Fans of ’80s British new wave have something to look forward to this fall. Squeeze and The Psychedelic Furs are teaming up for a co-headlining tour that will hit North America this September.
The trek kicks off September 8 at New York’s Radio City Music Hall and wraps October 14 at The Pearl Theater in Las Vegas.

The Psychedelic Furs are just about to wrap a spring North American tour. They play Jacksonville, Florida, on May 16, with the tour ending May 20 in Miami Beach, Florida. Meanwhile, Squeeze is set to kick off a U.K. tour on June 17, playing the Sign of the Times Festival in Hertfordshire, England, with dates confirmed through September 3 in London.
Timbaland, like many, has been overwhelmed with life — so much so he once took drugs to help him handle all of its pressures. Speaking with Shannon Sharpe, the producer revealed that his addiction started because he was “not really being sure of who I am.”
“I was married at the time, and doing things, you know, not really knowing who I am, chasing things that’s false and just life got a little bit aggressive, it got the best of me,” Tim explains. He says he started with Vicodin and eventually reached a point where he was taking 160 milligrams of OxyContin daily.
“Everybody that I know who done that have died, so I think I even died at one point in time,” he says. “I had an out-of-body experience where I was laying in the bed, and I saw myself laying in the bed. From that point on, God has changed my mind, and I didn’t go to a doctor. I did it cold turkey. I just started weaning myself.”
In hindsight, Tim says the drug addiction impacted his whole life and brought him to the bottom, where he believes God took him to humble him, as he’d been taking a lot of things for granted. Though he admits they helped his once-introverted self become more social, he says drugs also resulted in statements and behavior that peers Jay-Z, Drake and Chris Brown ultimately checked him for.
“I commend people like that for correcting me on my behavior,” Tim said. “Cuz that’s what we need. Even though it might cut to the knife, I don’t look at [it as] … beef.”
“That’s why I say it’s love,” he continued. “Nobody don’t gotta say nothing to watch you fall.”
The Bachelor is getting a spin-off for the senior set.
“After more than 20 years of fostering young love on The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise,” ABC announced Tuesday its plans for its upcoming reality dating show for the “golden years.”
“The Golden Bachelor showcases a whole new kind of love story,” the network teased, one in which “one hopeless romantic is given a second chance at love in the search for a partner with whom to share the sunset years of life.”
ABC continues, “The women arriving at the mansion have a lifetime of experience, living through love, loss and laughter, hoping for a spark that ignites a future full of endless possibilities. In the end, will our Golden man turn the page to start a new chapter with the woman of his dreams?”
Members of the Bachelor Nation may have noticed casting notices looking for “seniors looking for love,” and it appears now they’ll have their shot.
The lawsuit over the cover artwork of Megadeth‘s The Sick, the Dying … and the Dead! album has been settled, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
As previously reported, artist Brent Elliott White sued Megadeth in February, alleging that the artwork he created for the Sick album was being used by the thrash metallers “all without having paid [White] and without his permission.”
THR now reports that both sides of the suit filed a notice of settlement that reads, “… the parties have reached an agreement in principle for the resolution of this action.” White’s lawyer adds, “The matter has been resolved amicably.”
The Sick, the Dying … and the Dead!, the 16th Megadeth album, dropped last September.

Stallone tells E! Online that Adele insisted on keeping a large statue of him as Rocky, which he had by his pool.
“That was part of the deal. She wanted the statue. That’s the only thing she wanted,” he revealed while doing an interview with his wife and kids to promote his new reality show, The Family Stallone.
“I said, ‘How can I live without my statue?'” Sly continued.
“Oh, please,” wife Jennifer chided him. “We’ve got lots of photos.”
When Adele bought the house, she announced it with a photo that showed her and her boyfriend, Rich Paul, standing outside it, with him holding up the keys. Many fans assumed that he moved in with her, but that hasn’t been confirmed.
John Mellencamp is giving fans another taste of his upcoming album, Orpheus Descending. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer just shared the second single from the record, “The Eyes of Portland.”
The tune has Mellencamp singing about the problem of homelessness in America. He also highlights the crisis in the lyric video for the tune, with images of folks sleeping outside, asking for money, encampments on the street and more.
“All of thesе homeless, where do they come from? In this land of plenty where nothing gets done,” Mellencamp sings. “To help those who are empty and unable to run/ Your tears and prayers won’t help the homeless.”
This is the second single Mellencamp has released from Orpheus Descending, following “Hey God.” The album drops June 2.

(ASHEVILLE, N.C.) — A girl abducted in Illinois in 2017 when she was 9 has been found safe in North Carolina.
Kayla Unbehaun, 15, was located by police in Asheville, North Carolina, after a store employee called the police after recognizing the teen’s mother, who allegedly abducted her daughter in 2017, according to the Asheville Police Department and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
“It was the right thing to do,” the employee who said she called the police, told ABC News, requesting her identity and store not be published.
After investigating the kidnapping, officers consulted with the South Elgin Police Department to identify Heather Unbehaun, who kidnapped her daughter Kayla Unbehaun nearly six years ago, according to the Asheville Police Department.
“It is unusual, but it’s good that when someone does suspect that they recognize someone, no matter how old the story might be, that they are not afraid to give us a call so we can come to investigate,” Asheville Police Lt. Diana Loveland told ABC Asheville affiliate WLOS.
Her father, Ryan Iskerka, last saw then-9-year-old Kayla Unbehaun in 2017 after her mother, who did not have custody of the child, abducted Kayla Unbehaun on July 5, 2017, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
“I’m overjoyed that Kayla is home safe,” Iskerka said in a statement shared by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. “I want to thank @ElginPDFD, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and all of the law enforcement agencies who assisted with her case. We ask for privacy as we get to know each other again and navigate this new beginning.”
The case received attention in news reports and social media in the six years since the abduction. A photo of both Kayla and Heather Unbehaun was featured on an episode of Netflix’s “Unsolved Mysteries,” in an episode devoted to abductions by parents.
“When I found out you were gone, my heart was shattered into a million pieces….But there is nothing I want more than to have you back in my life,” Iskerka wrote in a public note on his daughter’s 12th birthday in 2020.
Heather Unbehaun was wanted in Illinois for child abduction, with an outstanding extradition warrant for her arrest. She is being held in the Buncombe County Detention Facility in North Carolina with a $250,000 bond, according to the Asheville Police Department.
Two long out of print R.E.M. albums are about to hit stores once more. The band just announced that Around The Sun and Collapse Into Now, both originally released late in the band’s career, will be reissued on vinyl July 14.
Both releases are coming on 180-gram vinyl, with the double album Around the Sun being released in opaque white and Collapse Into Now coming out in milky clear vinyl.
Released in 2004, Around The Sun was R.E.M.’s 13th studio album, and featured such songs as “Leaving New York” and “Aftermath.” Collapse Into Now, released in 2011, was the band’s 15th and final record. It featured singles like “It Happened Today,” “Mine Smell Like Honey” and “Oh My Heart.” R.E.M. broke up six months after the album’s release.
Miley Cyrus has dropped the video for “Jaded,” a track from her latest album, Endless Summer Vacation.
In the clip, Miley rolls around topless on a bed, then frolics by the swimming pool — occasionally going in the water — in a series of revealing bathing suits, including a gold one-piece that is so high cut, it looks painful to wear.
“Jaded” is the third single from Endless Summer Vacation, following the mega-hit “Flowers” and “River.” In it, she sings about a failed relationship: “Oh, isn’t it a shame that it ended like that?/ Said goodbye forever, but you never unpacked/ We went to Hell, but we never came back/ I’m sorry that you’re jaded/ I could’ve taken you places.”
She also sings about how tough it is to see someone you loved move on: “I won’t lie, it won’t be easy/ When somebody new is on your body.”
There’s been speculation that this song — as well as “Flowers” and other songs on the album — is about Miley’s ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth, but the singer has never confirmed that.
With the 20th anniversary of Usher‘s highly praised Confessions album approaching next year, the singer has denied any hope that there’ll be a sequel.
“That’s just a rumor, at this point,” he told The Shade Room of a second part to Confessions. “But, who knows? When we get there, we’ll see.”
“We got time. There’s space and opportunity to think of new ideas,” Usher continued, before praising the original album and all those involved in making it a classic. “But the one that is 20 years old was a brilliant one. For every producer, writer and creative that had anything to do with it, we celebrate 20 years of an album,” he said. “I mean, most people don’t even have careers that last that long. So, to have an actual album that has stood the test of time? I appreciate my fans for continuing to love the music.”
Usher’s Confessions dropped in March 2004, featuring the title tracks “Yeah,” “Burn” and “Caught Up.” He performs songs from the album and his entire discography during his ongoing residency in Las Vegas.
