Eight months after the fall of the Berlin Wall, Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters hosted a star-studded concert version of the band’s classic album The Wall at the site of its former location.
The concert featured a host of A-list musicians, including Bryan Adams, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Scorpions, Sinead O’Connor and Cyndi Lauper. It did not include Waters’ former Pink Floyd bandmates David Gilmour, Nick Mason or Rick Wright, prompting controversy over whether they were ever asked to join.
A month after the concert, Waters released the live album and video The Wall — Live in Berlin.
Selena Gomez will turn 33 on Tuesday, but ahead of her big day she shared a message to fans on Instagram, along with a carousel of photos that appear to have been taken at an early birthday party. One of the photos shows her posing with her BFF Taylor Swift; another shows her smooching her fiancé, Benny Blanco.

Selena continues, “Thank you for your unwavering love and kindness. Whether you cheered me on from the sidelines, shared in my highs and lows, or simply offered a listening ear, you have made this year unforgettable.”
“As I step into this new year, I’m filled with excitement and hope for what’s to come,” she concludes. “I look forward to sharing more moments with all of you, creating new memories, and continuing this beautiful journey together. MADLY LOVE YOU ALL.”

My Chemical Romance was sent to drain during their concert in San Francisco on Saturday.
The set included a surprise cover of The Smashing Pumpkins‘ “Bullet with Butterfly Wings,” which frontman Gerard Way told the crowd was a “really special” song to him and his brother, bassist Mikey Way.
The cover caught the ear of the Pumpkins themselves, who responded on Instagram by posting a series of memes joking about how Gerard looks like Billy Corgan.
“Yes Billy is equally proud of his sons,” the post’s caption reads.
In between playing Smashing Pumpkins hits, MCR is performing their 2006 album The Black Parade in full on their tour, which continues Saturday in Los Angeles. Along the way, they’ve been sharing mysterious posts and videos building elaborate lore around the tour.
Def Leppard is headed to Las Vegas for a brand new residency starting in 2026.
Def Leppard: Live at Caesars Palace The Las Vegas Residency consists of 12 shows, happening Feb. 3 to 28 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The shows will mark the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers’ third Vegas residency, after headlining sold out residencies in 2019 and 2013.
“Las Vegas has always been such a main attraction for Def Leppard. There’s no place on earth where you can have the likes of Adele, U2 and the Eagles all playing sold out shows on the same night!, Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott shares. “We’re really looking forward to coming back for our third Vegas residency and to do a run at the iconic Colosseum at Caesars Palace is such an honor given the giants that have blessed that stage!”
A Def Leppard fan club presale, as well as a Citi presale, kicks off Tuesday at 10 a.m. PT, with tickets going on sale to the general public starting Friday at 10 a.m. PT.
Def Leppard is currently on a summer tour, which hits Saratoga Springs, New York, on Tuesday. A complete list of dates can be found at DefLeppard.com.
Megan Moroney‘s current hit, “You Had to Be There,” memorializes the summer she spent on tour with superstar Kenny Chesney last year. Fast-forward to 2025 and she’s headlining her own Am I Okay? Tour.
She kicked off the 50-date run in March with two shows at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall.
Still, when it comes to highlights, it’s hard to beat being close to home.
“The Am I Okay? Tour has been incredible,” the Georgia native reflects. “I think each show has something special, but the two nights in Savannah were very memorable. The arena, Enmarket Arena, is 3 miles from where I was born at the hospital, so it was just a really surreal moment. And I had a lot of family and friends there, so I think those were my favorite shows so far.”
Megan still has lots of opportunities for more highlights, with dates at iconic venues like Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre and L.A.’s Greek Theatre coming up in the fall.
With songs like “Ghost” and “Family,” Badflower is no stranger to tackling difficult topics. But their track “Paws” might be an especially tough listen.
“Paws,” the current single off Badflower’s new album, No Place Like Home, is about frontman Josh Katz‘s dog, who passed away shortly after the song was released.
As Katz tells ABC Audio, he didn’t initially set out to write about his dog. He had come up with the lyric “You could never know it was your time to go,” which opens the chorus of “Paws,” as a sort of placeholder before realizing what it truly meant.
“While I was writing the song, my dog was in the room with me as she always was when I was writing,” Katz says. “My dog was very old at the time, and it just hit me in that moment. I looked at her and I was like, ‘Oh, wait, f***. I know what this song is about, I know what this is gonna be.'”
While Katz wrote “Paws” in anticipation of losing his dog, he still wasn’t prepared for how it felt when the moment came.
“There’s certain complexities to how I felt that I almost wish I could write maybe a new song that’s like, ‘OK … now that it’s actually happened and it’s not just thinking about happening, here’s another song that’s truly about what it felt like,'” Katz says.
The emotion of “Paws” has still connected strongly with fans, and Katz has heard many of their stories about their own pets. He’s noticed that listeners have reacted in similar ways to songs from throughout Badflower’s career.
“Comments sections on the YouTube videos are always my favorite ’cause, on some of the older stuff especially, people just share their stories, and that’s such a cool thing,” Katz says.
Billy Joel sits down for a chat with Bill Maher on the latest episode of the comedian’s Club Random podcast, premiering Monday.
The interview took place in Florida, with Maher chatting with the rock star about his career in what’s being described as an “unfiltered conversation.”
“So excited about our first-ever Club Random on the road,” Maher wrote on Instagram, next to a preview of the episode. “[W]ent to Boca to talk to someone I’d literally have gone anywhere in the world for, Florida Man Billy Joel!!”
The appearance coincides with the recent release of part one of the HBO documentary Billy Joel: And So it Goes.
“This documentary made me realize that so many songs of yours that I’ve been listening to for so long and appreciate the lyrics on one level, because they are universal, and then this put color to this black-and-white drawing of your life that I had had,” Maher tells Billy in the clip. “Because so many songs are very literal as to what was going on in your life.”
Joel sits at the piano for the conversation and occasionally plays for Maher, with the clip showing them chatting about songs like “Only the Good Die Young,” “My Life” and “She’s Always a Woman.”
Part one of Billy Joel: And So It Goes premiered Friday on HBO; part two is set to debut on July 25. Both parts will be available on HBO Max.
Maher’s Club Random podcast can be found on YouTube, Apple, Spotify and other podcast providers.

Katy Perry experienced a frightening onstage mishap Friday night during her Lifetimes Tour stop at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
While performing her hit song “Roar,” the pop star was seated atop a large butterfly-shaped prop that was designed to fly above the crowd.
Midway through the song, the mechanism unexpectedly jolted, tilting and dipping in mid-air, causing Perry to slip in her seat and abruptly stop singing.
A video of the incident, which quickly made the rounds on social media, shows the singer visibly startled as fans below gasped in concern.
Though the moment looked scary, Perry managed to stay on the prop and was unharmed.
After the show, she took to Instagram Stories to address the incident in true Perry fashion, by poking fun at herself.
She posted a blurry close-up photo of her stunned face with the caption, “Good Night San Fran,” written over the image.
Good Morning America reached out to Perry’s reps for comment.
