Coi Leray has “Bops” and she’s letting it be known in the track’s new music video.
Released Tuesday, the video finds Coi dancing in front of plaques for her multi-Platinum single “No More Parties” and Gold track “Big Purr (Prrrd)” featuring Pooh Shiesty, plus her chart-topping artist plaque from Billboard. The singer’s also seen showing off her dance moves while turning up with friends on what appears to be a fun night in.
“Bops” is one of the singles slated to appear on her forthcoming album, COI, due out June 23. The singer previously told Apple Music that she’s excited for the project’s release, as it showcases her “true talent and what God really brought me here to do.”
Bush has released a new version of the band’s song “1000 Years” featuring Evanescence‘s Amy Lee.
As frontman Gavin Rossdale tells Consequence, which premiered the joint recording, the collaboration came together after he asked Lee about singing “1000 Years” with Bush at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium earlier this year.
“She has one my favorite voices ever and so to have her on this track is a mind blower,” Rossdale says of Lee. “She is pure class.”
The duet version of “1000 Years” appears on the upcoming deluxe version of Bush’s The Art of Survival album, due out this Friday, June 9. The original record, which spawned the single “More Than Machines,” dropped last October.

Roger Waters has been getting a lot of backlash over his May concert in Berlin for, among other things, wearing what looked like an SS soldier costume. Well, now the White House has weighed in on the controversy.
During Monday’s State Department press briefing, a reporter asked about a tweet in which the U.S. special envoy to combat antisemitism, Deborah Lipstadt, agreed with the criticism of Waters. In a new statement, the Biden administration backed her up.
According to The Associated Press, the State Department said Waters has “a long track record of using antisemitic tropes to denigrate Jewish people,” noting the Berlin concert in question “contained imagery that is deeply offensive to Jewish people and minimized the Holocaust.”
Lipstadt’s tweet supported another tweet posted by EU antisemitism envoy Katharina vonSchnurbein, condemning Waters and the show. The White House added, “Special Envoy Lipstadt’s quote-tweet speaks for itself.”
As previously reported, Waters has already responded to the criticism over the Berlin show, insisting the parts of his concert getting backlash “are quite clearly a statement in opposition to fascism, injustice, and bigotry in all its forms.” He added that “attempts to portray those elements as something else are disingenuous and politically motivated.”
Ever since Ted Lasso‘s third season finale, fans have had the burning question of whether they’d ever see more of the Richmond AFC gang — and a new social media post from Apple TV+ has just thrown gasoline onto the fire.
The post shows a key trio in their team jackets: Brendan Hunt‘s Coach Beard, Brett Goldstein‘s Roy Kent and Nick Mohammed‘s Nathan Shelley, all looking off camera.
The caption reads, “Smells like potential.”
Of course [spoilers] the third season ended with Jason Sudeikis‘ Ted flying back to the States and Kent taking his job as Richmond’s head manager. Beard had a change of heart about flying back over The Pond and remained as assistant coach, and Nate rejoined the team in an assistant capacity after his heel turn in season 2.
In what will likely be scrutinized by fans like the cover of Sgt. Pepper’s, Beard and Kent appear to be looking at the same thing, while Nathan is glancing off to his right.
Adding to the mystery, Mohammed replied to the streaming service’s surprise post with a “zipped lips” emoji.
The original post had nearly 2 million views on Twitter alone in a matter of hours, while Mohammed’s reply hit 1 million.
In Geezer Butler‘s upcoming memoir, Into the Void, the Black Sabbath bassist reflects on the metal legends’ final reunion in 2011. Rolling Stone has shared an expert from the book, in which he explains how original drummer Bill Ward was left behind.
Though Ward was part of the 2011 reunion announcement, Sabbath severed ties with him a year later.
“I don’t know the ins and outs, because contracts and the like were always sorted out between our lawyers,” Butler writes. “However, I suspect Bill was given an ‘unsignable’ contract because Sharon [Osbourne] didn’t think he was up to a world tour. In fact, I know that Ozzy [Osbourne] and Tony [Iommi] didn’t think he was physically able, because of a shoulder problem and heart condition.”
“We suggested to Bill that he come on tour and do a few songs a show, but Bill, proud bloke that he is, insisted it was all or nothing. I was upset that what should have been a triumphant return for the original lineup had turned into a bit of a soap opera – and ended up making it worse.”
Said soap opera included a war of public statements, including one from Butler saying that Ward had demanded to be paid for playing a charity concert.
“I regret doing that, because I’d ended up doing the band’s dirty work,” Butler writes. “Worse, I’d betrayed Bill’s friendship by not believing his side of the story, which was that he’d actually agreed to do the charity gig for free.”
Into the Void is out now. When asked by Rolling Stone if anything in the book might upset his Sabbath bandmates, Butler replies, “Probably, yeah.”
“But it’s things that were happening at the time, and we’ve all grown up and got through it all since then,” he says.
Ice Spice joined the remix to Taylor Swift‘s “Karma,” which is now her highest-charting song to date. The single jumped from #27 to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, also becoming the rapper’s third top 10 and top five track.
If one Kendrick Lamar isn’t enough for you, you’d probably be satisfied with his latest performance. The rapper took the stage at Primavera Sound in Barcelona over the weekend, and he tapped a bunch of Kendrick lookalikes as his background dancers for the song “Savior.”
Gunplay hand-delivered a gift to Rick Ross for being a constant support in his life. “Gave my big brother a token of my appreciation for believing in me when nobody did…I love you forever my brother thank you!!!” he wrote on Instagram. The gift was an iced-out chain with the words “Anml Shelter,” which is also the name of Gunplay’s collective and 2018 album.
Speaking of Ross, he was blamed for the trash left at a local plaza. Those working there claimed people, possibly a group unable to get into his car show, partied at the plaza, leaving broken bottles and other trash on the ground. Ross’ attorney tells WSB-TV the rapper had nothing to do with the mess at the plaza.
In celebration of a new deal, 50 Cent hosted a dinner at Brooklyn Chop House in Times Square and ordered “every item on the menu,” Page Six reports. He even left a $1,000 tip on the bill.

It’s not every day that a country singer in the most dire of circumstances runs into another country singer’s dad. But, that’s exactly what happened to Chris Janson.
Chris recently recounted to fans how he happened upon Lee Brice‘s father and uncle after his truck broke down. Of course, the odds of that happening were slim, but it did.
“A few days ago, I ran out of gas in the middle of downtown Main Street in my old 86.’ Traffic everywhere…saw these two men across the way on a park bench, and frantically asked if they’d help roll me out of the street. They helped, and we did. Within 30 seconds we had made friends, and as crazy as the world turns….this is @leebrice and @lewisbrice dad, Kenny and their uncle,” Chris shared on Instagram.
“Two GREAT American men, who lent a helping hand to a complete stranger on a random Thursday. I’ll never forget the kindness they both showed me that day. It was awesome,” the “Buy Me a Boat” hitmaker adds. “I say all that, to say all this: There are Good People in this world, and kindness MATTERS. Always try and do something nice for someone, and it will repay you when you least expect it. Love y’all.”

Ahead of the June 16 Netflix release of his sequel to one of the biggest hits in the streaming service’s history, Extraction, Chris Hemsworth sat down with BritishGQ for a wide-ranging conversation.
The 39-year-old Australian actor says he’s happily “unemployed,” enjoying downtime after a “busy 10 years.”
In that time, he shot eight Marvel movies, the original Extraction — written by Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame co-director Joe Russo — and its sequel, and other high-profile projects.
Of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he called criticism from the likes of Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino “super depressing.” He says, “There goes two of my heroes I won’t work with. I guess they’re not a fan of me.”
Instead, he’s “thankful” the franchise kept people going to the movies. “Now, whether or not those films were to the detriment of other films, I don’t know.”
Hemsworth adds, “I don’t love when we start scrutinising each other when there’s so much fragility in the business and in this space of the arts.” He added the two filmmakers are “still my heroes, and in a heartbeat I would leap to work with any of them.”
The actor played any possible future as Thor close to his well-defined chest, but suggested it’s possible. “But I really wanna do some other stuff for a while.”
Hemsworth also shared of the near-fatal snowplow accident suffered by fellow Avenger Jeremy Renner: “None of us really knew how serious it was, I think anything like that, it’s an immediate realization of ‘Wow, any of us can go at any minute.'”
He also said of his marriage to actress Elsa Pataky, “Her sacrifice, commitment, work, support, forgiveness – everything that she has given me over the years … I couldn’t have done any of the things I’ve done without it.”

Lionel Richie counts Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters among his celebrity pals: He appeared in the band’s horror movie Studio 666, and Grohl performed with Lionel when the “Hello” singer was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. But it turns out there’s an even harder-rocking band that wanted to collaborate with Lionel.
It seems chart-topping heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold reached out to Lionel to sing on their new album, Life Is But a Dream… . Speaking with the Nik Nocturnal Podcast, Avenged Sevenfold frontman M. Shadows revealed they reached out to Richie to sing on the track “Beautiful Morning.”
Specifically, they wanted him to sing during the part of the song where the brutal, heavy metal portion ends, and a mellow, Beach Boys-like tune starts, with the lyrics, “It’s a beautiful morning/ it’s a beautiful day/ everybody is smiling/ In a beautiful way.”
“We were talking to Lionel Richie about doing the vocal part there, forever,” Shadows shared. “At the end of the day, he got too busy with America’s Got Talent or whatever.”
We assume Shadows meant ABC’s American Idol, for which Lionel has been a judge since 2018.
“It would’ve been so good,” Shadows says of the missed collaboration. “Everybody would’ve been like, ‘What?'”
