Justin Bieber surfaces on French vacation with wife Hailey

Where in the world is Justin Bieber? Last month he was spotted at Coachella, where he raved about Frank Ocean‘s controversial set, and earlier this month, he accompanied his wife, Hailey Bieber, to the U.K., where she launched her Rhode skin care line. And now, he and Hailey seem to be having a ball on the French Riviera.

Hailey’s been sharing Instagram photos and video of the vacation; in one video, a shirtless Justin is carrying Hailey over his shoulder across a lawn. Singer Justine Skye is also along for the trip, and she posted a photo of Justin hanging out with some guys at Miraval Studios in Correns, France.

Most of the other photos consist of Hailey posing in a series of tiny bikinis while she suns herself on a boat, jumps off a dock, dances with Justine and hangs out in a picturesque French town.

The vacation comes a few weeks after Hailey was quoted by the Sunday Times of London as saying, “I want kids so bad but I get scared. It’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends. I can’t imagine having to confront people saying things about a child.”

Protester with Israeli flag rushes stage at Roger Waters’ Frankfurt show

Roger Waters‘ This Is Not A Drill tour has been met with a lot of controversy in Europe, and it turns out his show in Frankfurt, Germany, didn’t go off without a hitch this weekend.

Fan-shot footage shows protesters in the audience holding up the Israeli flag, and another protestor rushing the stage and pulling out the flag.

As previously reported, Waters opted to leave out certain elements of his show for the Frankfurt audience, including his wearing of a coat that some felt looked like an SS costume. He said he made “this small — but, I hope, significant — gesture” because the venue where the show took place is the site of where over 3,000 Jews were detained and abused in November 1938 before being sent to concentration camps.

Waters’ This Is Not A Drill tour continues through Europe. It hits Birmingham, England, on Wednesday, May 31. A complete list of dates can be found at rogerwaters.com.

‘Wednesday’ creators admit “surprise” at show’s success, call Jenna Ortega a “once in a generation” talent

Alfred Gough and Miles Millar might not be household names, but their latest show certainly is: Wednesday.

The pair created the Netflix phenomenon, based off the work of cartoonist Charles Addams‘ characters from the ’30s, which were adapted into the 1964 TV show The Addams Family, as well as movies decades later.

The pair collaborated with director Tim Burton to bring the show to life, but Gough told The Wrap the success of Wednesday was “kind of shocking.”

“We were very proud of the show, but you never know how people are going to react to it,” he told the trade.

“[I]t’s brought so many emails and texts from people from all eras of our career saying how much they enjoyed it,” Gough says.

“My parents, who are 80, were getting texts from their friends saying it’s the first show they’ve watched with their grandkids. It’s kind of incredible,” he continues.

Millar said he’s even heard that kids started taking cello and fencing classes since the show became a ratings hit — and a viral one, thanks to footage of star Jenna Ortega‘s Wednesday Addams dancing to The Cramps‘ “Goo Goo Muck.”

The pair have re-teamed with Burton and Ortega for a sequel to the former’s 1988 film Beetlejuice and have nothing but praise for the latter, who was briefly dinged by negative headlines when she said she had to “put her foot down” on set to “protect” the character.

Of this, Gough said, “You’re dealing with an iconic character … in a way that’s never been done before.”

He adds, “Once we got Jenna on board, it was a million discussions with her. We all wanted to do the character justice.” Calling her Wednesday “iconic,” Gough said, “Those kind of people come along once in a generation.”

AC/DC’s Brian Johnson shares “eagerness” to get back onstage

AC/DC is one of the big-name rock acts set to headline the upcoming Power Trip festival in Indio, California, and it sounds like they’re raring to go.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers never got to tour behind their 2020 album, Power Up, because of the COVID-19 lockdowns, and frontman Brian Johnson says they can’t wait to finally get to play it live.

“I’m so excited because three years ago we did get together (before) ‘Power Up’ the album came out,” he tells the Fuelling Around podcast. “We started to rehearse in Amsterdam. Phil (Rudd) was back on drums … Honestly, I’ve never heard the band so tight.”

And it sounds like Power Trip may be just the beginning, with Johnson noting, “The most important thing about it all is the eagerness we all feel, the juices are running again.”

As for the festival itself, Johnson says, “I think it’s just a statement to say that rock ‘n’ roll is a legitimate form of music.” The lineup includes Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Tool and Iron Maiden.

“It’s going to be in a beautiful valley, near Coachella, but I don’t get involved in that kind of thing,” he says. “I just like to turn up, get up and just rock my little socks off until I drop.”

Schwarzenegger shares thoughts about “fantastic, kind” Bruce Willis after his retirement

Arnold Schwarzenegger had high praise for his fellow action icon and Expendables franchise co-star Bruce Willis, who was forced to call it a career last year after he was diagnosed with aphasia, a degenerative brain condition.

Speaking to Cinemablend, the Terminator star, who can now be seen in the Netflix action-comedy series Fubar, called the Die Hard legend “fantastic.”

Schwarzenegger added, “He was, always for years and years, is a huge, huge star. And I think that he will always be remembered as a great, great star. And a kind man.”

Arnold continued, “I understand that under his circumstances, health-wise, that he had to retire. But in general, you know, we never really retire. Action heroes, they reload.”

In 2023, Willis’ wife, Emma Heming Willis, updated fans as to her husband’s condition, noting it had progressed to frontotemporal dementia.

In March, Willis was seen in a family video, blowing out the cake for his 68th birthday.

Tina Turner told longtime friend she was “ready to go anytime”

A longtime friend of Tina Turner tells People that the late Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll was ready to embrace the end of her life.

Stephen Sills — that’s Sills, not Stills — is a designer who helped decorate Tina’s home in the South of France and visited her every year in Switzerland. Speaking to People, he says, “She told me two years ago, she said, ‘Stephen, I’m ready to go anytime. I’m not scared of death. I’ve had a wonderful last part of life. I’ve enjoyed it, but I’m tired.'”

Sills says after Tina received a kidney from her husband, Erwin Bach, in 2017, she “struggled with dialysis,” but stayed upbeat. He recalls calling her house three weeks ago to check in with Tina.

“I said, ‘How’s she doing?’ [The housekeeper] said, ‘She’s happy and she’s comfortable. Everything’s good,'” he recalls.

“She was such an amazing friend and she had such a force of creativity,” Sills continues. “The Tina Turner persona of performing, that was a made-up person. We used to talk about it, and she created that and it was a beautiful image. But she was absolutely positive and energetic and interested and curious. She was just an amazing person.”

The two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Famer died May 24 at her home near Zurich, Switzerland, after what was described as “a long illness.” She was 83.

Def Leppard’s ‘Drastic Symphonies’ debuts at #4 on U.K. chart

Def Leppard has a new top five album in the U.K. The band’s recent release with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Drastic Symphonies, debuted at #4 on the Official U.K. album chart.

“Wow. For us to get to No 4 in the UK charts with ‘Drastic Symphonies’ is just very, very special,” frontman Joe Elliott shared upon hearing the news. “Especially as this album has us doing something very different in reimagining some of our biggest hits along with hidden gems with The amazing Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.”

He then thanked their British fans, adding, “We are grateful and truly humbled.”

The album is the band’s ninth top 10 record on the U.K. chart.

Def Leppard is currently on the European leg of their Stadium tour with Mötley Crüe. It hits Krakow, Poland, on Wednesday, May 31. A complete list of dates can be found at defleppard.com.

Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem team up for “The Hillbillies”

Cousins unite on “The Hillbillies,” the new track from Kendrick Lamar and his cousin Baby Keem. Produced by EVILGIANE, the song features an interpolation from Drake‘s 2016 hit “Sticky” and a sample from “PDLIF” by Bon Iver. It’s also accompanied by a video, which finds Kendrick and Keem making their way around hotel lobbies, festivals, shopping malls and more. Tyler, The Creator even makes an appearance in the video, laughing with the cousins and flaunting jewelry, as well as a badge that seemingly confirmed the return of his LA festival. “Camp Flog Gnaw 2023,” the badge reads. The festival last played in 2019.

“The Hillbillies” marks the latest collab between Kendrick and Keem. They previously worked on Kendrick’s “Savior,” Keem’s “family ties” and more.

Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson photobomb Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard’s selfie at Shania Twain concert

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard had a fun surprise while attending the Shania Twain concert Sunday night in Hollywood.

In a series of photos Bell shared on Instagram of her and Shepard, two other stars are seen making an appearance in some of them.

In her first selfie with Shepard, Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks are seen posing with the couple. And in the final two photos, Hanks is seen photobombing a selfie Bell was taking of her and Shepard.

“Saw @shaniatwain at the @hollywoodbowl last night and sat next to some really nice randos!” Bell joked in the caption.

“Dad was crying by the first song and the randos kept photobombing us but other than that it was a perfect night!!!!” she added.

Bell also shared two videos of her and Shepard singing along to some of Twain’s songs. In one video, the two sway and sing along to her hit song “From This Moment On.”

Twain is currently on her Queen of Me tour. The country singer will continue the U.S. leg of her tour
