Olivia Rodrigo’s costars in her video for “stupid song” are a troupe of New York ballet dancers, including New York City Ballet principal dancer Tiler Peck. Tiler also choreographed the spot and told Billboard what that experience was like.

Olivia walks through the streets of New York City in the video, before being joined by the ballet dancers who dance around her and frolic with her in the park. They shot it in Manhattan from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. in one day, because the dancers had to get to rehearsals by 11:30 a.m.

“When we were sitting between takes and talking, she wanted to know everything,” Tiler said of Olivia. “She was like, ‘Oh my God, you guys have a show tonight?!’ And she ended up sending us all a bouquet of flowers to the theater before our night show. It was so nice. And I could just tell she was fascinated by the whole ballet world.”

Tiler said she’s the one who insisted that the dancers wear pointe shoes. However, she was forced to have all the white tutus she brought to the set dyed pink because Olivia was “adamant” about the color.

But Tiler says she and the dancers are up for recreating the performance with Olivia anytime. As she told Billboard, “All of us girls had such a fun time with her, if she did ever want that to happen, we would so love to do that.”

Meanwhile, “stupid song” is currently soundtracking the trailer for the new film Heartstopper Forever.

Shrek, Fiona and Donkey are returning to the land of Far Far Away for another adventure.

The trailer for DreamWorks Animation’s Shrek 5 has been released, nearly a year ahead of its release to theaters on June 30, 2027.

“Shrek and Donkey, two stalwart friends off on another whirlwind big city adventure,” Donkey, voiced by Eddie Murphy, says in the clip.

Shrek (Mike Myers) reluctantly teams up with his old pal, as well as his wife Fiona (Cameron Diaz) and their two sons Fergus and Farkle, voiced by Marcello Hernández and Skyler Gisondo. It’s unclear where the adventure is taking them, but at some point they all end up in jail.

The trailer ends with Donkey badly singing the 1977 song “Baby Come Back” to the annoyance of his ogre cellmates.

Zendaya voices Shrek and Fiona’s teenage daughter Felicia, but the character does not appear in the trailer.

The first Shrek film was released in 2001. It was the first-ever winner of the best animated feature Academy Award. Its three sequels were subsequently released in 2004, 2007 and 2010.

The 2027 Grammy Awards will include five new categories, including best Asian pop music performance. That category will recognize artistic excellence in Asian pop music performances originating from or widely recognized within Asian markets, including K-pop, J-pop and C-pop recordings that feature meaningful use of one or more Asian languages.

The four additional categories announced Tuesday by the Recording Academy are best Latin song, best traditional pop vocal performance, best R&B collaboration or duo/group performance and best traditional folk album.

The Academy also announced several changes to its voting and eligibility rules ahead of the 69th Grammy Awards. For example, labels can now enter artists for consideration in the best new artist category up to four times. Previously, if they’d been entered for consideration three times but didn’t make the cut, they were no longer eligible.

The rule change means that Ella Langley has another shot at best new artist. As per Billboard, she’s been entered for consideration in the category the past three years, but has failed to make the ballot. Now, in what has so far been the biggest year of her career, she can compete again.

The 69th Grammy Awards will air live on ABC, Disney+ and Hulu on Feb. 7, 2027.

“2027 is going to be an amazing year for the Grammy Awards, and one that reflects the extraordinary growth we’re seeing across music,” Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. said in a statement. “The changes advanced by our Academy members speak to the breadth of today’s music industry and the many genres, crafts and creators shaping it.”

Disney is the parent company of ABC News, ABC and Hulu.

Tesla’s upcoming covers album, Homage, features one original song, and now fans are getting to hear it.

The “Signs” rockers have just released the track “Never Alone,” which bassist Brian Wheat says he “wrote in the 11th hour of recording the album Homage.”

Wheat explains that the song “started out as a simple guitar riff,” which he came up with while waiting to film an episode of Rachael Ray’s TV show.

He says he “started strumming these chords to kill some time,” noting, “When I listened back to it, it sounded like a Tesla song.”

Lead singer Jeff Keith agreed, and then they came up with the title “Never Alone” and started working on it. “I think it turned out pretty good,” Wheat adds.

Homage, dropping July 17, has the band covering songs by such artists as Queen, Bob Seger, Supertramp, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Creedence Clearwater Revival, James Brown and Elvis Presley.

The album is available for preorder now.

Tesla is set to join Mötley Crüe on their The Return of the Carnival of Sins Tour, which begins July 17 in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. A complete list of dates can be found at Teslatheband.com.

A new documentary centered on WHAM!’s 1985 tour of China is coming to theaters worldwide.

WHAM! 10 Days In China follows the duo — George Michael and Andrew Ridgelely — as they become the first Western pop group to perform in China, with concerts in Beijing and Guangzhou. It features restored, newly digitized and never-before-seen archival footage, along with interviews from those who were there.

The film is described in a press release as “the untold story of WHAM! at a singular moment in history, East meets West, pop meets politics, and two young stars coming of age on the world stage.” The release says it “offers a fresh perspective on China at a moment of transformation, told through the band’s journey and the voices of fans experiencing pop culture in a new way.”

“This film finally reveals the unknown legacy of WHAM!’s groundbreaking venture, and lays bare, in all their human contradictions, the individual perspectives behind what was a bold and risky, high stakes gamble,” adds Ridgeley.

WHAM! 10 Days In China will be screened in theaters on July 28, with tickets going on sale June 24.
