wife, my family, my probation officer, and the people I’ve been talking to: I’m admitting myself into a rehab center in the next couple of days, for like a week or two,” Fivio said in an Instagram video, where he’s seated at a table alongside his wife and their son.

“I had to pay $10,000 to get into it. You know what I’m saying? I just feel like I’m at a point where, you know, I want to change, I wanna live, and I wanna stop making a lot of dumb decisions and a lot of dumb mistakes that I’ve been making,” Fivio said of his decision.

He then asked his fans for their support as he embarks on what he described as a serious journey, adding, “I got my beautiful lifestyle and I don’t want to lose that for nothing.”

It’s not clear what specifically Fivio will be addressing while in treatment.

While Jonas Brothers went nonstop in 2025, Nick Jonas doesn’t seem to be slowing down in 2026.

After ringing in the New Year with a JoBros show in Hollywood, Florida, streamed live on Samsung TV Plus, Nick has released his new single, “Gut Punch,” from his forthcoming album, Sunday Best.

In the song, Nick confronts self-doubt, singing, “Hit me like a gut punch/ I hurt my own feelings/How did I get so good at being mean to myself … Damn, I really hate the way I talk to myself.”

“I tend to be hypercritical of myself, not typically about my appearance or getting older, but I was wondering, ‘Am I doing everything to be the best version of myself? Am I a present and thoughtful husband? Am I a good father?’” Nick says in a statement.

“As time goes by, the stress and complications of life will weigh on you,” he adds. “It’s important to remember there was once a version of you who was carefree and loved the world.”

Nick explained on Instagram that he chose to release “Gut Punch” on New Year’s Day because he felt people would relate to its message. “There’s a lot of pressure to be the perfect version of yourself at the start of the year,” he wrote. “And that’s just not possible and that’s okay.”

Sunday Best will be out on Feb. 6.

Nick’s been playing “Gut Punch” live on the Jonas Brothers’ tour since November, including at the New Year’s Eve show. That concert featured celebrity video appearances from Eli Manning, Jimmy FallonMichael Bublé, Paul Rudd, Will FerrellTina Fey and more, along with highlights from guest performers on tour, such as Alex Warren and Jordin Sparks.

Jelly Roll reveals 275-pound weight loss in new cover story
Jelly Roll is on the cover of the Winter 2026 issue of ‘Men’s Health.’ (AB + DM for ‘Men’s Health’)

Jelly Roll is opening up about shedding 275 pounds and the motivation behind his major weight loss.

The “Beautifully Broken” singer-songwriter is the latest cover star of Men’s Health, fulfilling the dream he shared back in December 2024. He also stars in a new documentary short from Men’s Health, titled A Year for a Life.

“I was killing myself. Literally,” Jelly Roll says. “I mean, I was eating myself to absolute death.”

Men’s Health editorial director Richard Dorment told ABC News the team wanted to find out why Jelly Roll was so determined to make a significant change.

“We really wanted to get to the root of what was driving this desire for transformation,” Dorment said. “So once we started to have that conversation, we really began to understand his why, which was his relationship with food and what he came to think of as a food addiction.”

Jelly Roll doesn’t hold back about his struggles, fears and vulnerabilities in the short film, which follows him for a year as he works toward his transformation.

“Here I was going into my 40s at 500 and some pounds,” Jelly Roll said. “I think I was just trying to find my way into whatever I could, and I think what I was doing was, I felt so misunderstood that I was closet-eating the whole time.”

The film also shows Jelly Roll, now 41, working out, from boxing and doing push-ups to running stairs at arenas.

“I wish I could bottle what I’m feeling right now up and give it to everybody who’s struggling out there,” Jelly Roll says in the trailer. “It is special, it’s different, and it really came through food and exercise. It came through just being willing to pound the pavement and get my heart rate up.”

(CRANS-MONTANA, Switzerland) — Investigators probing the deadly New Year’s Day fire at a Swiss resort bar are looking into the possibility that it started from sparklers that were too close to the ceiling.

Beatrice Pilloud, Valais Attorney General, told reporters Friday that investigators were still conducting interviews and going through evidence from the wreckage at the Le Constellation bar in Crans-Montana but she said that they are “pursuing several hypotheses,” based on the evidence they’ve gathered so far.

“We currently assume that the fire was caused by sparklers attached to champagne bottles that came too close to the ceiling,” she said at a news conference.

“Initial evidence has been secured at the scene,” Pilloud added.

Forty people were killed and 119 people were injured in the blaze, according to authorities who said the fire spread very rapidly.

Investigators are working to identify the deceased victims.

“No mistakes can be permitted. We need to give the correct remains back to the families,” Pierre-Antoine Lengen, the head of the Swiss Judicial Police, told reporters.

Of the injured, 71 were Swiss citizens, 14 were French, 11 were Italian, and others were from Bosnia, Serbia, Portugal and Belgium, according to officials.

The nationalities of the 14 other injured victims were not immediately determined.

Pilloud said that more interviews will be conducted and noted that investigators spoke with the two French managers of the bar.

“For now, there is no penal liability which has been identified,” she said when a reporter asked about any liability.

Investigators are also looking into the building’s safety measures and building regulations, according to Pilloud.

Wedding bells chimed for Este Haim on New Year’s Eve.

The eldest of the HAIM sisters got married to tech entrepreneur Jonathan Levin on Dec. 31, according to Vogue, which documented her final dress fitting ahead of the ceremony.

“I’ve been looking forward to this day since I was five,” Este told Vogue of her wedding. “When I was five, I had this vision of me, coming down a spiral staircase, there’s a scene in Cinderella that probably is what I was mimicking, but I would descend in this giant ballroom gown, and then my fiancé, [my] husband, would be at the bottom and grab my hand.”

According to photos published by People, wedding guests included well-known HAIM pal Taylor Swift, as well as Fleetwood Mac icon Stevie Nicks.

ABC Audio has reached out to reps for HAIM for confirmation.

Taylor Swift recently told Stephen Colbert that she was “very lucky” to have two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Stevie Nicks “in my life in a way that affects me positively constantly.” That friendship was on full display on New Year’s Eve, when both women attended the wedding of a mutual friend.

People shared photos of Taylor and Stevie walking and talking together at the wedding of HAIM‘s Este Haim, who wed tech entrepreneur Jonathan Levin on New Year’s Eve in California. Taylor wore a gold sequin gown paired with a tan shawl and had her hair up, while Stevie opted for an all-black look, as usual.

Taylor and the HAIM sisters have been friendly for a long time. They’ve collaborated on the songs “No Body, No Crime” and “Gasoline,” and HAIM also opened for Taylor on the Eras Tour. In 2024, Este praised their friendship, saying, “[Taylor]’s the best and she deserves every accolade that she’s ever had. She’s a true genius and she’s also like the best friend and the best hang.”

As for why Stevie was there, she’s been a longtime friend and a mentor to the HAIM sisters, much as she has been to Taylor.

While appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Taylor said of Stevie, “Being able to talk to her and have a phone call with her and hear what she’s been through, she paved the way for me and any other artist that get to do this on this level. So I feel very lucky that she’s lended [sic] her very magical, wonderful, wise approach to life to me.”

Este’s ceremony marks the second wedding Taylor has attended for a friend since her own engagement, following Selena Gomez’s. Perhaps, she’s been taking notes for her future wedding to Travis Kelce.

The Smashing Pumpkins have teamed up with Yungblud for a new version of his song “Zombie.”

The “1979” outfit lends their signature ’90s alt-rock sound to the track, while Billy Corgan sings lead on the second verse and harmonizes with Yungblud on the chorus.

Yungblud previously guested on Corgan’s podcast, The Magnificent Others, and they both performed at the massive Back to the Beginning concert in July.

“[Yungblud] is the whole package and so fun to be around so much positive energy and passion,” says Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlin in an Instagram post.

The video for the the Pumpkins-featuring “Zombie” will premiere Friday at 1 p.m. ET.

The original “Zombie” is a single off Yungblud’s 2025 album, Idols. It’s nominated for best rock song at the 2026 Grammys.
