Thirty Seconds to Mars premieres new single “Stuck” off upcoming ‘It’s the End of the World’ album

After teasing it last week, Thirty Seconds to Mars has premiered a new single called “Stuck.” Not only that, but Jared and Shannon Leto have also announced the details of their next album.

The sixth studio effort from the “Kings and Queen” outfit is titled It’s the End of the World But It’s a Beautiful Day and arrives September 15.

You can listen to “Stuck” now via digital outlets. Its accompanying video, which Jared describes as a “love letter to some of my favorite photographers,” is streaming now on YouTube.

It’s the End of the World But It’s a Beautiful Day is the follow-up to 2018’s AMERICA, which spawned the singles “Walk on Water,” “Rescue Me” and “Dangerous Night.”

Diddy says he’s facing Jermaine Dupri in a Verzuz, set to go down at New York’s Madison Square Garden

After much back and forth, it appears Diddy and Jermaine Dupri are finally facing off in a Verzuz.

In a clip shared on social media, Diddy is captured telling Busta Rhymes and Fabolous about the forthcoming event. “September 8 at the Garden. Me vs. Jermaine,” says Diddy. “We’re gon’ have you out the rafters flying out the sky.”

Diddy and Jermaine have exchanged words on social media, each boasting about their respective catalogs. Last August, amid the lawsuit between Verzuz co-founders Timbaland and Swizz Beatz and Triller, they agreed to come together and put on a show in Atlanta, in which they’d showcase their records on Diddy’s Bad Boy Records and Jermaine’s So So Def Recordings.

“Since we ain’t f****** with Verzuz no more since ’cause they f****** around with our boys, we don’t need to be going against each other. Let’s come together and do that Bad Boy, So So Def in Atlanta. It ain’t no Verzuz, it’s just hit for hit,” Diddy said, to which Jermaine replied, “Let’s do it.”

His update seemingly took place backstage at Major Food Group’s American Express Presents Carbone Beach event during F1 race weekend in Miami, where he took the stage and performed with Fab and Busta.

Reunited Frankie Goes To Hollywood performs at Eurovision Song Contest

Frankie Goes to Hollywood reunited for the first time in 36 years last weekend for a performance at the opening ceremony of the Eurovision Song Contest, which was taking place in the band’s home city of Liverpool, England.

The classic lineup — Holly Johnson, Brian Nash, Paul Rutherford, Mark O’Toole and Peter Gill — treated the crowd to their number two hit “Welcome to the Pleasuredome.”

“Bless you,” Johnson told the crowd, according to the BBC. “Lovely to see you all.”

Meanwhile, Johnson has more plans to revisit all the Frankie Goes to Hollywood classics, including “Relax” and “Two Tribes.” He just announced he’ll be playing Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on October 21 and the London Palladium on October 27, celebrating “35 years of Blast and 40 years of Relax.”

Burger King goes ‘Into the Spider-Verse’ with Whopper tie-in

Burger King has announced that to help promote the follow-up to the Oscar-winning Sony Animation movie Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse, it’s giving its Whopper a Spidey makeover.

From May 15 through June 21, the Spider-Verse Whopper will feature a red bun and black sesame seeds to match the super suit of Brooklyn’s own friendly neighborhood web slinger, Miles Morales, as seen in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

There will be a limited edition sundae, to boot.

Customers will also be able to customize the burger, “potentially making for nearly as many combination possibilities as there are Spider-Verses,” the franchise says, overselling slightly.

Again starring the voices of Shameik Moore as Miles, as well as those of Oscar Isaac, Daniel Kaluuya, Brian Tyree Henry, Jake Johnson and Hailee Steinfeld, the movie swings into theaters June 2.

DaBaby admits he’d handle controversy surrounding 2021 homophobic rants differently

DaBaby laid low after the controversy surrounding his comments about sexually transmitted diseases and the LGBTQ community at Rolling Loud Miami in 2021. In hindsight, he admits he’d handle things differently if he could.

“I would apologize, I didn’t mean to, like I’m this type of person, like I’m gonna fight to the tooth and nail, like if I, you know what I mean?” he said on a recent episode of The Shop Uninterrupted. “My character and my intentions – that’s something I am never going to let you make me out, I’m not a bad person. I’m unfaltering on that.”

DaBaby had made a controversial shoutout at the show, saying, “If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up,” among other things.

He tried to explain himself and apologize, but the damage had been done. His comments were denounced by many, he was nixed from a few music festivals and he was canceled by many of his fans.

Metallica shares official live “Screaming Suicide” video from first M72 tour date

Metallica has premiered a live video for “Screaming Suicide,” a track off the band’s new album, 72 Seasons.

The performance was recorded during the first date on ‘Tallica’s world M72 tour, which kicked off April 27 in Amsterdam, and marked the live debut of “Screaming Suicide.”

The M72 tour continues May 17 in Paris and comes to the U.S. in August. For each city on the tour, Metallica is playing two shows with completely unique set lists.

George Michael’s family “incredibly proud” of his Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction

George Michael is set to be posthumously inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this year, and the singer’s family is honored that he’s being recognized.

“We are incredibly proud to learn that George will be officially inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame later this year,” read a post on the official George Michael Instagram page, adding, “he would have been honoured to be included in such esteemed company.”

The statement went on to “congratulate the other legendary inductees,” which includes The Spinners, Sheryl Crow and Kate Bush.

Michael led the Hall of Fame fan vote before the official announcement, and the post went on to thank “all of the wonderful fans and those who voted every day for George, thank you for your continued and loyal support.”

The 38th annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony returns to Brooklyn’s Barclays Center this year, with the event going down November 3.

Sum 41 to disband following final album & tour

Sum 41 is saying goodbye.

In a Facebook post Monday, the “Fat Lip” rockers have announced that they will disband following one final album and tour.

“Being in Sum 41 since 1996 brought us some of the best moments of our lives,” the post reads. “We are forver grateful to our fans both old and new, who have supported us in every way. It is hard to articulate the love and respect we have for all of you and we wanted you to hear this from us first.”

The album, titled Heaven :x: Hell, has been in the works since 2022. Full details of the record, as well as the final tour, have yet to be announced.

Sum 41 will still be playing their previously announced tour dates, which include dates with The Offspring this summer and a set at the When We Were Young festival in October.

Formed in Canada in the mid-’90s, Sum 41 became a staple of the early 2000s pop-punk scene with songs including “Fat Lip,” “Still Waiting” and “In Too Deep.” They’ve released seven albums, from 2001’s RIAA Platinum-certified All Killer No Filler to 2019’s Order in Decline.

Sebastian Maniscalco’s opening pitch at Sunday’s Chicago Cubs game was a real bear

Comedian and actor Sebastian Maniscalco came to his hometown of Chicago to promote his new comedy About My Father, and while he was in town, he had the honor of throwing out the first pitch at Sunday’s Cubs game.

While it was an honor, The Irishman co-star shared a laugh about it with ABC Audio. “Well, I just ruptured my bicep a few days ago, so I have a hole in my bicep. So I was worried about, you know, throwing this thing and ripping my arm apart,” he explains.

“But I did almost a lob. It was a high pop fly into the catcher’s mitt.”

That said, the experience gave him pause that brought to mind the title of one of his Netflix comedy specials, Is It Me?

“I thought I was going to get a catcher from the Cubs to catch the pitch,” Sebastian vented. “They put the mascot in there! Now I’m like, ‘When did this start?!’ I thought you get a real player, and here I am pitching to a bear.”

Starring Robert De Niro as his dad, About My Father also stars Kim Cattrall, Leslie Bibb and Workaholics vet Anders Holm. It hits theaters May 26.

Parker McCollum earns third chart-topper with “Handle On You”

Parker McCollum has notched his third consecutive career chart-topper with “Handle On You.”

The song follows in the footsteps of earlier number-one hits, “Pretty Heart” and “To Be Loved By You.”
