Jonas Brothers have released their seventh studio album, Greetings from Your Hometown. The album features Dean Lewis on the track “Loved You Better,” rock band Switchfoot on the title track and Marshmello on the previously released “Slow Motion.” The JoBros’ JONAS 20: Greetings from Your Hometown tour kicks off Sunday with a hometown show at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium.

In addition to the Jonas Brothers collab, Marshmello is teaming up with Jelly Roll on the “heartfelt” new track, “Holy Water.” Marshmello plays 12-string, baritone guitar and mandolin on the track, as Jelly sings “One tear for the brokenhearted, pour out a little holy water.” The mask-wearing music maker calls the song “one of the most emotional songs I’ve ever released,” revealing, “It’s about losing a loved one. Unfortunately, a lot of us can relate to that. When I showed the initial idea to Jelly Roll and told him the story, he loved it.”

Rob Thomas has dropped a new song, “Picture Perfect,” along with a lyric video. “Surprise!! My new song, ‘Picture Perfect’ is out now!!” he wrote on Instagram. Rob, who’d previously asked fans to submit their #pictureperfectmoments to him, added, “I’ve absolutely loved reading all of [them] – keep em coming!!!” Rob’s new album, All Night Days, will be released Sept. 5.

Sabrina Carpenter releases final alternate cover of new album with extra bonus track

Island Records

Sabrina Carpenter has unveiled what she says will be the final alternate version of the cover of her album Man’s Best Friend — and it comes with a little something extra.

The artwork shows Sabrina dressed up at a dinner party, talking to a variety of men in tuxedos. The vinyl comes with what she describes as “such a special bonus track called ‘Such a Funny Way.’” It’s pressed on burgundy vinyl and is now available for preorder.

Following the outcry over Sabrina’s original cover for Man’s Best Friend — which shows her on her hands and knees, with an unseen man gripping a fistful of her hair — she’s since rolled out several different versions of the cover. One shows her lounging in a flower-filled room; another shows her dancing with a guy in what looks like the middle of a party. There’s also a picture disc that shows her laying on a bed with a guy holding onto her ankle.

Sabrina is also offering the album on CD and cassette. Among the merch she’s selling is a retro CD player that looks like a jewelry box on the outside and like a mini-turntable inside.

Man’s Best Friend arrives Aug. 29

Artist/producer Marshmello has already topped the country chart with “Miles on It” with Kane Brown, but he’s going deeper with his new collab with Jelly Roll.

Marshmello himself plays 12-string, baritone guitar and mandolin on “Holy Water,” as Jelly sings “One tear for the brokenhearted, pour out a little holy water.”

The mask-wearing music maker calls the “heartfelt” track “one of the most emotional songs I’ve ever released,” going on to reveal, “It’s about losing a loved one.”

“Unfortunately, a lot of us can relate to that,” he says. “When I showed the initial idea to Jelly Roll and told him the story, he loved it.”

“He’s an open book,” Marshmello continues, “and it was really great to see how it resonated. It inspired me to go in even more on the production and get creative with the country elements. He definitely brought it home to where it is now.”

Marshmello also recorded the quintuple Platinum “One Thing Right” with Kane in 2019.

Offset opens up about his life after Migos in a new episode of Carmelo Anthony‘s 7PM in Brooklyn podcast.

After over 10 years with the group, he says he left to begin his solo career because his artistic growth was stunted. The success he was able to achieve with Migos, however, would play into the decisions he made with music releases.

“See me going solo and s***– that’s why I wait and I particularly put s*** out because the standard I done set myself so high that I can’t slip,” Offset said. “So that pressure, that s*** be hard but you got to always remember what people godd*** love you for and what they f*** with you for no matter what.”

He noted that he and Quavo have buried the hatchet since going their separate ways in 2022. “We holla at each other every other week,” Offset said. “That’s family at the end of the day. You’re gonna bump heads with your family sometimes, but ain’t nobody playing with me, ain’t nobody playing with him … nobody.”

Migos consisted of three members: Offset, Quavo and the late Takeoff, who shot and killed outside a bowling alley in 2022.

The full episode, in promotion of Offset’s upcoming album, Kiari, is now available to watch on YouTube. Kiari arrives on Aug. 22.

Bonnie Raitt is showing her support for comedian Stephen Colbert, whose late night talk show, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, was canceled by CBS.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer shared video on Instagram of some of her performances on The Late Show, writing, “In light of the shocking cancellation of @colbertlateshow with Stephen Colbert (set to end next May,) we want to send along our support and appreciation for what he means to us and the crucial right to have free expression in a healthy democracy.”

“We know his brilliant, beloved and important place in our culture will continue to evolve in some new, exciting way,” the post adds. “We wish him and his incredible team all the best and are so grateful for what they continue to give us all. He’s number 1 in the late night market for a reason. Unstoppable!”

Performances featured in the post include Raitt’s last appearance in June 2022, where she performed “Blame It On Me” from her album Just Like That…, as well as a 2019 performance of John Prine’s “Angel From Montgomery,” which the post says was one of Colbert’s favorite tunes.

CBS announced in July that the network was canceling The Late Show saying it was a “financial decision.” The longtime franchise will end in May 2026 after more than 30 years on air. At the time of the announcement Paramount had been working to finalize a deal to sell Paramount to Skydance Media, which needed approval from the Trump administration to go through. The merger has since closed.

Raitt will kick off the next leg of her current tour on Aug. 20 in Port Chester, New York. A complete list of dates can be found at BonnieRaitt.com.

The long-awaited sophomore album from Bailey Zimmerman has finally arrived.

“2 years of work, 18 songs, and a few dang good friends,” he shared on his socials, along with a photo of him sporting a tank top with the album title. “The Different Night Same Rodeo Album is out now.”

The record’s title is a nod to something Bailey’s father often said to him growing up, “Same s***, different day.”

The release also comes with a little surprise.

“Did somebody say they wanted a music video w/ [The Kid LAROI]?” Bailey teased. “‘Lost’ Official Music Video… BE THERE OR BE SQUARE.”

Bailey and the Australian rapper shot the video in the Las Vegas desert.

Different Night Same Rodeo features “Backup Plan” with Luke Combs, which is currently nearing the top of the chart, as well as Bailey’s previous hit, “Holy Smokes.”
