Part of Justin Bieber’s Coachella performance on Saturday featured him singing along to an old YouTube video of himself as a little kid playing Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me a River.” Timberlake has since shared some more vintage Bieber video, as well as a message to the singer.
“Man, it’s been a wild journey. It’s been an emotional journey, but anyways, y’know, I grew up listening to Justin Timberlake and so many other beautiful talents,” Bieber said onstage before he started singing along to the video. “I remember this like it was yesterday.”
Timberlake reposted a part of that clip on Instagram, along with a video of himself meeting a very young Bieber. Timberlake’s wife, Jessica Biel, his girlfriend at the time, can be seen off to the side, capturing the moment on video.
“I know this has been a long road. And I know it’s not always a smooth ride,” Timberlake wrote. “I’m proud of you – and you should be proud of you too. Sending love @lilbieber.”
Timberlake also shared the clip of Bieber singing “Cry Me a River” to his Instagram Story with a heart emoji.

Joan Jett and The Blackhearts are heading to the U.K. this summer for their first headlining tour in 16 years.
The tour is made up of four shows, starting July 2 in Glasgow. The tour will then head to Manchester on July 4 and Leeds on July 5, before wrapping July 7 in Wolverhampton.
“We can’t wait to be back on stage in the UK this Summer!” Jett says. “I wrote and recorded ‘Bad Reputation,’ my first solo LP in London. It’s been too long since we’ve been in the UK and we’re excited to see everyone!”
Tickets for all shows go on sale Friday.
Joan Jett and The Blackhearts are also set to open for My Chemical Romance at Wembley Stadium in London on July 10.
Joan Jett and the Blackhearts are set to play several U.S. festivals this year, including Beachlife Festival in Redondo Beach, California, on May 2; BottleRock Napa Valley in Napa, California, on May 23 and Bourbon & Beyond in Louisville, Kentucky, on Sept. 24.

Patrick Muldoon, known for his roles on shows including Days of Our Lives and films including Starship Troopers, has died at age 57, his representative confirmed to ABC News Monday.
Muldoon rose to fame in the early 1990s with his role on Days of Our Lives, on which he originated the role of Austin Reed. He later starred on the primetime soap opera Melrose Place and had a recurring role on Saved By the Bell.
Days of Our Lives paid tribute to its former star on Monday, writing in an Instagram post, “The Days of our Lives family is saddened by the news of Patrick’s untimely passing.”
“As the original ‘Austin Reed,’ he left an indelible mark in Salem both personally and professionally. Our thoughts are with his loved ones, and he will be missed by all of us,” the soap opera posted, alongside a series of photos of Muldoon.
Allison Sweeney, who co-starred with Muldoon on Days of Our Lives, shared memories of the actor in a post on X Monday, writing, “Pat was a rare kind of person—brilliantly talented, endlessly kind, and generous in spirit. I was so lucky to have worked with him when I first started at Days, he made me feel at ease right away. He brought his unique charm and humor to work every day. A truly gifted guy, and one who will be profoundly missed.”
Lisa Rinna, who also starred alongside Muldoon on Days, posted a photo of the pair together in an Instagram Story, alongside a broken heart emoji.
In addition to his TV roles, Muldoon acted on the big screen, including the 1997 movie Starship Troopers, playing the role of Zander Barcalow.
Over his decadeslong acting career, Muldoon accrued nearly 100 acting credits, as well as more than one dozen producing credits and several soundtrack credits, according to IMDb.
Just days before his death, Muldoon shared a post on Instagram promoting a new film he was working on, Kockroach, starring Chris Hemsworth, Taron Egerton and Zazie Beetz.

The singer D4vd has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the “brutal and horrific” death of a 14-year-old girl whose dismembered body was found in his towed Tesla last year in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman announced on Monday.
D4vd — a 21-year-old Los Angeles resident whose legal name is David Burke — was arrested last week in connection with the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez following a monthslong investigation, police said. He is being held without bail.
He faces a slew of charges alleging he committed “lewd and lascivious sexual acts” with the teen while she was under the age of 14, and that he killed her for financial gain “to maintain his very lucrative musical career that Celeste was threatening,” Hochman said during a press briefing on Monday. The charges also allege he mutilated human remains, Hochman said.
Rivas Hernandez, a reported runaway from Riverside County, was last known to be alive on April 23, 2025, when she arrived at D4vd’s home in the Hollywood Hills, according to Los Angeles Police Chief Jim McDonnell. She was never heard from again, Hochman said.
In September 2025, her badly decomposed, dismembered body was found in the trunk of D4vd’s abandoned, impounded Tesla at a Hollywood tow yard, officials said.
Her head and torso were found in one bag, and her arms and legs in another, according to the court documents from Hochman filed in connection with a Los Angeles County grand jury investigation in connection with the teen’s death.
The Tesla had been at the impound lot for two days after being found abandoned on a Hollywood street, investigators said. The towed vehicle was registered to Burke.
Officers had responded to the impound lot “for a foul odor coming from a vehicle,” Los Angeles police said.
The teen may have been dead for several weeks before her body was discovered, police said. Her remains were found a day after her 15th birthday, according to her death certificate.
“During the course of our investigation, detectives learned that she had been involved in a sexual relationship with Mr. Burke when she was a minor and he was an adult,” McDonnell said during the press briefing.
The Los Angeles County medical examiner has made a determination on how she died, according to Hochman. The medical examiner’s findings in the D4vd case are sealed.
The charges come after the Los Angeles Police Department presented the case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office on Monday for filing consideration.
Burke faces a maximum sentence of life, without the possibility of parole, or the death penalty, Hochman said. The DA said his office will decide whether to seek the death penalty at a later time.
D4vd’s attorneys maintained his innocence following his arrest last Thursday.
“Let us be clear — the actual evidence in this case will show that David Burke did not murder Celeste Rivas Hernandez and he was not the cause of her death,” his attorneys said in a statement. “We will vigorously defend David’s innocence.”
Hochman said he has met with members of Rivas Hernandez’s family, saying their “grief is incalculable.”
The “Romantic Homicide” singer’s arrest comes after months of compiling evidence, senior officials told ABC News. The grand jury that was empaneled didn’t play much of a role in getting to this point, they said.

The Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan has announced a new TV deal for his National Wrestling Alliance wrestling league, or NWA.
The NWA flagship program, NWA Powerrr, will air on Comet TV beginning May 1.
“Wrestling was meant to bring fans closer to the action,” Corgan says in a statement. “The NWA has always been about storytelling, personality, and passion. This partnership with Sinclair’s Comet TV is the first step in NWA’s push into free television and allows us to reconnect with audiences the way I experienced wrestling growing up, when it was accessible to everyone.”
Corgan, an avid wrestling fan, purchased NWA in 2017. His work with the company was the subject of the 2024 reality show Billy Corgan’s Adventures in Carnyland, which aired via The CW app and CWTV.com.
As for Corgan’s music career, you can catch him and the Pumpkins play the upcoming Lollapalooza and Darker Waves festivals.
Shaboozey’s ‘The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales’ (American Dogwood/EMPIRE)
Shaboozey will preview his new album, The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales, with a “pop-up saloon experience” starting Friday at Stagecoach.
The fourth record from the “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” superstar is a concept album that is set to arrive July 31.
“It’s a western about revenge told continuously through every song, centered on the character Cherie Lee,” he explains. “It explores so many themes, as many timeless westerns have: revenge, redemption, and romance, through the eyes of a protagonist looking to challenge everything she once thought true about her world.”
“I poured all of myself into this,” Shaboozey continues, “and I hope people become as immersed in the world and the journey as I have. This album was a promise to myself and something, no matter what, I had to keep. It pushed my songwriting and storytelling to new heights, and I couldn’t be more proud to say it’s done and almost yours.”
We’ll get our first taste of the album Friday with the arrival of “Born to Die,” which he’s set to perform on the Today show plaza in New York City.

A Gold record award given to the late Steve Albini for his work on Nirvana’s 1993 album In Utero is going up for auction.
Notably, the certification is not from the RIAA, but in recognition of In Utero going Gold in Indonesia.
“Basic story is that when Steve was sent his RIAA Gold Record Award for In Utero, he returned it to the band’s management, as part of his philosophical stance against major labels and how they operate,” reads a description of the item. “Later, perhaps at the behest of others, he requested that the award be returned. Alas, it was no longer available, although what exactly happened to it is unclear.”
“In its stead, and presumably as a slap-back of sorts, Steve was sent this INDONESIAN Gold Record Award for In Utero,” the description reads. “That was the sole souvenir of the multi-platinum record in his archives. So, no, it is not the RIAA version, whose current whereabouts are unknown, but it IS the one Steve had and kept. Now, it could be a key piece for any world-class Nirvana collection out there.”
The Gold record award is being auctioned by the site SteveAlbinisCloset.com, which launched following the engineer’s death in 2024. It will be sold via a blind auction; anyone interested can email auction@stevealbiniscloset.com with the word “NIRVANA” and the bid amount in the subject line.
The auction ends on May 3 at 4:30 p.m. ET, after which the winning bidder will be notified. The minimum bid is $5,000.

The Superman sequel Man of Tomorrow has started production.
Director James Gunn revealed that cameras have started rolling on the superhero sequel in a post on Instagram Monday.
“From the set of #ManofTomorrow. Shooting now,” Gunn captioned his post.
The photo Gunn shared features a chess board, a bag of opened Ruffles potato chips and a VanKull Department of Corrections badge for an inmate named A. Luthor. One can only assume the badge is for the villainous Lex Luthor, who was portrayed by Nicholas Hoult in Gunn’s 2025 Superman blockbuster film.
In a conversation with Howard Stern in September 2025, Gunn, who also serves as the co-head of DC Studios, said the new film will feature Superman teaming up with his enemy, Lex Luthor.
“It’s a story about Lex Luthor and Superman having to work together to a certain degree against a much, much bigger threat,” Gunn said. “It’s more complicated than that, but that’s a big part of it. It’s as much a Lex movie as it is a Superman movie.”
The director continued, saying, “I relate to the character of Lex, sadly. I really wanted to create something extraordinary with the two of them. I just love the script so much.”
Warner Bros. Pictures will release Man of Tomorrow in theaters on July 9, 2027.
