Megan Thee Stallion has been vocal about her mental health, and on Sunday opened up about the moment she decided to seek therapy during a chat with Taraji P. Henson for the i AM the table benefit brunch.

“Through all of that grief, I was just working and trying to be the best Megan I could be,” she said in a clip shared on social media, likely referring to the loss of her mother and grandmother, which occurred months before she was shot in the foot by Tory Lanez.

“I didn’t know I needed therapy until one day I was just like, ‘Damn, I’m really sad, and it’s really scary how sad I am,'” Megan continued. “And it was like, I didn’t care what happened to me. And I didn’t want to feel like that. Like, I should care about my life.”

Meg’s conversation with Taraji took place during the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation’s Can We Talk? Arts and Wellness Multicultural Summit in Maryland just days after she was named Trevor Project‘s Mental Health Champion of the Year.

“My goal has always been to use my platform to help break stigmas around mental health and provide resources for those seeking safe spaces to have honest and heartfelt conversations. Mental health impacts all of us, so it’s important to lead with love and empathy,” Meg said in a press release. “I’m grateful for organizations like The Trevor Project that are committed to spreading awareness and supporting our LGBTQ+ youth in powerful ways.”

As a mental health advocate, Meg shared her journey on the “Never a Bother” youth suicide prevention campaign with the California Department of Public Health and encouraged the youth to do the same via the Ad Council’s “Seize the Awkward” campaign.

She also launched BadBitchesHaveBadDaysToo.com, providing a list of platforms, mental health resources, directories, hotlines and podcasts to those in need.

Robert Irwin is opening up about the “emotional week” he’s had in rehearsals ahead of Tuesday’s Dancing with the Stars dedication night.

The wildlife conservationist, who is competing on season 34 of the dance competition show, took to Instagram on Monday to share who he’s dedicating his dance to on the next episode.

“I’ve been thinking about my mum and her strength,” he wrote. “I’ve been reminiscing on the times we’ve spent as a family and how she has kept my dad part of my life.”

He continued, “This dance is for my mum, it’s for anyone who’s lost someone … and it’s for all the strong mothers of the world who deserve our recognition and appreciation.”

In his post, Robert shared a few black-and-white photos with his pro dance partner, Witney Carson, in the dance studio.

He also posted photos of him and his family when he was younger and a photo of him, mom Terri Irwin and Carson in the dance studio.

Robert is the son of the late Steve Irwin, who was known for his work as an environmentalist and for his documentary series The Crocodile Hunter. Steve died in 2006 from an injury caused by a stingray while filming off the coast of Australia.

Since Steve’s death, Robert, his mom and his sister, Bindi Irwin, have continued to honor his father’s legacy.

DWTS returns Tuesday with the 10 remaining couples paying tribute to the influential people in their lives with moving and meaningful performances, according to a description of the episode.

Former DWTS pro dancer Kym Johnson will also return to the show as a special guest judge.

A new trailer for The Running Man has raced on to the scene.

Paramount Pictures released the new trailer for the upcoming Edgar Wright film on Monday.

Glen Powell stars in the movie as Ben Richards, who enters a televised competition to try to win a cash reward to save his sick daughter.

“In a near-future society, The Running Man is the top-rated show on television—a deadly competition where contestants, known as Runners, must survive 30 days while being hunted by professional assassins, with every move broadcast to a bloodthirsty public and each day bringing a greater cash reward,” according to the film’s official synopsis. “Ben Richards is convinced by the show’s charming but ruthless producer, Dan Killian (Josh Brolin), to enter the game as a last resort. But Ben’s defiance, instincts, and grit turn him into an unexpected fan favorite—and a threat to the entire system. As ratings skyrocket, so does the danger, and Ben must outwit not just the Hunters, but a nation addicted to watching him fall.”

The trailer finds Powell’s Ben going to extremes to stay alive as almost everybody he encounters tries to murder him. We see him jump out of an exploding car off of a bridge, evade innumerable gunshots and survive a burning building.

Also starring in the film are William H. Macy, Lee Pace, Emilia Jones, Michael Cera and Colman Domingo.

The Running Man races into theaters on Nov. 14.

David “Trugoy The Dove” Jolicoeur may be resting in peace, but his spirit is something De La Soul feels in his absence. While promoting Mass Appeal’s Legend Has It series at New York Comic Con, member Posdnuos talked about the process of recording the new album without Trugoy, who is featured on some of the songs.

“Yo, for me, and I’m sure there are people here who are spiritual and understand what I’m saying, it feels like, ‘Dave’s here for me. He’s here.’ There are times where I’m writing rhymes and I’m getting goosebumps ’cause I feel like Dave would be saying, ‘Yo, that’s dope!’” he told moderator Rob Markman.

Posdnuos notes he felt similarly when he came up with the title of the new album, Cabin in the Sky, inspired by the 1943 film that featured an all-Black cast, including Ethel Waters, Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington.

“We’re working and working, and I come across this movie. And I’m like, ‘Yo, this title is crazy!’ Cabin in the Sky. Immediately, I felt Dave,” he said.

Dave passed away of undisclosed causes in February 2023, roughly seven years after De La’s last new album, 2016’s And the Anonymous Nobody.

They’ve released anniversary projects in the year since, but Cabin in the Sky marks their return.

The album is also one of the upcoming releases that is part of Mass Appeal’s Legend Has It series, which sees new projects from some New York hip-hop legends drop throughout 2025. Slick Rick, Mobb Deep and Ghostface Killah already released their records, with albums from Big LNas and DJ Premier on the way.

Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl is showing off on the Billboard charts.

The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, marking Taylor’s 15th #1 album on the chart. She now surpasses Drake and JAY-Z for the most #1 albums among solo artists. She’s second only to The Beatles overall, who have 19 number ones.

The Life of a Showgirl sold just over 4 million equivalent album units in its first week, according to Luminate, with pure album sales totaling just under 3.5 million. That breaks Adele’s record with her 2015 album, 25, which sold 3.482 million units, of which 3.378 million were pure album sales.

All 12 tracks from The Life of a Showgirl take the first 12 spots on the Billboard Hot 100, with “The Fate of Ophelia” landing at #1. The album is the first ever to place all its songs uninterrupted in the top spots.

Taylor celebrated the chart achievements with a post on Instagram, writing in part, “I have 4 million thank you’s I want to send to the fans, and 4 million reasons to feel even more proud of this album than I already was … I’ll cherish this feeling forever.”

Earlier on Monday, Taylor announced Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era (Docuseries), a six-part docuseries on Disney+, and Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show, a concert film captured at the final stop of the Eras Tour in Vancouver. Both projects debut Dec. 12.

As Foo Fighters wrapped their tour of Asia Friday in Japan, drummer Ilan Rubin marked the end of his first live run with his new band.

“First @foofighters tour was absolutely fantastic!” Rubin writes in an Instagram post reflecting on the experience. “Every audience was incredible and such a pleasure to perform for.”

The post also includes video of Rubin performing a drum solo from the tour’s closing show in Japan.

Rubin, who’d played in Nine Inch Nails for over 10 years, joined the Foos in place of drummer Josh Freese, who was let go from the band in May after joining in 2023 following the death of Taylor Hawkins. In a fitting twist, Freese has gone on to rejoin NIN, who he’d previously played with from 2005 to 2008.

Foo Fighters will return to the live stage in November for a pair of shows in Mexico.

Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere hits theaters in less than two weeks, and now the final trailer for the film has been released.

The trailer opens with Springsteen, played by Jeremy Allen White, recording the track “Born in the U.S.A.,” cut with clips of Springsteen performing onstage. While listening to the song, Springsteen stops the track, saying, “No, put ‘Born in the U.S.A.’ on the shelf. I want this record to feel different.”

“Born in the U.S.A.” was originally part of the demos for Springsteen’s 1982 solo acoustic album, Nebraska, but didn’t make the album. It instead became the title track of Springsteen’s 1984 album, which went to #1.

After scrapping “Born in the U.S.A.,” the trailer focuses on Springsteen’s decision to record Nebraska despite pushback from his label and shows the support he received from his manager, Jon Landau, played by Jeremy Strong. It also features clips of White with actress Odessa Young, who plays Springsteen’s love interest in the film.

It ends with White performing Springsteen’s classic tune “Born to Run” onstage in front of thousands of fans.

Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere opens in theaters and IMAX on Oct. 23. Tickets are on sale now.

(LONDON) — President Donald Trump implied Hamas has been given approval to act as a Palestinian police force in Gaza “for a period of time” in the wake of implementing phase one of the ceasefire agreement.

While en route to the Middle East early Monday aboard Air Force One, Trump responded to a question from a reporter about reports of Hamas rearming themselves.

“Well, they [Hamas] are standing because they do want to stop the problems, and they’ve been open about it, and we gave them approval for a period of time,” Trump said.

Trump continued that Palestinians are returning to buildings that have been destroyed, after two years of war, and “a lot of bad things can happen.”

“We want it to be safe. I think it’s going to be fine. Who knows? Who knows for sure?” he said. “But I think it’s going to be fine.”

ABC News has asked the White House for further comment and has not yet received a response.

The first phase of the U.S.-brokered peace deal went into effect on Friday, calling for the return of all living and dead hostages in Gaza in exchange for the release of scores of Palestinian prisoners and a partial withdrawal of Israeli troops from the area.

While Trump’s overall 20-point peace plan proposal calls for the disarmament of Hamas and stipulates the militant group cannot play a role in the future governance of Gaza, these points are not covered by the initial phase of the agreement.

The final 20 remaining living hostages taken by Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023, were returned to Israel on Monday as part of an exchange for nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners held by Israel, officials said.

On Monday, Trump said negotiations on phase two of the peace plan for Gaza had “started,” though he did not specify what that entailed.

“I mean, it started as far as we’re concerned,” Trump said during remarks in Egypt, where he attended a signing ceremony after addressing the Israeli Knesset earlier in the day. “Phase two has started. And, you know, the phases are all a little bit mixed in with each other. You’re gonna start cleaning up. You look at Gaza — it needs a lot of cleanup.”
