James Van Der Beek is taking it back to the fictional town of West Canaan, Texas, for a good reason.
The 48-year-old actor, who starred as Jonathan “Mox” Moxon in Varsity Blues, is fundraising for cancer treatment and selling limited-edition reproductions of his favorite jersey from the 1999 football movie.
“By popular demand! My favorite jersey. Maybe it was all fun plays we got run in the football sequences for the away games… but I always loved putting on the varsity whites,” Van Der Beek captioned an Instagram Reel announcing the sale.
“Last year when I released the Blues jersey, I was blown away by the love and support I received from all of you. It has meant more than I can ever express. I hope you enjoy this one as much as the original,” he added.
Van Der Beek’s unsigned Varsity Blues white jersey, featuring “Moxon” and the number 4 in blue text, is priced at $40, while an autographed version is priced at $80.
Van Der Beek has been auctioning off some of his memorabilia to fundraise for cancer treatment. He previously offered up several items from Dawson’s Creek, the hit teen drama that he starred in from 1998 to 2003.
Items up for auction include Dawson’s flannel shirt and Dawson’s necklace for Joey Potter, his character’s love interest, who was played by actress Katie Holmes. Propstore will auction off the items on Dec. 6 as part of its Winter Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction, with 100% of proceeds going to Van Der Beek.
Van Der Beek is currently undergoing treatment for Stage 3 colorectal cancer, a diagnosis he received in 2023 and then revealed publicly in 2024.
Colorectal cancer is a type of cancer characterized by malignant cells and polyps that grow out of control in the colon or rectum, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

(WASHINGTON) — The FBI is attempting to schedule interviews with the six Democratic members of Congress who made a video saying troops should not obey any illegal orders, according to multiple sources familiar with the situation.
The FBI would conduct these interviews on behalf of the Justice Department, and it is unclear when the interviews would be held amid the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, the sources said.
Democratic Sen. Elissa Slotkin, one of the six Democratic lawmakers in the video, said the “FBI’s Counterterrorism Division appeared to open an inquiry” into her.
“The President directing the FBI to target us is exactly why we made this video in the first place. He believes in weaponizing the federal government against his perceived enemies and does not believe laws apply to him or his Cabinet. He uses legal harassment as an intimidation tactic to scare people out of speaking up,” Slotkin said in a post on X on Tuesday.
“This isn’t just about a video. This is not the America I know, and I’m not going to let this next step from the FBI stop me from speaking up for my country and our Constitution,” Slotkin added.
The offices of the House Democrats in the video also released a statement to ABC News confirming the FBI’s attempt to schedule interviews, saying the president is “using the FBI as a tool to intimidate and harass members of Congress.
“No amount of intimidation or harassment will ever stop us from doing our jobs and honoring our Constitution. We swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. That oath lasts a lifetime, and we intend to keep it. We will not be bullied. We will never give up the ship,” the House Democrats said in a statement.
In an interview that aired on X on Monday, FBI Director Kash Patel said career analysts and agents will make any determination on the Democratic lawmakers who urged members of the military to disobey illegal orders, when asked what his reaction to it was.
“Is there a lawful predicate to open up an inquiry and investigation or is there not? And that decision will be made by the career agents and analysts here at the FBI,” Patel said in the interview.
When asked if the FBI was involved, Patel said, “based on the fact that it’s an ongoing matter, there’s not much I can say.”
The U.S. Capitol Police referred questions to the FBI, who declined to comment.
The development was first reported by Fox News.
President Donald Trump has previously accused these members of Congress of “seditious behavior.”
“I’m not threatening death, but I think they’re in serious trouble. In the old days, it was death. … That was seditious behavior, that was a big deal. You know, nothing’s a big deal, today’s a different world,” Trump said last week.
The news of the FBI attempting to schedule these interviews comes after the Pentagon announced it would launch a “thorough review” into Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly, who is one of the six members of Congress in the video.
“The military already has clear procedures for handling unlawful orders. It does not need political actors injecting doubt into an already clear chain of command,” Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said on Tuesday.
On Monday, Hegseth called the six Democrats in the video the “Seditious Six” but explained why the probe is focused solely on Kelly.
“Five of the six individuals in that video do not fall under [Defense Department] jurisdiction (one is CIA and four are former military but not ‘retired’, so they are no longer subject to UCMJ). However, Mark Kelly (retired Navy Commander) is still subject to UCMJ — and he knows that,” Hegseth posted on X.
In response to the FBI scheduling interviews with those in the video, Kelly’s office said the Arizona senator “won’t be silenced.”
“Senator Kelly won’t be silenced by President Trump and Secretary Hegseth’s attempt to intimidate him and keep him from doing his job as a U.S. Senator,” according to a statement from Kelly’s office.
50 Cent‘s documentary about Sean “Diddy” Combs now has an official release date. Sean Combs: The Reckoning will make its way to Netflix on Dec. 2. The doc was directed by Alexandria Stapleton, with 50 serving as an executive producer.
Sean Combs: The Reckoning will examine the life and career of Diddy, including his rise within the music industry, his influential impact on the careers of artists like The Notorious B.I.G., and the underworld that eventually resulted in lawsuits and his felony conviction. It will be broken down into four episodes featuring “exclusive interviews with those formerly in Combs’ orbit” and other “explosive, never-before-seen materials.”
“This isn’t just about the story of Sean Combs or the story of Cassie, or the story of any of the victims, or the allegations against him, or the trial,” Stapleton says in a statement. “Ultimately, this story is a mirror [reflecting us] as the public, and what we are saying when we put our celebrities on such a high pedestal.”
Her hope for the documentary is that it serves as “a wake-up call for how we idolize people, and to understand that everybody is a human being.”
Diddy is currently serving a 50-month sentence for two prostitution-related convictions at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey.

Kenny Loggins’ “Footloose,” the title track to the 1984 Kevin Bacon film, has surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, making it Loggins’ first entry in Spotify’s Billions Club.
“Five decades ago, I began a musical journey that has been incredibly rewarding,” said Loggins. “I’m thrilled to see my songs continue to find new life with new fans after all these years.”
He adds, “One billion streams for ‘Footloose’ is almost unimaginable. I’m grateful that my work still resonates with so many people.”
Released Jan. 11, 1984, “Footloose” was Loggins’ first #1 hit, spending three weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100. It is one of two songs he had on the Footloose soundtrack, the other being “I’m Free (Heaven Helps the Man),” which peaked at #22.
Loggins has a lot to look forward to in 2026. On Feb. 7 he’ll be inducted into the People’s Music Hall of Fame by the Sound Support Foundation during the annual ceremony in Salt Lake City, Utah, and on Feb. 14 he’ll be honored at the Power of Love Gala 2026 in Las Vegas. Plus, a new documentary about Loggins, Conviction of the Heart, is expected to premiere in the spring.
Loggins is also nominated for the Songwriters Hall of Fame this year. Voting is set to run through Dec. 4, and the inductees will be celebrated at a gala event in New York City next year.

Two very lucky birds won the White House lottery this year — a presidential pardon and a lifetime free from the Thanksgiving dinner table.
Waddle and Gobble, who had their names chosen by the public online, were pardoned by President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump Tuesday in the annual tradition that spares two Thanksgiving turkeys from becoming the centerpiece of a holiday meal.
“See how happy he is,” Trump remarked of Gobble at the ceremony. Waddle was not present at the formal pardoning ceremony.
“Waddle, by the way is missing in action, but that’s OK, we can pretend Waddle is here,” Trump said.
The two birds stayed at the luxurious Willard InterContinental hotel in D.C. ahead of their Rose Garden ceremony, according to the hotel.
The two turkeys are provided to the White House by the National Turkey Federation, who will take Gobble and Waddle back to North Carolina, where they will live under the care of the Prestage Department of Poultry Science at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, per the school.
Trump also took the opportunity to tout his administration’s accomplishments, including the passage of his “one, big beautiful bill,” working to increase safety in cities across the country, and mitigating international conflicts.
“The turkeys known as Peach and Blossom last year have been located, and they were on their way to be processed, in other words to be killed, but I stopped that journey and I am officially pardoning them,” Trump said.
Trump also harangued Rep. Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Chuck Schumer at the ceremony, joking he wanted to name the birds after the two politicians.
“When I first saw their pictures, I thought we should send them, well I shouldn’t say this — I was going to call them Chuck and Nancy, but then I realized I wouldn’t be pardoning them, I would never pardon those two people,” he added.
While American presidents as far back as Abraham Lincoln have pardoned turkeys, the modern tradition did not begin until 1989 during George H.W. Bush’s administration, even though Presidents John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan had both pardoned turkeys during their stays in the White House, according to the White House Historical Association.
“But let me assure you, and this fine tom turkey, that he will not end up on anyone’s dinner table, not this guy — he’s presented a presidential pardon as of right now –and allow him to live out his days on a children’s farm not far from here,” Bush said in 1989, officially launching the yearly custom, according to the WHHA.

Summer Walker has walked her way down the aisle and into the Billboard 200. Her album Finally Over It, which had a wedding-themed rollout, has debuted at #2 on the music chart. It earned 77,000 equivalent album units, 69,000 SEA units and 8,000 sales in the United States in the week ending Nov. 20, according to Luminate.

Tracy Lawrence‘s annual Mission: Possible Turkey Fry, which provides turkeys to the needy in Middle Tennessee, was dealt a severe blow on Tuesday, leading to a citywide call for birds.
The event announced on Instagram, “We had a truck break down on the way to the Mission Possible Turkey Fry this morning, and we are now short 650 turkeys! If you are in the area and able, please drop off a thawed or frozen turkey, or whole chicken. … There will be volunteers with blue bins there to greet you.”
The event is taking place behind the Nashville Expo Center at 401 Wingrove St. in Nashville. Some people are sending donations via Instacart.
Hopefully enough turkeys will be donated that people will be in a good mood for the annual concert that follows the event. Taking place at Luke Combs‘ Category 10 bar in Nashville Tuesday night, the show will feature Tracy, Gretchen Wilson, Eric Paslay, Chris Cagle and more.

Eva Green is joining the cast of Wednesday for season 3.
The French actress will be playing the role of Aunt Ophelia, the long-lost sister of Addams Family matriarch Morticia Addams, played by Catherine Zeta-Jones, and the aunt of Jenna Ortega‘s Wednesday.
“I’m thrilled to join the woefully twisted world of Wednesday as Aunt Ophelia,” Green tells Tudum. “This show is such a deliciously dark and witty world, I can’t wait to bring my own touch of cuckoo-ness to the Addams family.”
Ophelia had been mentioned throughout season 2 of Wednesday, with Morticia saying her sister went missing after losing control of her powers. Viewers then got a glimpse of Ophelia from behind in the season 2 finale.
“Eva Green has always brought an exhilarating, singular presence to the screen — elegant, haunting, and beautifully unpredictable,”showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar tell Tudum. “Those qualities make her the perfect choice for Aunt Ophelia. We’re excited to see how she transforms the role and expands Wednesday’s world.”
