Ike Barinholtz, Lisa Ann Walter and more to compete on ‘Celebrity Jeopardy! All-Stars’

An all-star group of some of the smartest celebrities is coming to compete in Celebrity Jeopardy! All-Stars.

Ken Jennings is set to host the quiz show featuring Hollywood’s finest, who will compete for $1 million for a charity of their choice. It will premiere on ABC March 13 and will be available to stream on Hulu the next day.

The lineup of celebrities includes all three of the prior Celebrity Jeopardy! champions, including season 1 winner Ike Barinholtz, season 2 winner Lisa Ann Walter and season 3 winner W. Kamau Bell. They will all attempt to defend their titles against 18 other celebrities, although the three champions will be seeded directly into the tournament’s semifinals.

The other celebrities competing are Margaret Cho, Macaulay Culkin, Rachel Dratch, Mark Duplass, Sean Gunn, Mina Kimes, Cynthia Nixon, Katie Nolan, Patton Oswalt, Andy Richter, Mo Rocca, Ray Romano, Tim Simons, Mira Sorvino, Robin Thede, Jackie Tohn, Steven Weber and Roy Wood Jr.

There will be 10 hourlong episodes of Celebrity Jeopardy! All-Stars, which include six quarterfinal episodes, three semifinal episodes and one finale.

SZA releases ‘Save the Day’ from ‘Hoppers’ soundtrack

SZA is here to “Save the Day.”

The singer has released her new track from the upcoming Disney/Pixar animated film Hoppers.

Her contribution to the soundtrack was a full-circle moment for director Daniel Chong, who listened to SZA’s music while making the film.

“SZA’s music saved me during the making of this movie,” Chong says in a statement. “It was a lifeline during the stress of the filmmaking process, a voice that comforted and inspired me through it all. It felt so perfect to have an original song by SZA, to have her give voice to the movie and its hopeful themes.”

He says the song perfectly captures the emotional journey of the film’s main character, Mabel, an animal lover who uses new technology to “hop” into the mind of a robotic beaver and communicate directly with the animals.

The movie’s soundtrack, featuring an original score composed by Mark Mothersbaugh, debuts the same day as the movie, March 6. A special “Save the Day” vinyl shaped like Mabel is now available for preorder exclusively at Disney Music Emporium.

Former Live member files cease and desist over Ed Kowalczyk’s use of band name

The long saga of legal drama within the band Live now has a new chapter.

Former guitarist Chad Taylor has filed a cease and desist letter over frontman Ed Kowalczyk’s continued use of the Live band name. It comes after Kowalczyk, who formed the group with Taylor, bassist Patrick Dahlheimer and drummer Chad Gracey, claimed majority control of Live in 2022 and fired Taylor from the band. Kowalczyk has been touring as Live without the three other founding members ever since.

Taylor, who posted the cease and desist letter to his Instagram, now says, “I was not ‘fired.’ Ed never had the authority to remove me.”

“I remain a founding shareholder and director of Action Front Unlimited, Inc. — the company that owns the LIVE name and trademarks,” Taylor writes. “As of Feb 16, 2026, his rights to use the LIVE brand were revoked by AFU.”

He continues, “I won’t fight this in public. The courts will handle it. Thank you for the support while we work toward properly restoring LIVE.”

Gracey also posted the letter while declaring, “Your license is revoked.”

ABC Audio has reached out to Live’s rep for comment.

Kowalczyk previously left Live in 2009 and faced legal proceedings over his use of the band name in relation to his own solo shows. He reunited with Live in 2016.

Olivia Dean and Charli XCX top the charts back home

Back home in the U.K., Olivia Dean has landed a 1-2 punch on the chart.

“Rein Me In,” her duet with fellow Brit singer Sam Fender, has topped the Official Singles Chart. The single also set a record for most weeks spent in the Top 40 before reaching #1: It took 35 weeks for it to get to pole position. Olivia now has two U.K. #1 hits after “Man I Need” did the trick in 2025.

Meanwhile, Olivia’s song “So Easy (To Fall In Love With Me)” is right behind “Rein Me In” at #2, and “Man I Need” sits at #4.

And on the U.K. album chart, Charli XCX scores her third #1 album with her soundtrack to the new Emerald Fennell film, Wuthering Heights. She previously topped the chart with 2022’s Crash and 2024’s Brat. Plus, three songs from the soundtrack album are in the Top 40: “Chains of Love,” “Dying for You” and “Always Everywhere.”

We should learn out how well the soundtrack did on the Billboard 200 on Sunday.

New Gregg Allman documentary to hit theaters this summer

A new documentary about legendary Allman Brothers Band frontman Gregg Allman is headed to theaters later this year.

The U.S. independent film production and distribution company Subtext has acquired the doc Gregg Allman: Music of My Soul, with plans to release it in theaters this summer.

“Gregg Allman’s music is woven into the fabric of American culture, and this film captures both the artistry and the humanity behind the legend,” said Brian Levy of Subtext. “We’re proud to bring the film to American audiences, offering devoted fans rare insight and archival material while introducing Gregg’s legacy to a new generation.”

The film, directed by Grammy and Golden Globe award-winning filmmaker James Keach, will feature never-before-seen interviews and rare archival performances, including what’s described as “rarely seen concert footage that captures the Allman Brothers at their creative peak.”

According to the description, the film will trace the rocker’s journey “through profound personal tragedy and hard-won redemption, revealing how his raw honesty and blues-soaked power permanently reshaped American music.”

“I personally connected to Gregg Allman in his close relationship to his brother and his battles with addiction,” says Keach. “For me, Gregg’s incredible voice resonates not just in his music but in his humanity, in overcoming the murder of his father, the early death of his brother Duane, and his personal demons.”

He adds, “His soulful voice and brilliant songs reflect a life of redemption and hopefully will inspire all who witness his journey.”

Trump outlines new plan for tariffs after ‘deeply disappointing’ Supreme Court ruling

Taylor Swift’s ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ named biggest-selling global album of 2025

Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl is the biggest-selling global album of 2025, according to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry.

The album took the #1 spots on the IFPI Global Album Chart, Global Album Sales Chart and Global Vinyl Album Chart, which saw Taylor break her own global vinyl sales record for the fourth consecutive year.

Other albums making the top-10 ranking on the Global Album Chart include the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack, Bad Bunny’s DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, Sabrina Carpenter’s Short ‘n Sweet, Billie Eilish’s HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, SZA’s SOS and Lady Gaga’s Mayhem.

“Taylor Swift topping the IFPI Global Album rankings once again is a clear reflection of the strength of her connection with fans around the world,” IFPI CEO Victoria Oakley said in a statement. “This year’s results also show how truly global today’s music market is, with success being driven across streaming and physical formats by artists from a wide range of countries and genres.”

The IFPI, which represents the recorded music industry business around the world, previously named Taylor the top-selling artist in the world in 2025, and “APT.” by Bruno Mars and ROSÉ as the official biggest-selling global single of 2025.

Megan Moroney says new album ‘Cloud 9’ has ‘everything I love about country music’

Megan Moroney’s long-awaited new album, Cloud 9 is out now, along with lyric videos for all 15 songs. Starting Friday in New York City, she begins her “9 Cities. 9 Days” promotional tour: She’ll travel across the country to visit nine places in all, performing some of her new songs and hits at each stop.

Megan talks about the new album in a note on Instagram, thanking fans for “the pure joy y’all brought me night after night” on her Am I Okay? tour, which coincided with her writing the album. That experience, she writes, “resulted in so may of these songs & ideas so I can’t thank y’all enough for inspiring me.”

“There’s a newfound confidence woven throughout Cloud 9 along with humor, honesty, hearbreak (duh), softness, & love,” she continues. “It’s got everything I love about country music.”

Noting that she got both Ed Sheeran and Kacey Musgraves to appear on the album, Megan writes, “Never in a million years would I have guessed I’d have songs with [them] but I hope it inspired and and all dreamers out there to keep going. Your wildest dreams are not out of reach.”

Megan signs off by writing that she’s “feeling so excited and sooooo grateful!” and adding, “i hope you love it.”

Gorillaz releasing short film alongside ‘The Mountain’ album

Gorillaz will be premiering a short film alongside the release of their upcoming album, The Mountain.

The film is called The Mountain, The Moon Cave and The Sad God. Its accompanying trailer, now streaming on YouTube, features the cartoon Gorillaz members fighting their way through a jungle as they attempt to reach the titular mountain.

“A journey that should’ve been a dream soon became a nightmare,” a creepy voice-over teases.

The Mountain, The Moon Cave and The Sad God will debut on Feb. 27, the same day the album The Mountain drops.

Gorillaz will be performing The Mountain in full during two shows in Los Angeles taking place Sunday and Monday. You can also catch them performing on Saturday Night Live March 7.

Chris Brown returns for 2026 Tycoon Music Festival featuring Sexyy Red, BossMan Dlow and more

Another year, another Tycoon Musical Festival with Chris Brown. The singer is set to return for the 2026 edition of the festival on April 4. The event will make a move to Amerant Bank Arena in Miami, Florida, after previously taking place in Detroit.

Tickets will first become available via the Live Nation presale on Saturday and Sunday. They will then go on sale to the general public on Monday.

The lineup also includes Plies, Sexyy Red, Trick Daddy and Monica, as well as performances from BossMan Dlow, Tank, Rob49 and Loe Shimmy. Additional artists will be announced at a later date.

In other Chris Brown-related news, he’s been telling fans to sit down as he works on his upcoming album, and prepares to release new music and videos in the summer.

“Stepping on S*** ALL SUMMER. Be patient with me,” he wrote on Instagram. “BROWN ALBUM COMING SOON, and make sure Yall save ya money. Summer time is next level. I’m dropping videos and songs.”
