Justin Moore‘s one of the relatively few country stars who don’t live in Nashville. Instead, he and his wife and four kids live in his hometown of Poyen, Arkansas.

While the locals certainly realize the “Small Town USA” hitmaker is among them, Justin says he’s much more well known for coaching his kids’ sports teams — and he likes it that way.

“You know, they’re all happy for me and my family and proud for us, but they don’t really care, which is awesome. That’s exactly what I hoped for moving back here, you know,” he says. “And if I walk in school to go get my kids or whatever, I’ve got 10 kids comin’ up going, ‘Hey, coach JM!’ ‘What’s up, coach?’ ‘Hey, coach!’ That’s what they know me as, which is super cool to me.”

Justin’s latest top-25 hit is “Time’s Ticking” from his This Is My Dirt album.

Rod Wave is headed on the road for the Redemption Experience tour. The trek will see him traveling to seven cities, including Los Angeles, Philadelphia, New York, Miami and Atlanta. The tour kicks off on Dec. 7 and comes to an end Jan. 2.

A presale for the tour starts Tuesday at 10 a.m. local time and will run through Wednesday, followed by the general onsale, kicking off Thursday at 10 a.m. local time.

The announcement arrives as Rod releases his new single “Leavin,” an emotionally charged track that finds him discussing the hardships he’s experienced in life and his career.

“It’s so lonely at the top, everything changed on me/ I don’t f*** with them n***** so they hate on me,” he sings on the song. “Mama this your baby, could ya pray for me?/ I’m leavin’ again (Better pray for me), but this time don’t wait on me (On me).”

The song is accompanied by a music video directed by Jerry Production, in which Rod performs his lyrics while looking directly into the camera. The video is now available to watch on YouTube.

Maroon 5‘s Love Is tour, in support of their new album of the same name, is currently underway. The set list so far includes two songs from the new album, “All Night” and “California.” That’s because, as Maroon 5 guitarist James Valentine explains, they know why their fans are coming to see them.

“You know, you go to see your favorite band that’s been around for a long time, and as soon as they say, ‘Hey, here’s our new album,’ then it’s usually time to go get a beer,” James tells ABC Audio. “And we wanna give people what they want. And what they want is the songs that they know.”

Maroon 5 is definitely endeavoring to give fans that with this tour, with hits from “Memories” to “She Will Be Loved” and everything in between. Also on the set list: the Gym Class Heroes collaboration “Stereo Hearts” and “Lost Stars,” which Adam Levine recorded for the soundtrack of his 2013 film Begin Again.

The show is also longer than the one they played during their two-year Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM. And, James explains, there’s one other difference.

“Because we were set up there night to night, I think we took more of an approach of telling the story of the band through the set,” James says of their Vegas shows. “And that was really interesting.”

“I think that we’ve always kind of been like, ‘Hey, here’s our songs. Here’s the songs you want to hear. Let’s sing along. Let’s have a good time,'” he notes. “But it was cool to sort of craft this story that we could tell throughout the set.”

Bruce Springsteen is set to release the Nebraska ’82: Expanded Edition box set, which includes the long-rumored Electric Nebraska. While the recording is something fans have speculated about for years, up until recently Springsteen didn’t know it existed.

“I was taken aback when I found out Electric Nebraska was something real, that we’d gone as far as we had,” he says in a new interview in Mojo. “But we went back and found the tapes, and it was a bit of a shock. It was a surprise to me. And I think it’ll be a surprise to fans.”

Springsteen says fans shouldn’t expect the songs to be full E Street Band takes on the acoustic Nebraska songs.

“For most of the electric versions, we cut the band down to three pieces. And they were just howling. It’s this very primitive sort of rock ’n’ roll,” Springsteen says. “When I went back and listened to it, I was shocked to find that that’s the way that I approached it at that particular moment.”

And while Springsteen chose to release acoustic songs that he recorded on cassette tape, he says it wasn’t necessarily because the electric ones were bad.

“There’s no way to fully and completely understand why one recording seems to be speaking in the right tongue and another isn’t,” he says. “Were they better than the electric versions? That wasn’t even the question. The bedroom recordings did something for me that no other version of the songs seemed to be doing. That was the only measure I could go by.”

Nebraska ‘82: Expanded Edition will be released Oct. 24 in four-LP plus Blu-ray and four-CD plus Blu-ray configurations.

Nicholas Sparks is known for his romance novels, many of which have been adapted into feature films. The author has teamed up with director M. Night Shyamalan for a new supernatural love story, and he recently told Variety the collaboration was a long time coming.

“A long time ago, way back when The Notebook was being adapted for the screen, they approached a writer to write the script — it was M. Night Shyamalan,” Sparks said to the outlet. “He was busy writing this movie, The Sixth Sense. I don’t know if you’ve heard of that movie. I wonder how that eventually did?”

Now, Sparks and Shyamalan have created the new book Remain, which debuts in bookstores on Tuesday. A film adaptation directed by Shyamalan starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Phoebe Dynevor is also on the way.

The pair set out on their collaborative journey by pitching ideas that combined their respective genres: romance and sci-fi. Sparks wrote the novel based on an idea pitched by Shyamalan, and then Shyamalan wrote the film’s screenplay. Another concept, based on a pitch from Sparks, could be possible down the line, the author says.

“If this all works, and we’re in between projects we might do mine. It’s a good love story, little scary,” Sparks said.

As for spoiler-free teases of what fans can expect from Remain, Sparks opened up the possibility of the novel and the upcoming film adaptation not being exactly the same.

“One of the questions I asked Night about is, ‘Do you want the ending to be the same? Do you want the twist to be the same?’” Sparks said. “And we made a decision about that. You’ve gotta read the book and see the movie.”

Mick Jagger has a very unique way of recording music, according Andrew Watt. He produced The Rolling Stones last album, 2023’s Hackney Diamonds.

Watt tells People that the more Jagger sings, the more clothes come off.

“Something that I find really funny when he sings … He comes in every day and he’s wearing a T-shirt, a button-down and a cashmere sweater every day, even if it’s hot,” Watt explains. “As he starts singing, and it starts getting good, the layers start shedding. So, he pulls his sweater off, and he starts unbuttoning his shirt and shedding layers.”

Watt says, “By the time he’s in his T-shirt, he’s full-blown Mick Jagger dancing, singing his a** off. So it’s my job to get him down to the T-shirt pretty much.”

And Watt is apparently good at that job. Hackney Diamonds went on earn The Stones a Grammy for best rock album. Plus, Watt has already confirmed that he’s working with the band on their next release.

In a September interview with Rolling Stone he said, “I’ve said it before, but it’s like working for Batman. When the tongue is up in the air, you just go. … I can say we did some recording together, but that’s all I can say.”
