We now have our first look at The Legend of Zelda movie.
The first photos from Nintendo and Sony’s live-action film adaptation of The Legend of Zelda video game franchise were released Monday on the Nintendo Today! app.
Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto, who serves as a producer on the project, then shared the new photos to his social media. These new images come as filming for the project has started, with Bo Bragason and BenjaminEvan Ainsworth taking on the roles of Princess Zelda and the swordsman Link, respectively.
“We have begun full-scale filming of the live-action ‘Legend of Zelda’ movie in the beautiful natural surroundings with Bo Bragason as Zelda and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link,” Miyamoto wrote. “Filming is progressing smoothly, so we hope you will continue to support us.”
The photos show Link and Zelda standing in the middle of a green field. Both actors are dressed in their character’s signature costumes, with Zelda carrying her signature bow and arrow.
Miyamoto revealed the casting of Link and Zelda on his social media back in July.
Wes Ball, who helmed The Maze Runner and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, directs the upcoming film. It is scheduled to arrive in theaters on May 7, 2027.

Glen Powell may have gotten more than he bargained for when he referenced Fall Out Boy on Saturday Night Live.
The Top Gun: Maverick actor hosted SNL on Nov. 15, and during his monologue he told the audience about his movie star aspirations growing up.
“When I was a teen, I directed some of my own films, they were a little experimental, emotionally nuanced,” Powell said. “I was watching a lot of French New Wave at the time, I think you’ll see the influence.”
Powell then played a video of himself lip-synching along to Fall Out Boy’s classic “Sugar, We’re Goin Down.”
“That was actually my audition for Top Gun,” Powell quipped.
Powell’s reference made its way to the Fall Out Boy members, who responded in an Instagram post reading, “Want to direct the next fob music video @glenpowell?”
In addition to the excitement over the possible collaboration, fans in the comments are hoping that “the next fob music video” means there’s a next Fall Out Boy album in the works. The band’s most recent record is 2023’s So Much (for) Stardust.
Fall Out Boy has spent 2025 celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 2005 breakout album, From Under the Cork Tree. A deluxe reissue was released in October.

Described as “the most intimate” of Smith’s memoirs, the book follows the musician through her childhood in Philadelphia and South Jersey, her teenage years “when the first glimmers of art and romance take hold,” her marriage to Fred “Sonic” Smith and their family life, and more.

KISS returned to the stage for the first time since their final End of the Road World Tour concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden in December 2023. They performed Friday to Sunday at their KISS Kruise: Landlocked convention in Las Vegas.
The performances were the band’s first since the death of founding member Ace Frehley, who they paid tribute to at their first unmasked performance Friday, fan-shot footage posted to YouTube shows.
“Obviously, before we get going, and we’re going to have an awesome time … we just wanted to take a moment to think about somebody who was at the foundation of this band, and we’re talking about Ace,” Paul Stanley said. “We certainly had differences, but that’s what family is about.”
He then asked fans to take a moment of silence to honor Ace and “think about him looking down on us,” which was followed by chants of “Ace, Ace” from the crowd.
The KISS Kruise featured a reunion of the final KISS lineup: Paul, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer.
They played the tracks “Hard Luck Woman” and “Hide Your Heart” at their Friday acoustic performance for the first time since 2019, according to setlist.fm. The set also featured their classic ballad “Beth” and a cover of The Beatles’ “I’ll Be Back.”
The band broke out more KISS classics at their Saturday electric show, including “Detroit Rock City” and “Black Diamond,” as well as “Lick It Up” and “Rock and Roll All Nite” featuring former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick.
In a video from World Without Exploitation, Jeffrey Epstein survivors are seen holding photos of their younger selves, as some of them recite their ages when they met him. (World Without Exploitation)
(NEW YORK) — The anti-trafficking group World Without Exploitation released a video PSA featuring a group of Epstein survivors advocating for the release of all Epstein files.
In the video released Sunday, the women are seen holding photos of their younger selves, as some of them recite their ages when they first met sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Some of the eleven women featured in the video cry or grow emotional as they speak.
“It’s time to bring the secrets out of the shadows. It’s time to shine a light into the darkness,” the women say.
The video concludes with on-screen text that reads, “Five administrations and we’re still in the dark.” Following the message is a plea to call Congress and demand the release of the Epstein files.
The House is set to vote this week on a bill to compel the release of the full Justice Department files related to Jeffrey Epstein. Over the weekend, President Donald Trump marked a sudden shift in his stance on the topic — calling for Republicans to vote in favor of the files’ release.
Trump had previously called the release of the emails a Democratic “hoax” and added “some stupid” and “foolish” Republicans had fallen for it.
None of the documents previously made public contain allegations of wrongdoing by Trump.
Groups of Epstein survivors have called on Congress to make the files public in the past.
In September, a group of Epstein survivors shared their stories on Capitol Hill and called on lawmakers to support the release of the files. One of the women, Anouska De Georgiou, said the survivors want their voices to be heard.
“The days of sweeping this under the rug are over. We the survivors say ‘no more,'” she said.
A group of Epstein survivors plan to be in D.C. for a press conference on Capitol Hill on Tuesday morning with Republican Rep. Thomas Massie, Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna and Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who sparred with Trump over the handling of the Epstein investigation.
