Dierks Bentley is set to headline two shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre this September.
The concerts will take place on September 5 and September 6, with Ashley McBryde, The Red Clay Strays and Harper O’Neill joining as special guests on the first night, and The Infamous Stringdusters, Tanner Usrey and Kaitlin Butts appearing on the second night.
“It’s been seven years since I’ve played Red Rocks, so when I heard that we could get two nights on the schedule there, I jumped at it,” Dierks says of his upcoming shows. “Some of the best concert experiences of my life have been in Colorado, and that venue is certainly at the top of the list. I’m bringing along some of my favorite singers and musicians to give the fans two nights they’ll never forget.”
Tickets go on sale Friday, June 23, at 10 a.m. local time at Dierks.com.
Fans and friends of the Seven Peaks Festival will have access to presale tickets on Thursday, June 22.
(PRESCOTT, Ariz.) — A person was killed by a bear in Arizona on Friday, marking the second reported deadly bear attack in the state, authorities said.
The bear involved in the attack has also been killed, according to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred in the Groom Creek area near Prescott, which is located about 100 miles north of Phoenix. No additional details on the attack were immediately available.
“We have had no other reports that would indicate that the public is in danger,” the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office said.
Following Friday’s attack, the sheriff’s office advised residents to not shoot bears “unless there is an immediate threat,” as it is otherwise against the law.
Aerial footage from the scene showed authorities responding to a forested area. Yavapai County deputies and Arizona Game and Fish Department officials responded to the scene and are investigating.
Arizona is home to only black bears and attacks are uncommon, according to Arizona Game and Fish Department spokesperson John Trierweiler.
Friday’s incident marks the 15th reported bear attack in the state since the late 1980s, and the second fatal one, according to Trierweiler.
The last deadly bear attack occurred in 2011 in Pinetop, the department said.
Linkin Park‘s Mike Shinoda has released a remastered version of his 2018 solo album, Post Traumatic, in honor of its fifth anniversary.
The original Post Traumatic arrived nearly a year after the death of LP frontman Chester Bennington and finds Shinoda dealing with his grief during that time.
“This album was one of the toughest + most cathartic + rewarding projects I’ve undertaken,” Shinoda now says.

Pete Davidson was charged Friday, June 16, with a misdemeanor count of reckless driving after a March car crash into a Beverly Hills home, ABC News has learned.
The former SNL star was behind the wheel of his black Mercedes with his girlfriend and Bupkis co-star Chase Sui Wonders on the evening of March 4when he lost control of the reportedly speeding vehicle, struck a fire hydrant and jumped a curb before the car impacted the side of the home.
In a statement, the Los Angeles County DA’s Office tells ABC News, “We believe that Mr. Davidson engaged in reckless driving, which ultimately resulted in his involvement in a serious collision into a home. Luckily, no one was seriously injured as a result of this collision.”
The statement continued, “We know that reckless driving can have devastating consequences. In 2022, traffic fatalities in Los Angeles have reached the highest levels seen in 20 years. This is an alarming trend that we cannot ignore. As a result, it’s crucial that we take all allegations of reckless driving seriously and hold those responsible accountable.”
(NEW YORK) — The residents of Perryton, Texas, are digging out after a deadly tornado ripped through the small town, destroying at least 200 homes.
Devastation in Texas
Three people in Perryton were killed: Becky Randall, a woman in her 60s who was found in a print shop; Cindy Bransgrove, a woman also in her 60s who was found in a food bank; and Matthew Ramirez, an 11-year-old boy who died at a trailer park, according to Ochiltree County Sheriff Terry Bouchard.
Becky Randall is survived by two sons and four grandchildren, who were “her world,” Randall’s daughter-in-law, Randi Cunningham, told ABC News.
“She loved life. She found joy in everything. There wasn’t a single day that she wasn’t smiling or laughing or making me feel better,” Cunningham said.
Randall grew up in Perryton, Cunningham said.
“She loved this town, and loved the people in it. And they loved her,” she said.
Perryton Fire Chief Paul Dutcher estimated the tornado’s path through Perryton, near the state line with Oklahoma, was about 1.5 miles. Dutcher said 2 1/2 blocks of the downtown area is “completely wiped out.”
Tommy Kerbl’s daughter’s trailer park neighborhood was among the areas hit.
Kerbl helped with the search and rescue efforts for hours and said he found the body of Ramirez, who was thrown more than 150 yards from his trailer home.
“It’s such a panic mode,” he told ABC News. “Mom was screaming crying, there was nothing we could do but cover the kid up.”
“I’ve never seen anything like this in my 33 years doing this,” Dutcher told ABC News as he held back tears. “We know these people. They go to our church, they live and volunteer here.”
Julio Garcia Merces told ABC News that eight people were in his daughter’s trailer home when the tornado touched down.
They first huddled in a back room and hallway, he said, and then he directed everyone to hunker down in a bathroom.
As Merces ushered everyone into the small room, he said the wind threw him into the air and against the wall like a rag doll.
He said he yelled out to God to protect them.
They all survived, but the home is barely standing. They’re now staying at a small hotel nearby while they figure out what’s next.
At least 56 people in Perryton were hurt, with injuries ranging from minor to severe, officials said.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has directed the Texas Division of Emergency Management to deploy state emergency response resources to meet urgent life-safety needs in Perryton.
Abbott said in a statement, “I encourage all Texans to heed the guidance of state and local officials and to take all necessary precautions to protect yourselves and your loved ones. We remain ready to quickly provide any additional resources needed over the course of this severe weather event.”
Fatalities in Mississippi and Florida
Perryton wasn’t the only area hit; tornado warnings and severe thunderstorm watches extended across the South.
One person was killed and at least 69 homes damaged in Mississippi from the severe weather, state officials said, and a tornado struck Pensacola, Florida, killing one person after a tree fell on their home, according to Escambia County Fire Rescue.

More storms are still in the forecast.
A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for eastern Virginia for Friday night.
On Saturday, there’s an enhanced severe weather threat for Oklahoma.
On Sunday, tornadoes and strong winds are in the forecast for Little Rock, Arkansas; Memphis, Tennessee; Jackson, Mississippi; and Birmingham, Alabama.
Meanwhile, dangerous, triple-digit heat is baking the South. Record-high temperatures are possible over the next few days in Houston, San Antonio, Dallas and New Orleans.

Almost exactly 10 years after its release, Avicii’s hit “Wake Me Up,” featuring Aloe Blacc, has been certified Diamond by the RIAA.
That means the track has sold over 10 million units since it came out on June 17, 2013. The song becomes the highest certified dance/electronic song in RIAA history; it’s reached Platinum status 11 times.
“Wake Me Up” spent 54 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number four. It was Avicii’s highest charting hit.
The Swedish DJ/producer — born Tim Bergling — died by suicide in April 2018 at the age of 28.
Dolly Parton duets with Rob Halford on a new song called “Bygones,” a track off the country icon’s upcoming rock album, Rockstar.
On “Bygones,” Dolly and Rob sing about apologizing to an unnamed party who refuses to forgive them and “let bygones be bygones.” Along with vocals from the Judas Priest frontman, the tune features Nikki Sixx and John 5 of Mötley Crüe.
“It is one of my very favorites on the whole album,” Dolly says of “Bygones.” “The song fits with so many couples and coupling my voice with Rob, one of my all-time favorites, made it even more special.”
Rockstar, which includes a mix of covers and originals, will be released November 17. Other guests on the track list include Beatles legends Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, Aerosmith‘s Steven Tyler and Fleetwood Mac‘s Stevie Nicks.
Along with “Bygones,” Dolly’s shared her Rockstar cover of Heart‘s “Magic Man,” featuring Ann Wilson.
Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor is sharing his support for Anders Colsefni‘s upcoming Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. tour in Australia.
As previously reported, Colsefni, the original ‘Knot vocalist, is performing the band’s 1996 debut demo in full during the shows, which kick off in October.
In 1997, Taylor joined Slipknot as their new vocalist, while Consefni moved to percussion and backing vocals before leaving the group altogether shortly thereafter. Taylor has remained Slipknot’s frontman, while Colsefni never returned to the band.
In a tweet reacting to news of Colsefni’s tour, Taylor writes, “Really wish I could be there to see these shows, but I know @anderscolsefni is going to crush them.”
Taylor previously expressed interest in Colsefni rejoining Slipknot after longtime percussionist Chris Fehn parted ways with the band in 2019 amid a financial dispute. However, Colsefni later stated that a reunion would not be happening.

Variety says Andy Muschietti, who previously called the shots on the hit It movies, will be directing Batman: The Brave and the Bold. It’s the first official reboot of the character under co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran‘s superhero unit of Warner Bros. Discovery.
In January, Gunn and Safran laid out their vision for the next decade of the studio’s DC Comics-based slate, with Gunn specifying that projects like Todd Philips‘ Oscar-winning Joker film and its sequel, as well as Robert Pattinson‘s continuing adventures as the Caped Crusader, will still exist as an “Elseworlds” specification: That is, outside of DC Films’ official timeline.
Gunn explained at the time that Brave and the Bold will be based on Grant Morrison‘s “exceptionally influential” comics run of the same name, which posited Bruce Wayne’s estranged assassin son Damian becomes Robin to his Batman.
