The Strokes followed up their new album announcement Monday with the live debut of a new song.
Julian Casablancas and company performed the track, apparently called “Going Shopping,” for the first time during their show Monday night in San Francisco.
Meanwhile, a Strokes fan on Reddit says they received a cassette tape featuring “Going Shopping” in a package after signing up for the band’s mailing list.
As previously reported, The Strokes’ next album is called Reality Awaits and is due out in the summer, exact date TBA. It will mark the first Strokes record in six years, following 2020’s The New Abnormal.
The Strokes will perform at Coachella on Saturday. Their upcoming live schedule also includes sets at Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Just Live Heaven and Shaky Knees.
The title treatment for ‘One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta.’ (Netflix)
The third season of Netflix’s Once Piece now has its title.
The upcoming third installment in the live-action adaptation will be called One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta. Netflix has also announced that season 3 will debut in 2027.
The pirate adventure show is based on Japan’s highest-selling manga series of all time. It follows Monkey D. Luffy during his quest to find the fabled treasure and become King of the Pirates.
An official description for season 3 has also been announced. “War is coming for Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat crew in the desert kingdom of Alabasta, Princess Vivi’s homeland,” the description reads. “A rebellion threatens to tear the nation apart, fueled in secret by one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, the ruthless Sir Crocodile, and his underground syndicate Baroque Works, who seek to conquer Alabasta for themselves.”
Season 3 will find the Straw Hats facing a civil war and a powerful warlord in order “to save Vivi’s kingdom before it crumbles into the sand,” the official description continues.
Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Taz Skylar, Emily Rudd and Jacob Romero starred in season 2, One Piece: Into the Grand Line, which debuted on March 10.
Joe Tracz and Ian Stokes will serve as the co-showrunners for season 3.
“The Alabasta saga is one of the best-loved stories in all of One Piece — and one of our personal favorite arcs — so it’s a huge honor to bring it to life,” Tracz and Stokes said in a press release.
As previously reported, Oh, Mary! creator Cole Escola will play fan-favorite character Bon Clay in the upcoming third season, while Cobra Kai star Xolo Maridueña will play Portgas D. Ace.
Harry Styles, ‘Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally’ (Columbia Records)
Harry Styles has said a big inspiration for the sound of his new album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., was going to see the group LCD Soundsystem live. Now Harry’s booked their frontman for the London music festival he’s organizing this summer.
As previously reported, Harry is curating the lineup for this year’s Meltdown Festival, which will take place at London’s Southbank Centre in June. He’s in charge of booking the acts, and so far has lined up about 16 different artists. One of them is LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy, who also does gigs as a DJ.
The overall lineup spans indie, jazz, electronic and pop acts, both established and new. Some of the names you may have heard of are Dev Hynes aka Blood Orange; Fousheé; Kamasi Washington; and Warpaint.
Harry says in a statement, “Music is my life, every artist involved in this year’s Meltdown festival means so much to me, both as a fan, and a musician. It’s a true honour to host legends who have paved the way for the generations that follow them, as well as new acts that have inspired me to push my creative boundaries.”
Harry will also perform as part of the festival. He’s doing a show at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall on June 16, but ticket details haven’t yet been announced.
The festival will be taking place while Harry is in London playing Wembley Stadium as part of his Together, Together tour.

The annual U.K. music event Wireless Festival has been canceled after rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, was denied entry to the country, with the U.K. Home Office stating that Ye’s presence in the country “would not be conducive to the public good.”
The cancellation comes amid backlash to Ye’s presence at the festival following antisemitic comments he made previously praising Nazis and denigrating Jewish people.
In a statement to ABC News on Tuesday, the U.K. Home Office said, “Kanye West made an application to travel to the UK yesterday via an Electronic Travel Authorisation. The Government has blocked West’s permission to travel, and he does not hold a valid ETA.”
“The decision was made on the grounds that his presence in the UK would not be conducive to the public good,” the interior ministry added.
Festival Republic, the organizer behind Wireless Festival, announced the cancellation in a statement Tuesday, citing the Home Office’s decision.
“As with every Wireless Festival, multiple stakeholders were consulted in advance of booking YE and no concerns were highlighted at the time,” Festival Republic stated. “Antisemitism in all its forms is abhorrent, and we recognise the real and personal impact these issues have had. As YE said today, he acknowledges that words alone are not enough, and in spite of this still hopes to be given the opportunity to begin a conversation with the Jewish community in the UK.”
Festival Republic said refunds would be issued to all ticket holders.
Ye, a controversial figure in recent years, also issued a statement on Tuesday responding to the backlash against his headlining presence at Wireless Festival.
“I’ve been following the conversation around Wireless and want to address it directly,” he wrote in his statement Tuesday. “My only goal is to come to London and present a show of change, bringing unity, peace, and love through my music.”
He continued, “I would be grateful for the opportunity to meet with members of the Jewish community in the UK in person, to listen. I know words aren’t enough — I’ll have to show change through my actions. If you’re open, I’m here.”
Ye has made headlines over the past several years with a series of escalating controversies, including advertising swastika T-shirts on his website, making offensive remarks about Jewish people and praising Adolf Hitler, culminating with the release of a song titled “Heil Hitler” in 2025.
In January, Ye took out an ad in TheWall Street Journal expressing regret for some of his behavior involving antisemitism and Nazi allegiances, attributing his actions to bipolar disorder, which he said caused him to spiral into “a four-month long, manic episode of psychotic, paranoid and impulsive behavior that destroyed my life.”

After securing a spot on Kid Cudi’s upcoming tour, M.I.A. has released a new song titled “Everything.”
The single finds her giving thanks to God for showing up in her life. “All of my love, all of my praise /All of my life and all of my grace,” she sings. “He showed me his face, met me in every place/ He led me out the dark of every single maze.”
It arrives with a visualizer, shot by MAHDY, which mainly finds M.I.A. dancing to the song with children in the desert.
“Everything” is a preview of M.I.A.’s upcoming album, M.I.7, which is set to arrive on April 17.
Her seventh studio album, it features seven songs written in seven places and recorded across Ethiopia, Egypt, India, London, Australia and Los Angeles. It’s described as M.I.A.’s “answer to a gospel album,” her website says, and takes inspiration from the Bible’s Book of Revelation, providing fans with “a spiritual lens for understanding our current times.”
“Everything” is now available to watch on YouTube; the album can be preordered.
M.I.A. will hit the road as part of Kid Cudi’s The Rebel Ragers Tour on April 28.

Sebastian Bach gave music fans a taste of what his upcoming shows with Twisted Sister may sound like.
The former Skid Row frontman was headlining a solo show in Nashville Monday, and was joined for a song by Twisted Sister guitarist Eddie Ojeda. Fan-shot footage posted to social media shows the pair teaming up for a performance of the Twisted Sister classic “I Wanna Rock.”
Twisted Sister original members Dee Snider, Jay Jay French and Ojeda were supposed to launch a reunion tour in April, but the tour was canceled after frontman Snider pulled out due to health issues. Then in March, Ojeda and French announced that Bach would be taking over lead singer duties for “a handful of select dates this fall.”
Snider later revealed on social media that he approved of Bach stepping in for him, noting, “He’s a true fan & will honor what I did with every show!”
Twisted Sister/Bach shows begin Sept. 4 in Palmer, Arkansas. Bach’s next solo show is Friday in West Wendover, Nevada. A complete list of Bach dates can be found at SebastianBach.com.
Foo Fighters’ episode of the Ireland music performance series Other Voices is now streaming online via the RTÉ Player.
The set includes a rendition of an unreleased song called “Of All People,” which will appear on the upcoming new Foos album, Your Favorite Toy, as well as the record’s title track.
A standalone video capturing the “Of All People” performance will premiere on YouTube Wednesday at 9 a.m. ET.
The Other Voices concert also features an opening performance of the song “A320,” which the Foos recorded for the 1998 Godzilla movie. As Dave Grohl tells the crowd, Foo Fighters hadn’t played “A320” live in about 25 years.
Your Favorite Toy is due out April 24. Foo Fighters will play a one-off show in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on April 28, followed by headlining sets at the Welcome to Rockville and BottleRock Napa festivals in May. They’ll launch a full North American stadium tour in August.

Howard Jones is set to headline the Things Can Only Get Better Tour, with a lineup that he’s curated. The tour, named after Jones’ 1985 top-five hit, will feature fellow British ’80s bands Wang Chung, The English Beat and Modern English.
“I dreamed of curating a tour with my favorite bands that could bring some positivity in our troubled times. I’m thrilled that this is actually happening this summer with the Things Can Only Get Better Tour,” says Jones. “I’m so excited to be touring with these amazing talents. Our aim is to bring some joy with the banging pop anthems that we all know and love.”
He adds, “”Things Can Only Get Better’ is a message of hope for a future that we can create, when we stand up for the world we want to live in. Can’t wait to see you this summer!”
The tour kicks off July 19 in Napa, California, and wraps Aug. 23 in Toronto, Canada, with more tour dates to be announced.

(MIAMI COUNTY, Ind.) — A Vietnamese immigrant died in government custody last week, according to a notification sent to lawmakers from Immigration and Customs Enforcement, marking the latest detainee death during the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown.
Tuan Van Bui, a 55-year-old immigrant, died at the Miami Correctional Center in Indiana.
He is the 46th person to die in federal custody during the current Trump administration.
In its notification, ICE said that “onsite staff discovered Bui unresponsive and immediately initiated life-saving measures, including CPR. Staff immediately contacted emergency services personnel, who swiftly responded to the scene and initiated advanced life support interventions.”
The cause of death is under investigation.
ICE officials said that Bui was ordered removed by an immigration judge in 2005 and that he had been arrested “over a dozen times on charges including robbery, theft, assault, criminal conspiracy, reckless endangerment, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute/manufacture, carrying firearms, resisting arrest, and DUI.”
Court records show Bui filed a habeas petition challenging his detention in February. A district judge responded to the petition the day after Bui died, ordering the government to detail its plans for his removal by April 6. The government filed a status report on Monday, after Bui died, but the contents of that report are not public because the habeas petition is sealed.
According to an ABC News analysis of ICE data and the number of detainee deaths provided to Congress, the first 14 months of the second Trump administration represent the deadliest period for the federal detention system in recent years, with the exception of 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic contributed to a spike in deaths.
