Queen Latifah was introduced to the world through music, but it’s been years since she released a project. With her upcoming Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction, she says she new music may finally be on the way.

“I’m going to drop some music,” she told People. “You know, I got all this music at home, and I forget y’all haven’t heard it. I need to let somebody else hear it other than my friends.”

Queen’s last project was 2009’s Persona, but she says she feels “so close to” music.

“I do enough things that allow me to get out there and sing or rap or do shows so that people can remember,” she said. “Lest they forget how I got into this game. Let me show you right quick.”

“I keep it in my back pocket at all times,” she told People. “But yeah, I guess it has been a minute, so probably will drop some new music this year.”

“It’s time,” she added. “Get ready for the many genres that it will come out in.”

Queen will be inducted into the Rock & Roll of Hame on Nov. 14 alongside fellow honorees like the late Luther Vandross, MC Lyte, Celia Cruz and Sade.

“It’s really almost odd to be inducted with people who are such influences and such heroes in my mind, but such a huge, huge honor to be in anything that’s a class with them,” she told People.

The RRHOF ceremony will be available to watch in December on ABC and Disney+.

Disney is the parent company of ABC and ABC News.

Ella Langley’s lock on the Billboard charts continues, as the hitmaker occupies the top three spots on the Hot Country Songs chart. Not only that, she’s done it for an entire month.

For the fourth week, “Choosin’ Texas” is at #1, followed by its follow-up radio single, “Be Her,” at #2 and Ella’s duet with Morgan Wallen, “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” at #3.

The only time that’s ever been done before is in 2024, when Beyoncé reigned in the top three spots for a single week with tracks from Cowboy Carter

Meanwhile, Drake takes over the top spot on the all-genre Hot 100 with “Janice STFU,” interrupting Ella’s 10-week nonconsecutive run, at least for now.

Koe Wetzel took the “High Road” to land the most-played song at country radio in 2025.

Now he’s following up the double Platinum, five-week #1 with Jessie Murph with a new radio single from his upcoming sixth studio album.

‘Hurts Like You’ was one of the first songs that we wrote for the record,” Koe says. “It’s kind of about a toxic relationship; whenever you get into those situations, you know it’s not good for you, but there’s just something about it that keeps bringing you back. It’s hard to get away from. I feel like a lot of people go through that, so I hope people can relate to the way that we felt about it.”

“Hurts Like You” is the lead release from The Night Champion, which drops June 12.

In between wowing audiences with his otherworldly guitar skills, Jimi Hendrix was just a regular person who ordered food and paid his phone bill.

That’s what a new exhibit dedicated to the “Purple Haze” icon opening in London will show.

According to The Guardian, the exhibit includes various documents from Hendrix’s time living in London during the 1960s. Pieces include receipts from meals ordered from the restaurant Mr Love, which was located on the ground floor of the building, and dry cleaning tickets.

“They tell a really important story of this one little moment of domesticity in Hendrix’s life,” exhibition curator Claire Davies tells The Guardian. “He had a very difficult childhood and then, during his four-year career when he was based in London, he was staying with other people or in hotels. So when he was here at 23 Brook Street, it was the only place he called home and the only place with his name on the rent invoices.”

The exhibit will be open at London’s Handel Hendrix House on June 19.

“Every stage of my life has shaped this music,” she continues, “and now I finally get to bring all of these songs to stages around the country and share them with the fans who’ve been with me through it all. I hope people leave these shows feeling seen, healed, and maybe even a little more hopeful.”

Shane Profitt, Ashley Kutcher and Hannah Harper will join her on the run, with tickets going on sale Friday.

Lauren currently has a top-30 hit with Chase Matthew and “All My Exes.”
