The REFORM Alliance is celebrating the anniversary of the movement that brought it to life: Meek Mill‘s release from prison. In honor of the five-year anniversary, Meek will participate in the alliance’s National Second Chance Town Hall, where he’ll recap some of his experiences alongside criminal justice reform leaders, who will also take the mic to raise awareness about the challenges people face when reentering society, as well as some solutions.

The organization has also announced the recipients of its National Community Partnership Grant program, which provides grants to nonprofits and organizations working on the frontlines to support those negatively impacted by criminal justice policies and advocate for changing laws at all levels.

The REFORM Alliance was formed following Meek’s high-profile case, which was met with the #FreeMeek and raised awareness of the “often overlooked, broken probation and parole system in the United States,” a press release reads.

“I’ll never forget the day Meek was finally set free from prison, and then came to ring the Bell before the 76ers playoff game,” Michael Rubin, Fanatics CEO and REFORM co-chair, said in a statement. “It was a monumental day, but it was really just the beginning for Meek and his efforts to make sure people don’t go through what he went through and give a voice to the voiceless stuck in an antiquated system. I’m grateful to Meek for his passion and advocacy, and we’ll continue to work tirelessly to help change probation and parole throughout the country.”

Ice Spice is one of the newest faces in Kim Kardashian‘s new SKIMS ad, which highlights the Everyday Sculpt and Seamless Sculpt collections. She’s featured along with her “Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2” partner Pink Pantheress, Raye and Nessa Barrett, who each model a different style of shapewear in the campaign video.

“Everybody is wearing SKIMS,” Ice says in the clip. In a statement, she adds the shapewear brand “just gets it and makes me feel extra snatched.”

The new collections are available April 27.

Geezer Butler admits that not every Black Sabbath album was great, and for him, that’s particularly true for 1978’s Never Say Die!, which was their last record with Ozzy Osbourne until 2013’s 13.

“I will say that Never Say Die! is easily the worst album we did,” he tells Metal Edge magazine, explaining that the problem was they “wanted to do it on our own, but in truth, not one of us had a single clue about what to do.”

A major issue, Butler says, is that the band and Ozzy didn’t see eye-to-eye on what they were doing.

“The thing is, we were trying to progress too much musically. We completely lost the plot, I think,” he explains. “We stopped doing the things that made Sabbath what it was and began going from more melodic stuff, which was a mistake looking back.”

He notes, “Ozzy always wanted to still sound like the old version of Sabbath, while Tony (Iommi) and I wanted to expand musically. Looking back, Ozzy was probably right because our expansion caused us to lose what Sabbath was supposed to be about.” 

As for his favorite album, Butler praises 1970’s Paranoid. “It was a totally complete album. It wasn’t forced, and the chemistry between the four of us was so fluid,” he says. “It was the most organic record that Sabbath – in any era – ever made. It was completely natural, as it should have been.”

Old Dominion has dropped a buoyant new song, “I Should Have Married You.”

Penned and produced by Old Dominion’s Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen, Whit Sellers, Geoff Sprung, Brad Tursi and acclaimed songsmith Shane McAnally, the track finds the narrator lamenting over a past romance that he should’ve taken to the altar.

“That’s just the way it goes/ I should have seen it through/ I should have let you know/ I should have said ‘I do’/ Back when I still had the chance, yeah/ I should have married you,” goes the chorus. 

Of the song, Matthew shares, “There must be a lot of people out there that either need to hear this or need to say it. If you dance hard enough and sing loud enough, maybe the regret will go away! So crank up ‘I Should Have Married You.'”

Old Dominion’s latest EP, Memory Lane (Sampler), arrived in January. The four-song set includes the title track, which is number 15 and rising on the country charts.

Kim Kardashian‘s shapewear brand SKIMS has tapped some hot new female musical talents to star in the campaign for the brand’s new collections.

Raye, Nessa Barrett, Ice Spice and her “Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2” partner Pink Pantheress star in the new campaign, which highlights the Everyday Sculpt and Seamless Sculpt collections.

“Ice Spice, Nessa Barrett, Pinkpantheress, and RAYE are super-talented women and truly reflect our SKIMS community,” says Kim in a statement.

“SKIMS just gets it and makes me feel extra snatched,” says Ice Spice in a statement.

Pink Pantheress adds, “These styles empower me to try clothes I wouldn’t have tried before and make me feel so comfortable and secure.”

Raye notes, “SKIMS has changed the game when it comes to inclusivity and representation, and I’m honored to be a part of its community of confident women. This shapewear does exactly what it’s meant to!”

Desiigner‘s plan to enter a rehab facility has not absolved him from facing consequences from his recent actions on a plane. TMZ reports the rapper has been charged with indecent exposure for pleasuring himself on a flight from Asia to the States.

Per the outlet, Desiigner was asked to stop a few times before he moved to the back of the plane, dropping Vaseline in the process. He was then monitored by two people, questioned by police upon arrival and eventually released.

The rapper had said he was ashamed of his actions and would seek professional help for his mental health.

“For the past few months I have not been OK. And I have been struggling to come to terms with what is going on,” Desiigner wrote in his Instagram Story. “While overseas for a concert I performed at, I had to be admitted [into] a hospital, I was not thinking clearly. They gave me meds, and I had to hop on a plane home.”

“I am ashamed of my actions that happened on that plane,” he continued. “I landed back to the States, and am admitting myself in a facility to help me. I will be cancelling all of my shows and any obligations until further notice. Mental health is real guys, please pray for me. If [you’re] not feeling like yourself please get help.”
