Oasis‘ classic song “Champagne Supernova” is already over seven minutes long, but if you wished it was about 50 times longer, you’re in luck.

A six-hour ambient mix of “Champagne Supernova” will soundtrack an upcoming photography exhibit opening Nov. 29 at the National Portrait Gallery in London.

Titled Legends, the exhibit spotlights the work of photographer Zoë Law, whose subjects include Oasis’ Noel Gallagher among “over one hundred individuals from the worlds of art, fashion, business and entertainment.”

For more info, visit NPG.org.uk.

Oasis will launch their reunion tour in July 2025, marking the first time Noel and his formerly estranged brother, Liam Gallagher, will share the live stage since breaking up in 2009. The outing comes to the U.S. in August.

(A previous version of this story published Nov. 11 erroneously identified the song “Champagne Supernova” as “Champaign Supernova.” The text above has been updated to correct the error.)

Is Siri biased against Canadians?

On Nov. 12, Céline Dion posted a video of herself attempting to get Siri to play her song “Hymne à L’Amour,” or “Hymn to Love.” She performed that track, originally recorded by iconic French singer Edith Piaf, at the Summer Olympics and recently released a live version of it to streaming services.

Unfortunately, every time Céline asks the Apple assistant to play the song, Siri says she can’t find it and suggests “My Heart Will Go On” instead. After trying and failing a couple of times, a fed up Céline decides to change her voice.

She announces that she’s going to switch from her regular French Canadian accent to a Parisian French accent — yes, the two are markedly different. Using her fake accent, she asks for the song again. This time, it works, which makes Céline crack up.

“Third time’s the charm,” she captioned the video.

U2’s Larry Mullen Jr. has teamed with pop star GAYLE, best known for the tune “abcdefu,” on a new song, “Between the Lines,” which they co-wrote for the new movie Left Behind, Billboard reports.

The film tells the story of the New York City mothers who fought to open the city’s first public school for dyslexic children; it’s personal to both artists, as GAYLE and Mullen’s son both have dyslexia.

“I was really anxious that when I agreed to do [the song] that somebody who actually had dyslexia was involved and they would do the lyrics,” Mullen tells Billboard. “It was just completely fortuitous and luck that myself and GAYLE kind of fell into each other.”

Mullen, who is one of the film’s producers, said creating the song with his two co-writers and GAYLE was “a collide of cultures, two different eras coming together. And the collision is kind of a beautiful one despite the musical differences.”

Mullen only recently returned to music, having been sidelined by neck surgery that caused him to sit out U2’s residency at Sphere Las Vegas.

“It was great to be able to do this track because I could play on it, whereas six months ago, I couldn’t,” he said.

Left Behind will premiere Jan. 17 in New York City.

Pentagon leaker Jack Teixeira sentenced to 15 years on federal charges

Pentagon leaker Jack Teixeira sentenced to 15 years on federal charges
Charles O’Rear

(BOSTON, Mass.) — Jack Teixeira, the Massachusetts Air National Guardsman who prosecutors said “perpetrated one of the most significant and consequential violations of the Espionage Act in American history,” was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

The prison sentence will be followed by three years of supervised release.

Judge Indira Talwani issued the sentence on Tuesday in Boston federal court.

Teixeira pleaded guilty in March to six counts of willfully retaining and transmitting national defense information.

Prosecutors had asked the judge to impose the maximum prison sentence of 200 months — more than 16 years — in prison.

“The harm the defendant caused to the national security from his disclosures of national defense information is extraordinary,” prosecutors said in a memorandum filed ahead of the sentencing hearing. “By posting intelligence products on the social media platform Discord to feed his own ego and impress his anonymous friends, Teixeira caused exceptionally grave damage to the national security of the United States. The scope of his betrayal is breathtaking.”

The defense sought the minimum sentence, citing Teixeira’s autism and ADHD. They also argued he did not intend to harm the country, only to educate his online friends about world events.

“Jack is still essentially a child — at the very least, a ‘youthful offender’ — who has his whole life in front of him,” defense attorneys Michael Bachrach and Brandan Kelley stated in a memorandum presented to the judge ahead of sentencing. “At 22 years old, a sentence of 132 months’ imprisonment would provide more than enough time for him to grow and mature; informed by his behavior as well as from his punishment.”

“With the support of his family and mental health treatment providers, Jack should have little trouble living a productive life inside prison and upon his eventual release,” the memorandum continued.

Teixeira is also currently negotiating a disposition to his parallel, but related, military prosecution, the memo said.

According to the signed plea agreement filed with the court, Teixeira agreed to plead guilty to all six counts charging him with willful retention and transmission of national defense information. In exchange, prosecutors agreed not to charge him with additional counts under the Espionage Act.

Teixeira “accessed and printed hundreds of classified documents” and posted images of them on Discord prior to his arrest in April 2023, a prosecutor said during the plea hearing.

As part of his plea agreement, Teixeira must sit for a debrief with the Defense Department and the Justice Department and give back any sensitive materials that might remain in his possession.

Federal prosecutors have made clear Teixeira had no business peering at classified information because his low-level job did not require it.

“The defendant’s job was to troubleshoot computer workstations,” Assistant United States Attorney Jason Casey said during a March hearing.

Still, Casey said, Teixeira accessed “hundreds” of classified documents inside the secure facility where he worked and “purposefully removed classified documents and information despite admonishments from his superiors to stop.”

Teixeira has admitted in court to knowing the documents were marked classified.

Without mentioning specifics, federal prosecutors said Teixeira exposed information about the compromise by a foreign adversary of certain accounts belonging to a U.S. company and information about equipment the U.S. was sending to Ukraine, how it would be transferred and how it would be used upon receipt. Prosecutors said he also posted material about troop movements in Ukraine, a plot by a foreign adversary to attack U.S. forces abroad, and Western deliveries of supplies to the Ukrainian battlefield.

Teixeira enlisted in the Air National Guard in 2019, according to his service record, and had top secret security clearance beginning in 2021, according to the Department of Justice.

The Justice Department said he began posting classified documents online in January 2022.

Teixeira will also face a military court-martial on charges alleging he violated the Uniform Code of Military Justice, according to the U.S. Air Force.

The U.S. military reserves the right to separately prosecute a service member who has already been convicted in a federal court.

Lemonade Media

On his Fail Better podcast, David Duchovny buried the hatchet with Gillian Anderson over his relationship with her during their days on The X-Files

The pair, who remain friends, weren’t so during the shooting of the Fox phenomenon, and for that, Duchovny apologized.

“The part of this conversation that is the trickiest part for me is where I guess I would talk about, like, my failure of friendship or my failure of companionship or just co-starring,” Duchovny said.

“There was a long time, working on the show, where we were just not even dealing with one another off camera,” David said, adding for the most part the audience had no idea.

“There was a lot of tension, which didn’t matter, apparently, for the work because we’re both f****** crazy, I guess, that we could just go out there and do what we needed to do.”

Anderson agreed, “It’s crazy that we were able to present on camera the various feelings and emotions and attraction and all that kind of stuff, but then not speak to each other for weeks at a time.”

Duchovny added they “missed a chance” at a friendship earlier on. “We missed a chance … because you’re the only person that knows what I was going through and I’m the only person that knows what you’re going through, and we didn’t make use of that.”

He concludes, “It’s nice for me to be able to say ‘I’m sorry’ or ‘I regret’ or ‘I could have done better.’ Because once that’s out, all that’s left is gratitude and that’s the best place to be.”

Looks like Olivia Rodrigo will be spending most of 2025 overseas.

After announcing that she’d be performing at London’s BST Hyde Park festival on June 27, Liv has now added July 3 and July 6 festival dates in Belgium to her tour schedule, as well as a July 15 date at a festival in Milan, Italy, and a July 18 date at Lollapalooza Paris.

Plus, Olivia will do her first-ever stadium shows in Brazil and Mexico in 2025: She’ll play in Curitiba, Brazil, March 26 and Mexico City, Mexico, on April 2. Opening for her in Brazil and Mexico City will be her friend St. Vincent, with whom Olivia co-wrote “Obsessed.”

Liv’s also added a June 24 headlining show in Dublin, Ireland, ahead of two makeup dates in Manchester, England, on June 30 and July 1.

This is all in addition to Olivia’s previously announced April 6 festival appearance in Monterrey, Mexico, and March Lollapalooza festival appearances in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Brazil.

Let’s hope that in between all these live shows, Olivia will have some time to create some new music, too.

Renée Zellweger returns to rom-com glory in new ‘Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy’ trailer

Renée Zellweger is back for one more hilarious and romantic adventure in the official trailer for Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, directed by Michael Morris.

The clip, which debuted online Tuesday and is set to “These Words” by Natasha Bedingfield, features the Oscar winner reprising the most iconic role of her career, one she played in 2001 and brought back in sequels released in 2004 and 2016.

Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy finds the titular character’s happily ever after cut short after husband Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) is killed on a humanitarian mission in Sudan.

“In life, there are memories that will never leave us,” Zellweger says in one of her iconic voice-overs. “But sometimes, those memories are suddenly … all we’re left with.”

Bridget, now a single mother to her 9-year-old son, Billy, and 4-year-old daughter, Mabel, leans on her friends — and her former lover, Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant) — as she attempts to move on from the tragedy years later and put herself back out there in the modern age of dating.

“Bridget, you’re a widow with two wonderful children. My advice to you is put your own oxygen mask on first,” Bridget’s gynecologist Dr. Rawlings (Emma Thompson) says.

Daniel even teases, “You’re effectively a nun. A very, very naughty nun.”

It wouldn’t be a rom-com without multiple love interests, and this movie is no different. Bridget finds herself pursued by a hunky younger man, Roxster (White Lotus actor Leo Woodall), and having a series of awkward run-ins with her son’s science teacher, Mr. Wallaker (12 Years a Slave actor Chiwetel Ejiofor), all while balancing career, family, romance and loss.

Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy will be released in theaters internationally and stream on Peacock in the United States on Feb. 13.
