Alice Cooper has announced a U.K. book tour in support of his upcoming memoir, Devil on My Shoulder.
The tour kicks off Oct. 11 in Cardiff, and hits Cambridge, London, Brighton, Manchester and more, before wrapping Oct. 20 in Wolverhampton, with each date moderated by a special guest.
Moderators include musician Arthur Brown, aka The God of Hellfire, Absolute Radio presenter Claire Sturgess and music journalist Billy Sloan.
Devil on My Shoulder, set for release Oct. 6, follows the life and career of the “No More Mr. Nice Guy” rocker, who was born Vincent Damon Furnier before creating his Alice Cooper stage persona and eventually adopting it as his legal name.
Cooper has several European festival dates booked in June and July, and will then hit the road on a U.K. tour with The Hollywood Vampires starting Aug. 12 in London. A complete list of date can be found at AliceCooper.com.

John Mellencamp has begun rehearsals for his Dancing Words Tour — The Greatest Hits, and he’s giving fans insight into the process.
Mellencamp shared videos on Instagram that were shot on the first day of rehearsals at Belmont Mall Studio in Indiana. The first post takes fans through the garage in which they’ve been rehearsing “since the 1980s,” according to the voiceover.
In a second video, Mellencamp lets fans know that during the tour, “we’ll be playing 27 songs and every one of them was a hit that you’ll be able to sing along with.”
“This will be the last time I play some of these songs, and the first time I’ve played some of ’em in decades,” he adds, noting, “Hope to see you all out there.”
Since announcing the tour, Mellencamp has been posting videos of him getting in shape for the trek, which usually find him exercising while smoking — something he says isn’t about to change.
At the end of the video, he tells his followers, “And oh, by the way I’m still working out and I’m still smoking,” before lighting up a cigarette.
When Mellencamp initially announced the tour, he said his sets will include hits like “Jack & Diane,” “Hurts So Good,” “Small Town” and “Pink Houses,” along with songs like “R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A. (A Salute To 60’s Rock),” “I Need a Lover,” “Wild Night” and “Ain’t Even Done With the Night,” which he hasn’t played in years.
The Dancing Words Tour — The Greatest Hits begins July 10 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and wraps Aug. 12 in Mountain View, California. A complete list of dates can be found at Mellencamp.com.

Kristin Davis and Tig Notaro are joining the Emily Henry rom-com universe.
The actors have joined the cast of the film adaptation of the bestselling novel Beach Read, Deadline reports. They join Bridgerton actress Phoebe Dynevor and The White Lotus‘ Patrick Schwarzenegger, who are set to star in the film, as well as Andie MacDowell and Kevin Bacon. Production will begin on the picture in June.
ABC Audio has reached out to 20th Century Studios for confirmation.
Beach Read follows the character January Andrews, a romance novelist who struggles with writer’s block due to her grief after the death of her father and her discovery of the secrets he kept.
January spends the summer at her father’s Michigan beach house as she prepares to sell it. While there, she reconnects with Gus Everett, a fellow author and her formal college rival. The pair spark an unexpected romance after they agree to partake in a writing challenge to get them out of their respective writing ruts.
Yulin Kuang, who co-wrote the Netflix film adaptation of Henry’s novel People We Meet on Vacation, will direct Beach Read for 20th Century Studios from her own script.
This is the latest adaptation of one of Henry’s works, following the release of People We Meet on Vacation in January. Three of her other novels — Book Lovers, Funny Story and Happy Place — are also currently being adapted for the screen.
Disney is the parent company of ABC News and 20th Century Studios.

Sabrina Carpenter is fearing for her safety after she says an alleged stalker tried to enter her home in May.
The “Espresso” artist, 27, filed a civil harassment restraining order on May 29 against William Applegate, 31, who she alleges went to her Los Angeles home on May 23 “unannounced and uninvited.”
In her declaration, she says that Applegate trespassed onto her neighbor’s property to “breach the security fencing protecting” her home and then “forced his way closer to my residence and advanced directly to my front door.”
Carpenter then alleges that Applegate “physically grabbed the lever of my front door and forcefully pushed it down, actively trying to force his way inside my home without any invitation, permission, or consent whatsoever.”
The petition goes on to say that after Applegate allegedly knocked on Carpenter’s door and rang the doorbell, a member of the singer’s security team “intervened and physically removed Applegate.” However, Carpenter says that Applegate still “refused to comply.” Applegate allegedly remained on the premises of the property until LAPD officers arrived on scene.
Detective Peter Doomanis of the Los Angeles Police Department wrote in a separate declaration that Applegate was placed under arrest after the incident and “taken into custody for criminal trespass in violation of California Penal Code § 602(m),” which makes it a misdemeanor to “enter and occupy real property or structures without the consent of the owner, their agent, or the person in lawful possession.”
Doomanis alleged that Carpenter was “in genuine fear for her personal safety” at the time of the incident and “continues to fear for her safety to this day.”
After Applegate’s arrest on May 23, he was released and returned to Carpenter’s home on May 24 and May 25 according to the singer’s private security guards in court docs.
Carpenter’s restraining order also protects her sister, Sarah Carpenter, 29, and her significant other, George Smith, 26, who live with the singer at her home.
“The totality of Applegate’s conduct has caused me significant and ongoing fear for my personal safety and the safety of all individuals residing in my home,” Carpenter said in her declaration, adding that Applegate’s alleged attempts to enter her home without consent are “among the most disturbing violations of personal safety and privacy I have ever experienced.”
Carpenter continued, “His delusional insistence that he knows me and was expected by me is indicative of a dangerous, delusional, and irrational fixation on me. His pattern of stalking, trespassing, and surveillance has caused me severe and ongoing emotional distress, and I am in fear of what he may do if he is not restrained by this Court.”
The District Attorney’s office says that no criminal charges have been filed against Applegate.
ABC News has reached out to representatives for Carpenter for comment and to Applegate.

Sara Bareilles will release her first new music that isn’t tied to a film or theater project in nearly seven years on Wednesday. “Home” arrives at 11 a.m. ET. She writes, “I’m so happy to finally share new music,” and then joked, “this new work is deeply personal… unlike all my other stuff.” Thursday will see the premiere of Sara’s new documentary, Good Grief, at New York’s Tribeca Festival.
Olivia Rodrigo’s new song “the cure” has debuted at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100. It’s her eighth top-10 and her second from her upcoming album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love. The first one, “drop dead,” debuted at #1 in May. In addition, “the cure” has debuted at #1 on Billboard‘s Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart. It’s her third #1 on that chart, after “brutal” and “bad idea right?”
Barry Manilow, ‘What A Time.’ (STILETTO Entertainment)
In an exclusive interview with ABC News’ Chris Connelly, Barry Manilow has opened up about how being diagnosed with lung cancer and undergoing a left lung lobectomy havs altered his voice.
“My voice — I don’t know whether it’s coming back,” Manilow said in an interview that aired Monday on Good Morning America. “I did my first sound check about a month ago and I didn’t sound like me at all. I just couldn’t believe that it’s over.”
He added, “That is really upsetting. Because I don’t want it to stop.”
The singer, who’s known for his hits like “Copacabana,” “Mandy” and more throughout a career that has spanned more than 50 years, said he feels like he’s “taken my voice for granted.”
“I don’t take it seriously,” he said. “Now I do, because it doesn’t seem to be there the way it always was.”
Manilow’s cancer diagnosis was announced on Dec. 22, 2025, on his official website. The singer, who said he previously experienced six weeks of bronchitis, had just completed a Las Vegas residency and a five-night series of charity Christmas concerts in Palm Desert, California. He said his doctors ordered an MRI following his illness with bronchitis.
“They checked my lungs, and they found the dot, the spot, that thing that you don’t want to, you don’t want to ever have,” Manilow said. “They said I had lung cancer and we have to get it out.”
“It was just too heavy for me,” he added.
Manilow said the “spot” was diagnosed as Stage 1 cancerous tumor in his left lung, which he underwent successful surgery to remove. His doctors said he didn’t need chemotherapy or radiation, according to Manilow, but he contracted pneumonia, which landed him in the ICU.
Manilow said the experience was “terrifying.”
“There was a couple of moments there that I thought this may be goodbye,” he said. “But these people at this hospital, they were just angels, saints. I could cry so hard every time I think about these nurses and doctors.”
Today, ahead of his 83rd birthday on June 17, Manilow said he’s “doing good,” but that “it took longer than I thought it was going to take to get past this lung cancer.”
Earlier this year, Manilow’s song “Once Before I Go,” which he released in September 2025, reached the top 10 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. The song will appear on his new album, What a Time, which will be released Friday.
“I can’t wait to get back,” he continued. “I’m in great shape, I’m ready to go. I just hope my voice is there. If I sound good, that would be just great!”
“I really don’t want to cry onstage, but I don’t know whether I’ll be able to hold that back this time,” he added.
Paul McCartney’s ‘The Boys of Dungeon Lane’ (MPL/Capitol Records)
Looks like Paul McCartney may have another hit on his hands in the U.K.
The Beatles legend’s latest solo album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, is on track to top the U.K. Official Albums chart this week.
If it does hit #1, it will be McCartney’s eighth solo #1 in the U.K., although the chart includes albums released with Wings among his other solo hits. McCartney’s first non-Beatles #1 came in 1971 with Ram, although technically the album is credited to both Paul and his wife Linda McCartney. His last solo #1 was 2020’s McCartney III.
A new #1 would also move McCartney to #14 on the list of artists with the most #1 albums.
McCartney’s The Boys of Dungeon Lane, produced by Andrew Watt, features songs about McCartney’s childhood in Liverpool, early adventures with future Beatles bandmates George Harrison and John Lennon, and more.

Fresh off her hosting gig at the American Music Awards, Queen Latifah is set to perform at the Tony Awards.
She will take part in a special performance celebrating Chicago‘s 30-year run on Broadway. The musical originally opened on Broadway in 1975 before returning in 1996, where it continues to run today. According to a press release, it is now the longest-running American musical in Broadway history.
Queen Latifah will be joined by Tony Awards host P!nk, as well as Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Adrienne Warren, Alex Newell, Julianne Hough, Whitney Leavitt, Dylan Mulvaney and more.
The Tony Awards will take place Sunday at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
Queen is also set to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in November.

Mark Wystrach, Cameron Duddy and Jess Carson will take over the Friends in Low Places Rooftop from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. CT for the live debut of songs from their upcoming album, Stages.
The show is free and open to the public, and there’s even a meet-and-greet afterward. You just need to be 21 or over to get in.
Stages arrives June 12 and features the previously released “Marlboro Man,” “Shooting Memories with Tequila,” “Glass Half Empty,” “I Wish You Would” and “Drinkin’ Dark Whiskey” with Mackenzie Carpenter.
