36 Cinema Distribution is launching its new distribution label with the release of the film One Spoon of Chocolate.

Directed, written and produced by RZA, the film stars Shameik Moore as Unique, a veteran and ex-convict who moves to a small town in search of a fresh start, according to a press release. After an altercation with a local gang, he begins to suspect they may be behind the disappearance of his cousin and other young men in the area. As he searches for answers, Unique becomes a target of both the gang and the local sheriff’s office, which may also be tied to the disappearances, pushing him to fight back alongside his closest friends.

Blair Underwood, RJ Cyler, Paris Jackson, Emyri Crutchfield, Michael Harney and Harry Goodwins also star.

One Spoon of Chocolate was more than 13 years in the making, according to the release. It’s a project that reflects RZA’s evolution as a filmmaker while blending action, drama, suspense and deeper themes.

“At its core, RZA’s One Spoon of Chocolate is a story about a young man trying to better his life while everything around him is shaken,” RZA said in a statement. “Our journeys are shaped by the choices we make and how we choose to live with them. The film is both timeless and timely. Get ready for thrills, chills and some bone-cracking action, followed by a spoonful of thought-provoking substance.”

RZA is teaming with Quentin Tarantino to present the film, which will arrive in U.S. theaters in May. Tarantino teased that the film will “drive audiences wild wherever it screens,” adding, “We’ll sell you a whole seat, but you’ll only use the edge of it.”

36 Cinema Distribution says it will focus on the theatrical release of new films while also reviving classic titles through traditional runs and special screenings.

Charlie Puth and his wife, Brooke Puth, are about to become first-time parents — but to only one child, thank you very much.

On his Instagram Story, Charlie posted a screenshot of a Facebook post that purportedly shows him and “Brooke” — a woman who doesn’t actually look anything like her — grinning and holding up two sonograms, one of “Baby A” and one of “Baby B.” The photo has the caption, “Charlie Puth and his wife have received the joyful news that they’re expecting their first set of twins.”

“If you couldn’t tell … this is obviously fake lol,” Charlie captioned the Story.

Charlie and Brooke got married in September 2024. Last year they announced in the video for Charlie’s song “Changes” that they were expecting their first child by showing a quick glimpse of Charlie putting his hand on Brooke’s belly.

Badflower has canceled the remainder of their U.S. tour, citing “an ongoing health issue with the band.”

“We are very sorry to have to do this,” the “Ghost” rockers write in a Facebook post. “Please get a refund at point of purchase and we look forward to coming back soon!”

Frontman Josh Katz has been dealing with vocal issues during the tour, to the point that during a Feb. 27 show in Salt Lake City, he cut the set short and told the crowd he was ending the trek. In an update posted March 2, Katz shared a video from a doctor’s office and clarified that the tour was not canceled.

“The important thing for me, right now, is that mentally I feel supported,” Katz said. “Certainly enough to continue with this tour and continue my career.”

The tour did continue for another week before making the official cancellation announcement. Eight shows are affected.

The official trailer for Steven Spielberg’s film Disclosure Day has arrived.

Universal Pictures released the film’s official trailer on Thursday. It returns Spielberg to his extraterrestrial roots.

The trailer starts with Josh O’Connor’s character, Daniel Kellner, admitting he has stolen long-kept government secrets about proof of living beings not on Earth.

“Secrets. The data they paid me to protect,” he says.

We also see Emily Blunt as a TV weatherperson from Kansas City. The trailer finds her unable to hold herself together while broadcasting live on air as she is seemingly possessed by something. People from around the world watch her, transfixed and visibly scared.

While most people on Earth don’t understand the gibberish Blunt says while possessed, O’Connor’s Daniel can. He wants to make sure people are made aware of exactly what is going on. “Full disclosure to the whole world,” he says.

Colin Firth, Eve Hewson and Colman Domingo also star in the thriller, which is based on a story by Spielberg.

David Koepp, the writer of Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, wrote the screenplay for this new movie.

Spielberg is the top-grossing director of all time. He previously explored stories about extraterrestrial life in the films E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Close Encounters of the Third Kind and War of the Worlds.

While Megan Moroney’s still metaphorically floating around on Cloud 9 after the release of her new record, in real life she’s pretty busy these days.

The “Beautiful Things” hitmaker made her first appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on Wednesday, tasting unusual flavors of ramen and bonding with Drew over post-breakup paybacks. She also reminisced about coming face to face with more than 15,000 fans during her recent 9 Cities. 9 Days promo tour.

A day earlier, Megan added another feat to her list of accomplishments, selling out her Tuesday debut at RodeoHouston. The Georgia native rode to the stage in her Cloud 9 pink Bronco before delivering a set that included “6 Months Later,” “Am I Okay?,” “Tennessee Orange” and a dozen more songs.
