Billy Joel has debuted another archival performance, and this one is a real throwback.
The “Piano Man” shared a video of him performing the track “Long, Long Time” on the PBS station WSIU on Feb. 10, 1972.
The clip is from such an early point in his career that during the intro the host notes that Joel and his backing band have been together “less than a year,” but adds that the “maturity of sound is there.”
“Long, Long Time” is actually a song that didn’t appear on any of Billy’s original studio albums. A performance of it does appear on the 2011 Legacy Edition of his sophomore album Piano Man.
Joel began releasing archival rarities to his YouTube account following the release of his HBO documentary, Billy Joel: And So It Goes, with many of the clips found during the making of the film.
Billy Joel: And So It Goes is now streaming on HBO Max

Latto released her third studio album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea, one year ago, so she’s celebrating with the release of her new video for “Chicken Grease.”
The video captures Latto as she enjoys her life, riding ATVs, getting pedicures and hanging by the pool, among other things. Pictured are her shorts from the Apple Bottom brand, which she teamed with for an exclusive collection honoring the one-year anniversary of Sugar Honey Iced Tea.
The line pulls from the Y2K era and features custom pieces that blend the Southern heat with street chic, representing her style.
“Apple Bottoms was a staple in the culture. Every ‘it girl’ had a pair. Now it’s my turn to bring that feeling back — but louder,” says Latto in a statement. “This collection is for the women who want to be seen, who move with confidence, and who don’t apologize for having curves or opinions.”
Latto has also dropped a limited-edition vinyl commemorating Sugar Honey Iced Tea, now available on her website.

Mick Fleetwood is marking two years since the devastating wildfires that destroyed parts of Maui, Hawaii.
The Fleetwood Mac drummer and founder shared a picture on Instagram of the fire scorched sign from his restaurant, Fleetwood’s on Front Street, which was lost in the fires writing, “Two years ago today, the heart of Lahaina was devastated by fires…..Taking with it not just our beloved Fleetwood’s on Front Street, but so much of what made this town!!”
“We lost friends and neighbors, including two beloved members of Fleetwood’s on Front Street, Joel and Felimon, along with their families,” he adds. “We continue to mourn their lives, and all the lives lost. Their memory will live on.”
“What stands strong still is the spirit of Lahaina! And the resilience of this island,” he continues. “My thoughts and love continue to be with the people of Lahaina, as we honor the past and look forward.”
Fleetwood had been living on the island of Maui for almost 30 years when the 2023 fires destroyed his community and his restaurant. That September he took part in a star-studded #MauiStrong livestream that raised funds for Hawaii Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund as well as the Recording Academy charity MusicCares.
Chappell Roan has yet to top the Billboard Hot 100, but across the pond, she’s now managed to do it twice.
The Grammy-winning star debuts at #1 on the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart with her new single, “The Subway.” It’s her second chart-topper of the year, following “Pink Pony Club,” which hit #1 back in March. Chappell is now the only artist who’s scored two number-one hits this year on that chart.
To date, the highest Chappell has gotten on the Hot 100 is #4, with both “Pink Pony Club” and “Good Luck Babe!” We’ll find out on Monday where “The Subway” is going to land.
Chappell has already said that the long-awaited tune, which she first performed live in 2024, isn’t the first taste of a new album, because that’ll probably be five years in the making. At least she’s doing a series of concerts this fall in select cities for her adoring fans.
“This song has always been one of the most emotional songs in my catalog,” he says. “To revisit it with someone as fearless and gifted as Ashley was both humbling and electric.”
“We didn’t just sing the song — we lived it,” he adds.
The collab is part of Ty’s double album THIRTY, celebrating his three decades in the music business. Back in June, he teamed up with LeAnn Rimes for a new take on “What Mattered Most.”
Look for the first volume of THIRTY to arrive in the fall.

Gunna‘s The Last Wun is out, and it’s believed to be his final project under Young Thug‘s Young Stoner Life label. Devon DeJardin designed the cover art, which features Gunna as a “sculptural and imposing apocalyptic-like figure,” per Rolling Stone. Gunna tells the mag it matches the “whole vibe of the project: pressure, pain, progress, and real reflection,” adding, “It had to reflect this moment in time, where I’m at, what I’ve been through, and where I’m headed.”
Bryson Tiller dropped one half of his double album, Solace & The Vices. Responding to a question on his Instagram Story, he shared he’s most proud of The Vices because he was able to complete it in two weeks without the help of any vices. “It was fun to bring some mixtape energy to streaming platforms,” he added. Solace comes out in eight weeks.

Yungblud dropped the first part of a planned two-part album, Idols, in June. But now he says before part two comes out, he’ll have yet another project to share.
Speaking to U.K publication NME, the singer born Dom Harrison says, “Idols: Part Two is still coming, but there have been some mad opportunities presented to me in the past month, so there is going to be another project in between parts one and two. America has really opened its doors to me, and there’s a lot coming. What we’re about to announce is wild.”
Describing Part Two as “a lot darker and a lot heavier,” he adds, “It’s ready to come out, to be honest! But there has just been an opportunity that’s come through the door that I cannot say no to. So stay tuned for that!”
Yungblud also just opened up a new London multi-purpose space called Beautifully Romanticized Accidentally Traumatized — B.R.A.T. for short. The space, which is on London’s famed music biz hub Denmark Street, is meant to serve as a store, coffeehouse, bar, poolroom, concert venue and educational center. “It’s a flagship to say thank you to the people who listen to my music,” he explains.
Asked if he had to talk to pop star Charli XCX — whose album Brat took over the world last year — about that name, he says, “No. It was so funny because I registered that company four years ago because I just loved the name ‘Beautifully Romanticized Accidentally Traumatized.’ I wrote that down years ago, so it’s a happy coincidence. Great minds think alike.”
