Reba McEntire and Brooks & Dunn are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their hit “If You See Him, If You See Her” with a newly recorded acoustic version.
Produced by acclaimed producer Dave Cobb, the track features a more piano- and acoustic guitar-driven production than its original 1998 recording, which became a multiple-week number-one single that year.
“If You See Him, If You See Her” will appear on Reba’s upcoming album, Not That Fancy. Due out October 6, the 14-song collection serves as the companion record to her new lifestyle book, Not That Fancy: Simple Lessons on Living, Loving, Eating, and Dusting Off Your Boots.
Reba’s forthcoming book will hit stores October 10.

Jonas Brothers fans already love Nick Jonas, but a new interview with his wife, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, will likely make them love him more.
Speaking to the spring digital issue of Today, Priyanka reveals that when she met Nick, she doubted things would work out because he was a 25-year-old “rock star” and she wanted to “settle down” and have a baby.
“I wanted stability, and I didn’t give Nick enough credit until I went out with him on our first date,” Priyanka, who was 35 at the time, explains. “We spent the whole evening together, and I realized my husband is just like an old soul. He’s stability in human form.”
She gushes, “He’s my cheerleader. He’s the most secure man I’ve ever been with. He gets extremely excited at my wins.”
Not only that, Priyanka says, but Nick “takes off my extensions at the end of the night. He fixes my dress when I walk off stage and makes sure it looks right when I’m on the carpet. He brings me my coffee first thing in the morning.”
Are you swooning yet? Well, there’s more. Priyanka also appears on Elle’s May digital cover, and she tells the magazine that she and Nick never fight over who’s going to take care of their daughter, Malti, or do the chores.
“We just feel a sense of contribution when it comes to the not-fun stuff,” she says. “I don’t remember having a conversation where I’m like, ‘I need you to do more of this.’”
She also gives one valuable tip: “If you see your partner doing something every day that seems boring for them, just surprise them by doing it. It’s the sweetest thing in a marriage.”

Carol Burnett owes her life — or at least her Better Call Saul character’s life — to series star Bob Odenkirk.
Burnett, who joined the sixth and final season of AMC’s Breaking Bad prequel, played Marion, the mother of Pat Healy‘s Jeff, who recognizes Saul from his days in Albuquerque. The penultimate episode, titled “Waterworks,” ends with Marion recognizing Saul before calling the police and Saul making a run for it.
“Carol, there’s something that you should know,” Odenkirk told the audience during Carol Burnett: 90 Years of Laughter + Love on NBC Wednesday night. “[Series creator Vince Gilligan] wanted my character to kill you in that scene. Look at him, he’s shaking his head. His exact words to me were, ‘Saul ends up killing Carol Burnett.’ And if I remember correctly, he didn’t say, ‘Kill Carol’s character,’ he said, ‘Kill Carol Burnett.’ But I refused, and I told him I’d walk.”
“I was willing to risk my career and never working in this town again. Because I didn’t want little children who watched our show — and I hope many of them did — to see me on the street and say, ‘Mommy, that’s the man who killed Carol Burnett,'” he joked. “That’s all I wanted to say. That I’m your real friend and Vince is not. And one more thing, Vince and I, and everybody on our show, we think you’re the greatest.”
Ringo Starr married actress and model Barbara Bach, who he met in 1980 on the set of the film Caveman.
While the movie was critically panned, it did at least result in a lasting relationship, as the couple is still married to this day.
The marriage was the second for both stars, with Ringo having previously been married to Maureen Cox from 1965 to 1975, with whom he had three children.
In 2008, Starr gained a fellow rocker as a brother-in-law when The Eagles’Joe Walsh, a former member of Ringo’s All-Starr Band, married Barbara’s sister Marjorie.

WHAM! The Singles: Echoes From the Edge of Heaven collects all the hits George Michael andAndrew Ridgeley pumped out in their four years of superstardom, including “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go,” “Freedom,” “Everything She Wants,” “I’m Your Man,” “Bad Boys” and “Last Christmas.”

Meanwhile, WHAM! The Documentary is coming to Netflix on July 5. It’ll tell the story of the duo’s formation in 1982 through their final show at London’s Wembley Stadium in 1986.
The film features “unprecedented access to George and Andrew’s personal archive,” according to a press release, and will include rare and previously unheard interviews with George, who died in 2016, and Andrew.
The celebration of WHAM!’s catalog follows George’s posthumous nomination for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. We’ll find out if he’s made it in sometime in May.
(NEW YORK) — E. Jean Carroll returned to the witness stand on Thursday in her federal battery and defamation lawsuit against former President Donald Trump.
Carroll told the jury she had been assaulted by then-CBS chairman Les Moonves after an interview. She said she and Moonves entered an elevator and then “he pushed me up against the wall.”
Carroll said she told no one and Moonves denied it as part of a blanket denial of all allegations women had made against him.
She did not sue Moonves, Carroll said, because “he did not defame me. He did not call me a liar.”
Carroll, however, sued Donald Trump in November 2019 “because he called me a liar. Because he said I accused other men of rape. He said I was an operative or in a conspiracy with the Democratic Party … and he said I was too ugly to rape. So I sued him.”
Anticipating cross-examination, Carroll said no one told convinced her to sue but she “had a conversation” with Republican lawyer and Trump critic George Conway, who Carroll said “does not like Donald Trump.”
After Trump’s defense attorney said Carroll was out for money, she said she was not struggling financially when she filed her lawsuit and was not looking for a large payoff.
“It’s not about the money. It’s about getting my name back,” Carroll said, who added that she is constantly under threat.
“This morning, for instance, I thought I would just take a peek at my Twitter. And there it was again, the onslaught of the lair, slut, ugly, old. It’s not a great way to begin the day. But I could not be more proud to be here.”
On Wednesday, Carroll told the jury “Donald Trump raped me.” She described in sometimes graphic terms the pain of the alleged assault and the weight of Trump’s body against her.
“I remember him being — he was very large and his whole weight came against my chest and held me up there, and he leaned down and pulled down my tights,” Carroll, who testified for nearly three-and-a-half hours, said.
Her testimony may have also given the defense an opening since Carroll conceded she “wasn’t 100% certain” when the alleged attack occurred.
“This question, the when, the when, the date has just been something that I am constantly trying to pin down. It’s very difficult,” Carroll said.
Anticipating other possible lines of cross-examination, Carroll’s attorneys asked her whether she had watched “The Apprentice,” Trump’s reality television show. When she said she had, her attorney, Michael Ferrara, asked why.
“I love the premise of ambitious young businesspeople competing for a job. I thought that was really quite witty and it was different. It was so much better than, you know, the dating contests and the beauty contests and those — this was a real contest where you could watch it and learn a thing or two. It was very — it was beautifully produced,” Carroll said.
She also testified she still shops at Bergdorf Goodman, where the alleged attack occurred, because “they have some of the loveliest things that the world has ever created.”
It remains unclear if Trump will testify himself at any point. The judge demanded to know this week whether Trump will appear, telling the defense that it was time to “fish or cut bait.”
Trump has denied all allegations that he raped Carroll or defamed her.
The trial is expected to last about five days. The nine-member jury of six men and three women is weighing Carroll’s defamation and battery claims and deciding potential monetary damages.
This week’s trial is taking place as Trump seeks the White House for a third time while facing numerous legal challenges related to the Jan. 6 Capitol attack, his handling of classified material after leaving the White House and possible attempts to interfere in the Georgia’s 2020 vote. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis said Monday she would decide whether to file criminal charges against Trump or his allies this summer.
Carroll’s lawsuit is her second against Trump related to her rape allegation.

Emerson, Lake & Palmer’s Carl Palmer is recovering after undergoing a heart procedure this week. A post on Palmer’s social media accounts reveals that he “underwent a successful ablation procedure to restore sinus rhythm as he was previously in Atrial Fibrillation.”
The post went on to thank Palmer’s doctors and the staff at Sir Reginald Wilson Ward at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, and shared pictures of Palmer before and after the surgery.
Palmer does have some time to recover before he has to get back to work. His The Return of Emerson, Lake & Palmer 2023 Summer Tour, which has him performing alongside footage of his late bandmates Keith Emerson and Greg Lake, is set to kick off July 8 in West Jefferson, North Carolina. Jerry Springer, the former mayor of Cincinnati, Ohio, whose eponymous daytime show transformed talk television, has died, ABC News has confirmed. He was 79.
According to his rep, Springer “died peacefully Thursday at his home in suburban Chicago.”
Jene Galvin, a lifelong friend and spokesman for the family, added: “Jerry’s ability to connect with people was at the heart of his success in everything he tried whether that was politics, broadcasting or just joking with people on the street who wanted a photo or a word.”
He continued, “He’s irreplaceable and his loss hurts immensely, but memories of his intellect, heart and humor will live on.”
The statement concluded, as his shows did, with a final thought: “To remember Jerry, the family asks that in lieu of flowers you consider following his spirit and make a donation or commit to an act of kindness to someone in need or a worthy advocacy organization. As he always said, ‘Take care of yourself, and each other.'”
