Paul McCartney was in attendance Wednesday night at a special star-studded London screening of his upcoming documentary, Man on the Run, which looks at McCartney’s life following the breakup of The Beatles, including the formation of his band Wings.
Also in attendance was the film’s director, Morgan Neville, and actor Paul Mescal. Mescal is set to play McCartney in Sam Mendes’ upcoming Beatles films, The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event, which are currently in production and expected to hit theaters in April 2028.
Others checking out the screening include Mescal’s girlfriend, singer Gracie Abrams; McCartney’s kids Stella McCartney and James McCartney; Mumford & Son’s Marcus Mumford; Oasis’ Noel Gallagher; Sharon Osbourne; Paul Weller; and Cruz Beckham.
Man on the Run is set to run in theaters for one day only Thursday and premiere globally on Prime Video on Feb. 27.

Like father, like son. The new trailer for Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man reveals Barry Keoghan as Duke Shelby, the son of Cillian Murphy’s notorious gangster Tommy Shelby, who has taken over the family business.
The clip shows Tommy returning to his old stomping grounds in Birmingham, England, seven years after the events of season 6. As his sister Ada puts it, Tommy’s son has been “running the Peaky Blinders like it’s 1919 all over again.”
We eventually see Tommy coming face to face with his son and pouring a shot of whiskey. “Once, I nearly got f****** everything,” we hear Tommy say. “But ‘nearly’ doesn’t count.”
The movie trailer also shows Rebecca Ferguson as a mysterious new character and Tim Roth as a British fascist sympathizer.
Peaky Blinders the series originally ran from 2013 to 2022. The movie is set during World War II and finds Murphy’s Tommy “driven back from a self-imposed exile to face his most destructive reckoning yet.”
Tom Harper directs the film from a script by Steven Knight. Knight created and wrote the original series.
Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man hits select theaters March 6 and debuts on Netflix March 20.

Rapper Lil Poppa passed away Wednesday at 25 years old.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the news, noting the cause and manner of his death are pending investigation. The office will be conducting an examination Thursday.
Lil Poppa, born Janarious Wheeler, was signed to Yo Gotti’s CMG Records, which is under the Interscope umbrella. He released his latest single, “Out of Town Bae,” on Friday and has worked with artists including Toosii, Lil Duval, Mozzy and Dej Loaf, who all reacted to his death on social media.
“My heart broke today vamp,” Toosii wrote on Instagram. “Every time I asked was you good you said yea brudda. You was one of my only real friends in this s*** bro we came in this together. Last week I called you and you know what we had planned man the fans would’ve loved it bro! I send my love and prayers to yours man. Vamp Life 4 Life rest up Lil Poppa.”
Lil Duval wrote, “this one really hurt me cuz i really cared about @lilpoppa Most of us in Jacksonville knew him since he was a kid. And we all wanted him to win.” He added, “We talked a couple weeks ago he said ‘i know i was suppose been pulled up to camp Duval but i been busy but im definitely pulling up soon’ and i said ‘ain’t no rush it ain’t going no where’ now i wish i would’ve forced it.”
Mozzy posted a photo of Poppa on his Instagram Story, alongside the words, “Damn Pop,” while Dej Loaf posted a photo of her with the rapper, as well as footage of him in the studio.

Volbeat touring guitarist Flemming C. Lund is now officially a permanent member of the band.
“We’re very happy to announce that after this past year of touring and, of course, laying down some scorching solos on [2025 Volbeat album] God Of Angels Trust… we’ve finally ‘put a ring on it’ and [Lund] is officially the permanent lead guitar player in Volbeat,” the Danish rockers write in an Instagram post.
The group adds, “Please join us in giving Flemming a proper ‘welcome aboard,’ and we’ll see you on the road this Summer!”
Lund first started touring with Volbeat in 2023 following the departure of longtime guitarist Rob Caggiano.

The full lineup for the 2026 Milwaukee Summerfest has just been announced. The festival takes place over three weekends — June 18-20, June 25-27 and July 2-4 — across multiple venues.
Artists performing at this year’s Summerfest, some of whom were previously announced, include David Lee Roth, James Taylor, Styx, Gene Simmons Band, Megadeth, Christopher Cross, Little Feat, Don Felder, Third Eye Blind, Modern English, Lisa Loeb, Soul Asylum and Spin Doctors.

She surprise dropped a new single Wednesday, in which she raps about her humble beginnings, her rise to fame and her current lifestyle as a rapper. “News Flash,” she says, is one that finds her being unapologetically herself. “This one was very personal to me. I’m standing in my truth and not apologizing for it,” Yung Miami says in a statement. “I put my confidence, survival, and pain in that song. I’m standing my ground and showing that I’m here now.” She’s set to drop a new song, “Tea Time,” on Friday.

William Shatner will boldly go where many metalheads have gone before, albeit probably not many pushing 100.
The 94-year-old Star Trek legend is set to release a metal album, featuring his take on songs by iconic bands including Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden.
“Metal has always been a place where imagination gets loud,” Shatner says in a statement. “This album is a gathering of forces—each artist bringing their fire, their precision, their chaos. I chose them because they have something to say, and because metal demands honesty.”
“I’ve spent a lifetime exploring in both reality and fiction,” the Captain Kirk actor continues. “Now I am stepping out into the unknown once again with my new project in heavy metal. I am covering Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden as well as a number of new songs written by my team. The whole project is destined for this year. I hope you will join me in the exploration.”
The title and release date of the album has yet to be revealed. It will feature Black Label Society frontman and longtime Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde, who personally gifted Shatner a guitar, alongside a full list of guests to be announced.
After months of teases from guitarist Brian May, Queen has finally revealed details of the upcoming reissue of their sophomore album, Queen II.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band is set to celebrate the record with the release of a remixed, remastered and expanded five-CD + two-LP collector’s edition box set, dropping March 27.
The set includes a 2026 mix of the album, as well as a whole host of bonus material, including previously unheard outtakes and demos, live tracks, radio sessions and what’s described as “intimate fly-on-the-wall audio of Queen in the recording studio.” The set also features a 112-page book with previously unseen photos, handwritten lyrics, the band’s memories of writing and recording the album and more.
“Queen II was the single biggest leap we ever made,” says May of the record, which was originally released in March 1974. “That’s when we really started making music the way we wanted to, rather than the way we were being pushed into recording it.”
“With Queen II, I couldn’t believe how much work we put into it,” drummer Roger Taylor adds. “I think we felt we were evolving our own sound. We were pioneering this sort of multitracking thing. It gave you a tremendous pallet, massive choral effects with just three of us singing.”
In addition to Queen II Collector’s Edition, the reissue will be released as a two-CD deluxe edition and on one-LP vinyl. All formats are available for preorder now.
The Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger released his debut solo album, She’s The Boss.
The album was produced by Jagger, Nile Rodgers and others, and featured contributions from The Who’s Pete Townshend, guitarist Jeff Beck, Herbie Hancock and Sly and Robbie.
It later caused some friction between Jagger and Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, who felt Jagger’s priority should be the band.
She’s The Boss peaked at #12 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album’s lead single “Just Another Night,” which featured Beck on guitar, went on to peak at #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached #1 on the Mainstream Rock charts. The follow-up single, “Lucky in Love,” was a top-40 hit.
Jagger went on to release three more solo albums, his last being 2001’s Goddess in the Doorway.

(NEW YORK) — A second American aircraft carrier — the USS Gerald R. Ford — is heading toward the Middle East amid rising tensions with Iran, accompanied by destroyers and aircraft being redeployed from missions in the Caribbean region, a U.S. official told ABC News.
As negotiations between the U.S. and Iran over Tehran’s nuclear program continue, American aircraft carriers are at the forefront of a major U.S. military buildup in the Middle East. The Ford is expected to join the USS Abraham Lincoln in the region, the latter having arrived there late last month.
The Ford briefly transmitted its location off the coast of Morocco on Wednesday as it approached the Mediterranean Sea, according to data from the MarineTraffic website. The carrier’s location was visible for around two hours.
Also visible on the FlightRadar24 website on Wednesday were two C-2A Greyhound aircraft, which in recent months have been operating off the carrier. The aircraft transmitted their locations off the coast of Portugal, around 230 miles from the Ford’s position.
The Ford is being accompanied by four destroyers as it sails east toward the Middle East.
Three of the destroyers are part of the Ford’s carrier strike group that have accompanied the carrier since it first deployed in June, the fourth destroyer had previously been a part of President Donald Trump’s administration’s surge of military forces in the Caribbean, a U.S. official confirmed to ABC News.
Each of the destroyers is armed with air defense systems that can shoot down incoming missiles and drones, plus Tomahawk cruise missiles that can be used to strike targets up to 1,000 miles away.
F-35 stealth fighter jets are among the U.S. assets heading toward the Middle East, including some that had been deployed to Puerto Rico ahead of the U.S. operation to depose Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
A spokesman for the Vermont National Guard confirmed to ABC News that the 158th Fighter Wing received a change in mission from U.S. Southern Command — which oversees operations in the Caribbean, Central and South America — but did not disclose their new deployment area.
In late January, online flight trackers noted a dozen F-35 fighters taking off from Roosevelt Roads Naval Station in Puerto Rico and landing on the Azores islands in the mid-Atlantic, on their way to the Middle East.
Key Iranian nuclear personnel and facilities were targeted by Israeli and American forces during an intense 12-day conflict in June. But the strikes failed to resolve long-standing U.S. and Israeli grievances related to Tehran’s nuclear program, its ballistic missile arsenal and its support for regional proxy groups.
U.S. and Iranian representatives met in Geneva, Switzerland, this week for talks regarding a possible deal related to Tehran’s nuclear program and its enrichment of uranium. Trump has demanded that Iran commit to “zero enrichment,” a proposal rejected by Iranian officials.
U.S. officials briefed on the negotiations said Iran indicated a willingness to suspend its nuclear enrichment for a certain amount of time, anywhere from one to five years.
The U.S. is also weighing lifting financial and banking sanctions and the embargo on its oil sales, according to a U.S. official.
Following the talks in Geneva, Iran is expected to submit a written proposal aimed at resolving the tensions, a senior U.S. official confirmed to ABC News on Wednesday. It is unclear when the written proposal will be submitted to the U.S.
On Tuesday, a White House official said Iran would provide detailed proposals to address “some of the open gaps in our positions” in the next two weeks.
