Former KISS guitarist Ace Frehley and Night Ranger are booked to perform at Gettysburg Bike Week, happening July 6-9 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
Frehley will kick off the performances at the All Star Events Complex Friday night, with Night Ranger booked for Saturday.
Gettysburg Bike Week is considered one of the premier motorcycle rallies in the country. It features four days of motorcycle-related events, including an antique bike show, The Moto Mountain Stunt Show and plenty of rides, like the third annual Jeremy Plank Memorial Ride.
Night Ranger is currently celebrating their 40th anniversary on the road, with their next show happening Friday, June 9, in Marietta, Ohio. They will also join Bret Michaels on his Parti Gras tour, kicking off July 15 in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. A complete list of dates can be found at nightranger.com.

(WASHINGTON) — The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that Alabama’s congressional maps violate the Voting Rights Act, the landmark law designed to protect against racial discrimination in voting.
In a 5-4 decision by Chief Justice John Roberts, joined by Justice Brett Kavanaugh and the liberal justices, the court upheld a lower court ruling that said Alabama’s Republican legislature had to redraw its maps to include a second majority-Black district.

On Thursday, Paramount+ revealed the trailer of Special Ops: Lioness, the spy series from Yellowstone franchise and Tulsa King creator Taylor Sheridan.
As previously reported, Oscar winner Nicole Kidman stars and serves as an executive producer on the series, with Guardians of the Galaxy and Avatar franchise lead Zoe Saldaña and Laysla De Oliveira.
Oscar winner Morgan Freeman also stars.
Based on a real-life CIA program, the show follows De Oliveira’s Cruz Manuelos, “a rough-around-the-edges but passionate young Marine recruited to join the CIA’s Lioness Engagement Team to help bring down a terrorist organization from within,” according to the streaming service.
For her part, Kidman plays the program’s supervisor, Kaitlyn Meade, and Saldaña plays Joe, “the station chief of the Lioness program tasked with training, managing and leading her female undercover operatives.”
In the trailer, Joe instructs Cruz, “We locate the wives and daughters of these high value targets, and we place an operative close to them, and we kill the target.”
Kidman’s character says in voice-over about the operation, “If we play this right, it’s over before it’s begun.”
Apparently, however, things go sideways. “So we’re just going to pretend that a CIA Quick Reaction Force didn’t just execute a kill mission in front of CBS News?” Freeman asks, incredulous.
The series also centers on the political maneuvering behind the scenes, with Kidman’s character icily questioning her operatives as to what went wrong.
The series, which also stars Sam Asghari, actor and Britney Spears‘ husband, as well as Jack Ryan‘s Michael Kelly, starts streaming July 23.

(NEW YORK) — It’s been a year since one family’s dream trip quickly turned into a nightmare, when a woman was killed and two children were injured while parasailing on vacation. Now, the woman’s husband is speaking out for the first time with the hope of warning other families to stay safe ahead of summer vacation.
“She kept everything together and she’s always having a smile on her face,” Srinivasrao Alaparthi told Good Morning America of his late wife in an exclusive interview.
On May 30, 2022, Alaparthi’s wife, Supraja Alaparthi, 33, was killed and their young son and nephew were severely injured after the three went parasailing while vacationing in the Florida Keys. During the ride, the weather quickly deteriorated, “pegging” the parasail in a strong wind where it is controlled by the wind and not the speed of the boat, according to a Monroe County Sheriff’s Office incident report that was previously reported by ABC News.
Alaparthi claimed that the boat’s crew could not reel in the parasail because of the weather and alleged that the captain decided to cut the towline with the three passengers still on the parasail. The passengers then dropped to the water and were dragged by the inflated parasail across the water until they collided into a bridge.
“Whatever he was doing, it was concerning for all of us. I didn’t exactly see when he cut the rope,” said Alaparthi. “[It was a] terrifying and horrible moment.”
“Sri is holding the captain’s leg, begging him to please go out there and save them. And he goes ahead and tells ’em, ‘Don’t worry, the bridge will help,” Ricky Patel, an attorney for Alaparthi and his family, told GMA.
The boat’s captain, Daniel Couch, was charged with manslaughter and multiple boating violations last September. He has pleaded not guilty.
Alaparthi’s family has since filed a lawsuit against Couch, Couch’s colleague, the boat company and the marina. The suit alleges the company and marina did not check weather reports, which should have prevented them from sailing. It also claims they failed to provide enough safety equipment, including life jackets on board, and didn’t properly bring the parasail down after losing control.
“There were so many opportunities for them to stop this from happening but yet, there’s failure, after failure, after failure,” said Pedro Echarte, another attorney for Alaparthi and his family.
Echarte said it’s important to not rely on websites alone to book vacation activities and to be sure to know their policies, procedures, and safety equipment.
“Don’t rely upon the signage. Don’t rely upon the websites. Ask questions. ‘What are your policies? What are your procedures? What type of safety equipment you have?’ If it doesn’t smell right, if it doesn’t seem right, don’t go,” said Echarte.
ABC News reached out to the boat company, the marina, and Couch, but has not received comment at this time.
A year later, Alaparthi said that his only wish is that an incident like this never happens to another family and that the lawsuit can help bring about change within the parasailing industry as a whole.
“Having fun is not worth the cost of life. There should be enough safety measures,” he said. “Otherwise, they will end up in a miserable situation.”

Lana Del Rey has released a second collaborative song with her dad, Rob Grant.
The track is called “Hollywood Bowl” and begins with the “Video Games” artist singing, “I know I’m not Joni Mitchell/ But I’ve got a dad who plays like Billy Joel.”
“The vocal range that Lana displays is incredible,” Grant says of “Hollywood Bowl.” “The piano begins with a delicate melody and then builds to a beautiful release … where the music suddenly lifts you up and sweeps you away. The song is like a swallow swooping through the air.”
Del Rey also sings with her father on the song “Lost at Sea,” which dropped last week. Both tracks will appear on Grant’s upcoming debut album, Lost at Sea, which arrives this Friday, June 9.
The latest Lana album is Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd, which dropped in March.
Joni Mitchell fans are getting another taste of her upcoming live album, Joni Mitchell At Newport, a recording of her 2022 Newport Folk Festival performance, which was her first live performance in 20 years.
The latest release is Joni’s performance of the 1971 Blue track “A Case of You,” featuring special guests Brandi Carlile and Marcus Mumford.
Joni Mitchell At Newport will be released July 28 and will feature songs from the onstage “Joni Jam.” Other guests on the album include Carlile’s bandmates Phil and Tim Hanseroth, Wynonna Judd, Celisse, Lucius’ Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig and Dawes’ Taylor Goldsmith.
The new song release comes ahead of Mitchell’s return to the stage this weekend. She’s set to headline a “Joni Jam” on June 10 at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, Washington, with Carlile as a special guest. The show is the legendary singer’s first ticketed performance in 20 years, and it sold out almost immediately.
Bruce Springsteen married E Street Band member Patti Scialfa in a private ceremony at their Los Angeles home.
The couple started dating in 1988 during the Tunnel of Love tour, while he was separated from his first wife, model Julianne Phillips. Phillips filed for divorce in August of that year.
After living together in New Jersey, Springsteen and Scialfa moved to Los Angeles, where they welcomed their first child, son Evan, in July, 1990. After their marriage, they went on to have two more children, daughter Jessica, born in December, 1991 and son Sam, born in January 1994.
The couple, who currently live in New Jersey, became first time grandparents in July, 2022, when Sam and his fiancée welcomed a baby girl.

When Anna Cathcart found out that her To All the Boys fan-favorite character would be exploring her sexuality as part of Netflix’s spinoff XO, Kitty, she “was just so excited,” she told ABC Audio. In celebration of Pride Month, Cathcart spoke about what it was like to develop Kitty as a queer character on the new series.
“I think our show does it in a way that is really special,” Cathcart said. “We have a lot of different queer characters on our series, as well, and it shows that queer stories are not always the same and everybody’s journey is not always the same. And I hope viewers find comfort in that.”
XO, Kitty offers up multiple love interests for Kitty, including Yuri, a classmate who goes from a romantic rival to a friend she develops feelings for.
“I love that Kitty is just giving herself the space to figure it out. And she doesn’t have to have all the answers,” Cathcart said. “By the end of the season she still doesn’t, and that’s what she’s learning. It’s OK, and it’s part of the process, and what makes it so beautiful.”
One of the best parts of developing Kitty’s character in this way, Cathcart says, is now having this kind of meaningful representation out in the world.
“Seeing this kind of storyline on screen, especially two Asian girls, is really special. To see that dynamic and that specific type of representation is really not super common,” Cathcart said. “Those are the moments that are the most special, when you can tell that it actually impacted somebody in the real world, real life. And it’s always very, very touching to get to be a part of that.”
The pop titan appears on Billboard‘s Rock & Alternative Airplay chart for the first time in her career thanks to “The Alcott,” her collaboration with The National. The track debuted on the ranking this week at #45.
“The Alcott” appears on The National’s new album, First Two Pages of Frankenstein, which dropped in April. The record also includes the single “Tropic Morning News” and collaborations with Phoebe Bridgers.
Swift previously worked with The National guitarist Aaron Dessner on her albums folklore and evermore.
In addition to “The Alcott,” more Taylor Swift rock collaborations are on the way. Her upcoming album Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), a rerecorded edition of her 2010 effort, features Fall Out Boy and Paramore‘s Hayley Williams. It’s due out July 7.
Following the sudden departure of longtime Slipknot keyboardist and sampler Craig Jones, the masked metallers debuted his replacement during their European tour kickoff Wednesday in Austria.
Following the show, the ‘Knot shared a photo of their newest bandmate, who’s of course wearing an identify-concealing mask, in a Facebook post.
We can now look forward to a whole bunch of fan theories trying to figure out who the new Slipknot member is. You may remember that the identity of bassist Alessandro Venturella, who joined in 2014 in place of the late Paul Gray, was revealed when fans were able to match his hand tattoo from a Slipknot video. Meanwhile, percussionist Michael Pfaff, who was long known as “Tortilla Man” when he replaced Chris Fehn in 2019, was unmasked when he happened to visit a Slovenian tourist attraction while on tour.
Slipknot announced Jones’ departure in a since-deleted social media post, writing simply that they’d “parted ways” with him. Jones had been one of Slipknot’s longest-tenured members, having been in the band since 1996.
Slipknot’s European tour is also missing percussionist M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan, who’s sitting out shows to support his wife, who’s dealing with health issues.
Meanwhile, Slipknot just shared a new instrumental track called “Death March,” accompanied by a very creepy video streaming now on YouTube.
